Doris Day was one beautiful lady with an even more beautiful voice. Very few musicians today bring the love music to the performance like she did, recorded or live. As for the movie, "the Man Who Knew too Much", it is Hitchcock at his best. James and Doris had the talent to bring the movie to the classic thriller status it deserves. Hitchcock could give you that horror feeling without showing the violence. T"The Man Who Knew too Much is a true cinematography art presentation.

And that one scene in the MOVIE...........When Doris Day is singing this while playing the piano.................Then her son hears it and begins to WHISTLE the melody when one of his captors lets him do so.

By the way, this song was outlawed in 1956 in Hungary 'whatever will be, will be' was simply too risky to state politically after a revolution...so it was not until 1963 that we got to the US (after my Dad) that she could freely sing her favorite song. She is now 87.
