  • 7:21 i hate him dieeee get him catwoman!!!!

  • Julie Newmar...crrrrroaaarrr.

  • Meowth, She's such a hot looking singer. LOL Pussycat is the best female sidekck ever.

  • was 3:13 a blooper moment when julie almost sat on the hand rest on the chair?

  • so youre tryin to tell me Catwoman turned Lesley Gore OUT-? MEOW......!

  • It was Julie Newmar (as well as Lee Meriweather) who catapulted ME into puberty. Boy does this make me feel young again!

  • California Nights best Leslie Gore song

  • This was on the TUB channel on Direct TV the other night. It was great!! Catwoman (who is very funny) mentions that Lesley is TOO SHORT for a singer. Look how tall Catwoman is and how short Lesley is. BTW - I am surprised there are not more videos with this great song.

  • I sooo forgot how wonderful the writing was for this. Delightfully campy!! I never missed an ep win I was a kid. Thanks for uploading this!

  • Its funny how unsexy a buxom woman in a pink cat costume can be

  • Has anybody ever *tried* to put two phone handsets back to back like Commissioner Gordon does in this clip? I'm pretty sure nobody would be able to understand each other.

  • The acting on Batman from wayne and dick too the villians and the police is top class its too bad the shows ratings dropped

  • i like the song so much

  • Wow! Thanks! this was just a memory for more than 40 years!

  • I fell in love with Leslie Gore after she sang California Nights!

  • After Catwoman delivers her classic line "Nobody gets more applause than Catwoman!", Julie Newmar is then seen to sit on the arm of the chair before she realizes her mistake and quickly moves over. It's true: go and have a look. (I'll wait.)

    :-)

  • @avidviewer67 true, very minor though

  • Nobody gets more applause than Catwoman....great line.

  • did you notice Catwoman using a wad of bills as a napkin to hold her hot dog? J. Pat O'Malley has been in all sorts of things from Disney animated films to TV shows to films. Leslie Gore is Gore-geous (It's My Party/Judy's Turn to Cry)

  • This is the first time I ever saw Lesley Gore. I used to watch that old Batman series and when I saw her sing this song, it was love at first sight. I've been a fan ever since. That Pussycat costume is very sexy and I like it when she moves her shoulders along with the string on those mittens at the end of the song. It's too bad they cut almost a full minute of the song out of the middle. :(

  • When she says 'Milkshake A-Go-Go,' I find it highly erotic.

  • @flapdoodle64 Perverted Story, bro

  • That episode was on last night great song.

  • Leslie Gore's uncle was a producer on this show. True fact.

  • I loved this episode as a kid.

  • 3:04 Catwoman fucked up and sat on the arm of the chair

  • @jediknightgeo Yep! Checked the clip again 3:13

  • I used to watch Batman ... it was so long ago. Don't remember this one though.

  • 'Either you're going to be a singer, or you're going to be an arch-criminal. You can't be both.' 'Do I have a choice?' 'No. You're too short.'

  • Incredible!!

  • gotta love as the 3 maroon henchmen are just bopping their heads towards the end of the song. My wife and I want that cat phone in the back.

  • @jckoby I meant the green cat in the back.

  • What this song a hit for leslie gore?

  • @johnny10301968 there's two songs in these episodes that she sings. i think this one was "california nights" if not "maybe now"

  • OK, "odious" and "abhorrent" I got, but what was that last word?

  • @jrcarter9175

    insegrevious. a made-up word apparently.

That whole line uttered by Batman was supposedly said by Gary Owens (remember Laugh-In?) on the radio. Now I'm wondering who really said it first. Have to see if Owens was a writer for Batman.

  • This song I remember as as child. I saw it more then less for the first time.. I like it then I like it now...

  • She must be Leslie Gore. I recognize the voice.

  • @Tarotlynx It is

  • Where's Pat Pending's Convertercar?

  • The man speaks truth about the inventions.

  • The black catwoman is more carismatic.

  • Holy cannoli, Batman, this is so kinky.

And Julie Newmar was smokin' HOT!

  • We have Julie Camel toe at 4:07!!!

  • Yes we do... and I have Diesel415 moose knuckle to match it!

  • Comment removed

  • It's Julie Pussy Toe at 4:07!!!

  • @vd4u2 Good Spot!

  • can anyone tell what catwoman's eating? it looks like a corndog or something

  • Was Pussycat an actual "famous" singer, guest starring in this episode?

  • Are you kidding? It's only the fabulous Leslie Gore, that's all. You must be too young, of course. Have you ever heard of the song "It's My Party" that's her too. She's still around and has a great new album called "Ever Since."

  • Pussycat was played by Leslie Gore. She debuted "California Nights" on this episode. She also did "Sunshin, Lollipops & Rainbows," "It's My Party", "Young Love," "You don't Own Me," etc.

  • "Its My Party is My Favorite Song!

  • Yes. It's Lesley Gore.

  • Hmmm...

    Julie Newmar !!!

  • Well actually, a perpetual motion device would free up people to do other jobs, save people money, and make society in general more productive, and besides there are some jobs that can only be done using humans.

He should forget about it because it goes against the laws of thermodynamics.

  • Wow. Have not seen this in a long time. Brings back memories. Wish they would put these on dvd. I loved this episode and remember having a huge crush on Pussycat. Thanks for sharing.
