I lost my mom in 2003. She had many Piaf records and listened to them anytime she could, which wasn't very often. She made me listen to this little French woman sing songs of love that I didn't understand in a shaky voice. Today I'm 39 and Piaf makes me cry by the power of her performance and passion.

You won't miss your mom any less as time goes by. You'll just find ways to remember her without being too overwhelmed.

J'ai grandit écoutant ma mère chanter les chansons d'Édith. Même aujourd'hui, je ne me fatigue jamais de l'écouter et assez souvent je siffle / fredonne ses refrains.

J'ai découvert la chanteuse Zaz il ya une couple de mois qui fait une très belle intrprétation de *Dans ma rue* et je crois que cela va aider à reconnecter encore plus de gens avec la Grande Dame de la Chanson qu'est Édith Piaf !!
