@888erkan888 It was pretty well reported at the time it happened in newspapers etc. I remember hearing on the radio that Robbie had called up after a DJ mentioned him on air (in a sort of whatever happened to Robbie WIlliams? type scenario) and that minutes later Robbie called the radio but no one believed it was him and told him to go away. But they found out later it actually was him. This was apparently something that had happened at least once before too. Or so I heard...

Ok i see. But what does that have to do with him being lonley? I dont doubtthat Rob has had problems with hes personal life, just that he just listened and called for fun. Btw about "robbies sadness"...when did he actually get sad? when was hes "sad days"? In early 2000 he must have been happy when he got huge, and now he says hes very happy again.

The show host said that Robbie had been desperate to talk to someone - anyone because he was so lonely. Don't ask me if that's true or not, but it was in all the papers. He has admitted in more than one interview that he was severely depressed all through his later Take That years and throughout his solo career because he was alone and that is why he turned to drug/alcohol abuse. This comes from the horses mouth - look up a few other recent interviews, he's quite open about it.
