Leslie West is so good a guitar player- The guitar almost seems organic to him- He is so in touch with the guitar- It is a shame that his kind of talent has become D-List and American Idol- Lady GaGa and Rap are top sellers.

Leslie West has been such an inspiration since mountain - it fabulous these interviews are being done. (my life was changed by hearing eric clapton and jimi hendrix but i don't play guitar as well as mr. west)

Considering ALL the challenges Leslie West had to overcome... (major drugs, extreme obesity, and cancer) ... its AMAZING hes not extremely bitter.

Leslie is a HERO. An Icon. A Rock God. And an TRUE EXAMPLE for troubled youth of today. He SURVIVED. Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix & dozens of other musicians lost the drug war, but Leslie persevered!

Leslie made it public here. He had bladder cancer. Luckily they found it early.

Haha I dont think Rose Hill Drive would mind much. They got their chance to play with a true legend and Rose Hill sounded BETTER than they ever did. Its actually one of my favorite versions of Mississippi Queen.
