i remeber being 8 and being mad because they treated me like i was stupid. i was tryed to explain that i was a living thing too and that i had a mind of my own just like them, and they just laughed at me as if i had copyed that of a tv show or something, i couldnt wait to get more respect, little did i know that your treated that way your whole life
A child's mind is always fascinating for us adults. They perceive things purely. This video is quite helpful to parents by providing more info for better understanding of the young ones.
Children's inner mental pureness causes them to think differently, they are away from negativity, or more free-minded, by years with the life experiences they learn to limit their minds maybe because of loss of courage and loss of psychological power. In brief children have different expectations from life than grown-ups. They perceive and interpret life differently, think in symbols, so they can call water, "piss".
I didn't edit it out, it was probably removed by UCSF when they posted the video. It's a great clip, you can view it on youtube: search "chimpanzee vs human child learning" .
lol. She knows that a lot animals have skeletal systems. And she also knows that dogs like to dig up bones (probably form cultural reference or personal experience). So, when you ask the question "do dogs have bones." She makes the connection of dogs in possession of bones. So when she answers "no" to the cat question. The statement still holds true, because you didn't ask the question of "do dogs have skeletons?" Adding the "seletons" to her vocabulary eliminates this confusion. ;)
