@dft432 He should just come back and parody his pink sweater like it ain't no thing. I'm sure he could still do some fantastic new shit. Look at Van Halen right now.
Met billy squier today (oct 6, 2011) at my old middle school, one of the coolest guys you can ever meet in person. i was rehearsing lonely is the night with him and after rehearsal he was nice enough to show me the solo for lonely is the night. today's generation of kids just don't know what they're missing out on now a days.
@WithinThePower Wow!!!! What a blessing! Billy is one of my faves. I was a teen in the 80's and those were the last years of great music. (C)Rap music sucks and it's sooo negative.
Zep fan since concert in Tampa Florida 1971. Some of the power drumming is there but as a singer its Plant along and his chord use as lead guitar does ring of Page. and I also agree. Zep were Gods. RIP John Henry Bonham.
@smileyguysguitars your gonna absolutely hate me for this but ive been a huge LED fan since way bac and there are some weird ass similiarities but as far as the songs head 2 head go im gonna take BILLY S. on this one!!!! I know no shit that ZEP are LEGEND ROC GODS AND BILLY IS A SMALL TIME ROC QUEEN LOL!!!
OMGOSH THANKS FOR POSTING THIS LOL I SEEN HIM ON PANAMA BEACH SPRING BREAK SOME 25 YEARS AGO..........BEFORE HE WAS EVER EVEN HEARD OF ................................ WILL NEVER FORGET THAT NIGHT OR HIM!!!!!!!!! <3
This should've been the third cut on Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" album. It would've fit in perfectly on that album. It's almost a continuation of "Custard Pie." Squire did a great job on this one. I wish I could say that for some of his other songs, but they're just a little out there. Oh well. LOL!
well you(and I) love the drum breaks and guitar licks on this because it is 100% zeppalicious..and If you don't love Zeppelin, your life has no meaning or value..a kick ass poseur sound is still good..long as you knwo WHAT to steal...nice work Billy Squire.
@downtownpunk4life i agree i had to learn this on guitar as i got a laptop and u tube, now i got it nailed down,my ibanez guitar i would put against anyones.its a 70's one of a kind from fender where my dad worked and bid on it, sunburst reddish, not seen one like it on u tube.serial number and all original.peace
Coolest guitar riff opening ever. And you can't find it anywhere in any live performance unless somebody is WOOOing or wolf whistleing over it. I can't believe that this song, of all songs, never had a pro video made of it. Billy had to know it was awesome since it was in the charts.
billy was the best thing that happened to rock in the 80's and the most talented songwriter/musician to come around in along time-billy fuckin rules!!!!!
Addicted to this song!!
