I'm actually very impressed with this...

the action scenes are obviously a little budget restrained....but the characterisation here was superb...and the story itself would have been a fine entry in the series...

Forgot to mention in the last comment. An un-Tintin-like thing was that when he came out of the water, his quiff was flat. And that almost NEVER happens to Tintin!!!!

And Haddock at the wedding scene was just so funny! And all their little victory dances! Hehe!

So much different from stuff I watch these days...

But it was awesome, even though sometimes the subtitles went by too fast and since I was using an iPhone, it was hard to go back and read again.

I saw the trailer before and I was like "hmm I'm not sure I'll like this." but I decided to watch it anyway, and I'm glad I did.

In the end there, were they all drinking champagne? But didn't Tintin say that he never drank?

And isn't Snowy just sooooo adorable?

Some of the subtitles flash by to fast, but the actors are good at bringing the characters alive and all and all it's not a bad movie :).
