I LOVE my new Bold. It is THE most amazing phone :). I never use my trackpad anymore, the touchscreen is so much faster. The phone overall is really fast and really reliable.

I have so many problems with my HTC thunderbolt. I HATE it!!!!!!!!!!! I know people at vzw and they could get me this if i were to give up my thunderbolt. Should I or should i wait for a new BB???

9900 has no CDMA Radio and the 9930 has no HSPA+ in the US.

The Blackberry Bold 9930 was one of the very best phones out in 2011..its 2012 now and still the Bold is the most secure phone out..the best looking phone out..the best build quality, the very best keyboard of any phone..Excellent reception..Excellent voice quailty..nice loud speakers...But the samsung galaxy nexus got all the hype..which was one big Fail in all i listed above.

@MrWilliamcute They are the same hardware, the 9930 has CDMA radio working on Verizon in the US. Each carrier offers different software in addition to the BlackBerry 7 software with the phone.

@PTNLemay Put it this way...you barely hear android users say that they're addicted to their phones. But if you ask a blackberry user, he'll hardly shut up about how much he loves his phone and can't live without it. Blackberry os is much more reliable. If you want to play, get android..If you're looking to organize your life on a reliable os, get a blackberry. And if you just want to fit in with your friends and over pay for service and apps, get an iphone. I've tried them all. BB for life.

I've tried iOS and Android, wasn't too too impressed with either of them. Still iOS gets bonus point in my opinion because it does music really well, and actually comes with hardware that's compatible with it (all those ports and earphones count).

Blackberry looks cool... but I get the feeling it won't be of much use to me if I don't write that many emails. A solid keyboard is nice, but it almost always comes at the cost of screen-real-estate.

It's a unisex device....My wife would not think of leaving the house without her Blackberry.We don't think that we're CEOs, we're just used to have a device that can keep up with our busy lives and getting things done without the distraction of useless and costly apps. That may not mean much to you, but to a blackberry user, he/she has a special connection with his/her Blackberry.
