Ummmm....recording a talk in an outside environment at the distance of 20 feet is not an easy thing to do. Extraneous noise (the wind, people moving around), rock reflections and use of a small portable camera all make for "you're lucky you can hear any voices at all". Turn up your volume a little and concentrate.
