This sounds nothing like it but yall did good. We are playing this song in our marching band now. We have big sound. and at the competition we took 1st place.
I'm a junior at Glasgow High School in Kentucky. We're playing this show this year. And I can honestly say that we are SO much better than you guys. Like, we sounded like this during band camp. Way to ruin a great show.
@chris7pooper It's junk. The percussion plays the woodwind run. Wtf. You can claim that audio ruined it for you, but a truly superior band can surpass limitations like poor audio or a large field (which it seems like you all had to deal with as well). Your visuals are pretty poor, as well.
the machines is absolutely my favorite show of all time, and i absolutely HATE it when it gets butchered. but you guys beasted it!!! awesome job! my band is about your size (actually a bit smaller) and its shows like this that shows that we can be just as good as a huge band! hard to believe you only got tenth...you guys are amazing! good luck this year!!!

i just joined the jaguars this year and we didnt place but at most competitions we got 3. im so amazed at how much better the band as a whole is now... 8)
my band southington high school blue knights band(southington CT) did this show last year (2008) and we were amazing at it!!! we were so good that we won 3rd place with a score of 96._ _ . we recieved that score in all states in the north east region. we won over a few NJ and Pa bands(NJ and PA are known for really good marching bands)!!!

Holy shit... 7:55!!! The bass drum break was really awesome.
We played this show at my school 2 years ago and that was a woodwinds section also played by this one really awesome kid in pit on xylophone.
I like it better as a bass drum break though.

The score has a woodwind feature, but I'm guessing there wasn't enough woodwind sound to warrant the feature for them that year.
The band as a whole did well, though.
