@MelodiaTodoElDia To be eligible to compete at the Olympics, you have to be turning 16 in the Olympic year. Previously, gymnasts who were eligible to compete at the Olympics could compete at Worlds but since 2010 or 2009, the FIG has scraped the rule. All gymnasts have to be 16 to compete at World level.
The Chinese didn't cheat. They TRAINED... It is not fair that they are forced to do this even if they don't want to... If thats it, I go against it =[ Oh yeah and I'm chinese, I just learned about this...
@wutis4ever Although the life style if difficult, it is much better than they other options, which would be working on the streets. Atleast in this kind of atmosphere they have a chance of success. They train for their families. And the hope of a better life.
yay the chinese gymnasts won! it was deserved even if the gymnasts were underage. whats a year or two less anyway? people are making a really big deal out of this they shouldn't.
It's a HUGE deal! The chinese gymnasts are abused at their training centres. It's not fair that chinese gymnasts are put into the centres at ages or 2 and 3 and stay there for decades. If that's all they do, then of course they'll be good.
China cheated and if they want to prove to everybody how 'good' they are, then they should have their own competition.
It is not fair to have underage gymnasts when all the other countries play by the rules.
i just just joking. the chinese DO NOT have underage gymnasts, there is proof that Jiang Yuyuan turned 17 in november, i don't know about he kexin, but she actually has a very mature sounding voice. Deng Linlin's "missing tooth" is actually just a tooth that grew in behind the other one. she just needs braces to fix that.
Canadians can't even do elite gymnastics even they are abused. The only good one is a Chinese Canadian. You guys only have the gene to play hockey, poor piglets...
