  • Addicted to this song!!

  • Led Zeppelin/Robert Plant is a definite influence on Billy Squier

  • @dft432 He should just come back and parody his pink sweater like it ain't no thing. I'm sure he could still do some fantastic new shit. Look at Van Halen right now.

  • Now thats good Rock and Roll! Cool Tune!

  • grew up to this .i was 14 when it was released the whole album rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • *sigh* Lonely is the night. But hey, it's nobody's fault but mine. :-(

  • @cfrazier822 its ok mate, you just got to ramble on

  • @tigercub1998 LOL! Ain't that the truth. ^_^ \m/

  • good driving tune

  • Wow, this whole album is great.

  • Very underrated artist! Love this song a lot

  • Best Song ever by Billy Squier.

  • Billy Squire is one of the all time greats, well in my book.

  • Billy found MTV lessened his popularity- mistic is good

  • I dont mean to offend anyone but I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT this was 1977-era Led Zeppelin....

  • @theplourde

    Me too man. lol

  • This and In The Dark are my favorites from him.

  • I play at "expert level". Time to show the snake the donkey!!!

  • There's no official music video for this tune? The song was officially released as a single, but I can't find a promo video anywhere.

  • the video is what u make it

  • Met billy squier today (oct 6, 2011) at my old middle school, one of the coolest guys you can ever meet in person. i was rehearsing lonely is the night with him and after rehearsal he was nice enough to show me the solo for lonely is the night. today's generation of kids just don't know what they're missing out on now a days.

  • @WithinThePower Wow!!!! What a blessing! Billy is one of my faves. I was a teen in the 80's and those were the last years of great music. (C)Rap music sucks and it's sooo negative.

  • smoked lots of crack to this song !

  • this is a good song

  • reading all the comments i understand i'm not the only one that thinks they sound like led zeppelin. fuckin awesome!

  • when i first heard this song, i thought it was led zeppelin :D. ha plant and billy sound similar

  • this song sounds eerily like zeppelin's "nobody's fault but mine,"

    the chorus at least.

but yeah when i heard this song on the radio i was like robert plant?

i shazamed it and i was like billy squier!!!??!!

    this song is so killer.

  • :D I'm related to him :D

  • Zep fan since concert in Tampa Florida 1971. Some of the power drumming is there but as a singer its Plant along and his chord use as lead guitar does ring of Page. and I also agree. Zep were Gods. RIP John Henry Bonham.

  • this song makes me think of zeppelin so much

  • Love the song, the video sucks

  • @xracer1994 thanks

  • @jimbotrains Don't listen to that dick, song rocks video rocks. Thanks for uploading it.

  • what video

  • what a fucking beast he is shows us why we love 80's rock

  • Ever notice how much this sounds like like a ripoff of nobodys fault but mine AKA the best song by led zeppelin!!

  • @smileyguysguitars your gonna absolutely hate me for this but ive been a huge LED fan since way bac and there are some weird ass similiarities but as far as the songs head 2 head go im gonna take BILLY S. on this one!!!! I know no shit that ZEP are LEGEND ROC GODS AND BILLY IS A SMALL TIME ROC QUEEN LOL!!!

  • 1 person is very lonely at night!!

  • FUCKING AWESOME GUITAR !!

  • FANTÁSTICO!!! ISSO QUE É SOM!!!

  • OMGOSH THANKS FOR POSTING THIS LOL I SEEN HIM ON PANAMA BEACH SPRING BREAK SOME 25 YEARS AGO..........BEFORE HE WAS EVER EVEN HEARD OF ................................ WILL NEVER FORGET THAT NIGHT OR HIM!!!!!!!!! <3

  • This should've been the third cut on Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" album. It would've fit in perfectly on that album. It's almost a continuation of "Custard Pie." Squire did a great job on this one. I wish I could say that for some of his other songs, but they're just a little out there. Oh well. LOL!

  • well you(and I) love the drum breaks and guitar licks on this because it is 100% zeppalicious..and If you don't love Zeppelin, your life has no meaning or value..a kick ass poseur sound is still good..long as you knwo WHAT to steal...nice work Billy Squire.

  • if you don't like this song I WILL MURDER YOU the starting riff knocks it out of the park!!!

  • that riff that start's it, just fuckin hits home..

  • @downtownpunk4life i agree i had to learn this on guitar as i got a laptop and u tube, now i got it nailed down,my ibanez guitar i would put against anyones.its a 70's one of a kind from fender where my dad worked and bid on it, sunburst reddish, not seen one like it on u tube.serial number and all original.peace

  • Coolest guitar riff opening ever. And you can't find it anywhere in any live performance unless somebody is WOOOing or wolf whistleing over it. I can't believe that this song, of all songs, never had a pro video made of it. Billy had to know it was awesome since it was in the charts.

  • Much respect :)

  • billy was the best thing that happened to rock in the 80's and the most talented songwriter/musician to come around in along time-billy fuckin rules!!!!!

  • i love this song i play it everyday in guitar hero 5, it is awesome

  • This song rawks!

  • robert plant what???

  • @lilwaynesrocksucks the lead singer in led zeplin

  • Best work out song ever!! Ouche

  • fuckin' love this.

  • move over beiber, we got real music here :D

  • billy sounds like robert plant in this song

  • @asinnersprayer76 yeah, the first time i heard this, i thought it was Led Zeppelin!

  • @asinnersprayer76 oh yeah...LUVEM!!

  • @asinnersprayer76 first time i heard this...i was like...is this zeppelin??

  • @asinnersprayer76 it does too.

  • @asinnersprayer76

was just about to say, I always get fooled it not being Zep in the beginning. It even sounds like Bonzo on Drums & Page on guitar too.

  • @asinnersprayer76 Far better singer than Robert Plant in my opinion, i would much rather listen to Billy Squire sing than Plant even his prime years.

  • @bassmanjoe

    Ok..drugs are bad mmmkay?

  • @asinnersprayer76 when i was younger i thought it was robert plant.

  • @asinnersprayer76 No no no, Robert Plant is far better :DD

  • @asinnersprayer76 Yah, intro kinda sounds like "Bring it on Home" too.

  • @asinnersprayer76

hell yeah the first time i heard it i was like wtf??? but an amazing song still

  • @asinnersprayer76 yes yes yesss agreee

  • Mechy I love this song, make me pick up my guitar after a few years.

  • '81 4 ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Everytime somebody dosent enjoy this video, Chuck Norris dropkicks a baby kitten in the face.

  • One of the best songs of all times. it totally rocks

  • @ jkllad. this does sound like it could be a led zeppelin song. i would of loved to hear them do a cover of it.

  • @rflcleveland This is song is based on Led Zep's "Nobody's Fault But Mine".

  • Sounds like John Bonham and John Paul Jones on drums and bass. (although impossible) Great song!

  • what year was this released?

  • I believe 1981

  • @jimbotrains Yep, I just took a look at the album...1981.
