@yago311 I always assumed she represented an amalgamation of Micaela, his mother and (since she appears when the theme is played) Fate. I love Ek's work... and Ana Laguna is breathtaking.

Mats Ek is pure genius. Carmen is his best imo, loved it from the first time i saw it, then was 'bout 9 years old:) such strong impression left . thanks for uploading

I am desperatly trying to get Mats Ek's Giselle, also with Ana Laguna, on a DVD. I've tried everything bue can't seem to get a copy of it.

I have this Carmen. It is the most exciting thing I've ever seen.
