modest mouse is truly amazing and brock is one of the great lyrical geniuses of our time. But they have tons of really shitty songs. the new ep sucks and almost every song off sad sappy sucker is fuckin terribles. I used to be really into them when I was younger. I've been turned off by their simplistic guitar work and obnoxious vocals. i guess im just saying dont get caught up obsessing over this shit cuz there is a lot more interesting music than modest mouse

@plsultra the new ep had some great work on it Whale song is EPIC, although I do skip most of the others. I'm curious what modern band do you think is as interesting as modest mouse? If you meant older stuff like floyd or zeppelin ect then i can agree. Sad sappy sucker has some great ideas I would love to see Issac revisit some day, but most of the songs are not dare i say complete, Issac's vocals are most def not for every one, I'm not trying to start a argument I appreciate your opinion :P
