thanks Jon, after reading your book I have changed my whole life around, I'm no longer fat, tired, depressed or angry at myself. I now love life!! thank you!!
I always knew by common sense that one should not eat during night. But I never followed it. I eat during midnight for almost 3-4 years. It resulted in gaining more than 60 lbs.
He has explained the concept very clearly. I have switched to more healthy food and also I take black tea/green tea before dinner to suppress appetite. I have lost more than 20lbs in 1.5 months. I avoid carbs during dinner. Those who love carbs should move them to lunch or breakfast. Damage would be much lesser.
He is right. I was a huge night eater and dieted all day long. I couldn't' lose the vanity 10 lbs to save my life and was about to give up. Then I tried not eating after 5 pm and lost the weight within 2 months. I ate a large breakfast and lunch and 2 snacks.
It's so hard to get out of the habit of eating food at night... and sometimes for me it's just that, a habit. I'm not even that hungry, but I'll get up for a snack. Stupid, stupid! But I think I've been doing better recently. Jon Gabriel is the bomb!
I'm just getting started on this method of changing the way I live my life. So I was interested in watching these videos...and they're excellent as is the book and cd downloads. But I don't think I can watch these....his freaking hand!!! I actually had to scroll down so that his picture wasn't visible anymore because it was THAT irritating! Just sayin.....
thank you! I don't believe in all that crap that 'it's how much you eat and not when you eat". Eating late at night and going right the way to sleep wil make you fat!

Roger Gould, M.D. who has clips here on youTube says night eating is "emotional" eating, so I certainly agree that it is NOT real hunger.

Great video. It makes a lot of sense to me. I never used to be overweight until I quit smoking and started eating junk food late at night.
