Hm. Every new one except Mac Pro. Built in iSight camera and speakers all the time. Next ones. Very fast processors, enough HDD space, enough RAM, a video card you dont really need to upgrade since it had enough memory and is usually HD, oh not to mention the glossy screens, iMacs are all in one(i know the HP touchsmart and some other are but w/e). Mac OS X has one version with everything, the programs are faster, doesnt have clogged hard drives.... and anything else i think of needs new comment

I can build a more powerful PC than any Mac for half the cost... running Windows 'better' and quieter. If I want to upgrade any part, I just switch it out, if I want to change my setup or have a problem, I can run DOS based tools and use this thing called a BIOS, where you can change these things called settings... Try doing any of that on your locked down POS!

people dosent understand computers this days, the diferent operating systems are for diferent things. mac is fully optimized computer for video, audio, music, animation, and design, directed mostly at enterprises and professionals in those areas. although its hardware is also so well designed that every os runs even better on an intel mac than in pcs. and the mac os is just so rich and powerful system for aplication, and vidoegames development, thats it is delicious working on it.
I currently run a dual boot set-up on my Mac with Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.4 and Windows Vista SP1. For about one year after getting a Mac, I never thought about switching back, but now that I have more experience with computers, I understand that a Windows/Linux dual boot system is actually better for me. I can cheaply and easily upgrade the hardware, Ubuntu suits my basic needs and Windows will be there for gaming. No need for Mac OS X, therefore no need for overpriced hardware.
You forgot to mention all the other programs Windows runs that Mac can't! AIDS, for instance, the wonderful program that writes over a good chunk of your HDD. That's an older and less sophisticated example than what is available today. One thing I don't understand is: how could you even consider comparing MS Paint to Photoshop? It's ridiculous. If you want a free painting program that works almost as well as photoshop, go GIMP, which is native to... anyone? LINUX! Windows sucks.

I have windows on THIS machine. Right now, I'm in Linux. It's called dual booting. No emulation, separate partitions. What I meant by wine runs better is that wine runs FASTER, because it's slimmed down, and it doesn't crash, because it's in Linux! On this particular computer, when I'm in Windows and open a word document, I have time to go make tea before it is loaded. When I open that exact same document in wine, it takes approximately 5 seconds to open. Not everything is about games, loser.

Sounds similar to me, granted I used a mac since I was 3 and used it for about 11 years before I got my PC. I just can't stand the mac OS, it just seems so dumbed down and restrictive. I've tried to use a OSX on macbook pros (parents) and it just kinda erks me and seems to take awhile accessing programs I need. (if they arn't on the desktop)

For finding the apps, use Spotlight and type in the first few letters of its name. For right-clicking, set up your multitouch/touchpad so that when you tap it with two fingers it right-clicks. :) See? Easy peasy.
Not really true, there are viruses for mac it's just that since Macs still occupy the smaller user % compaired to PC (isn't it 3% or something like that?), more viruses are being made against the Windows system. If the mac becomes more popular in business use I expect a larger number of viruses will be appearing for whatever mac OS is available.

You're forgetting that Half Life 2 can be run easily on the Mac by using either Crossover or Cider (all 'native'), and any game for Windows XP or Vista can be run very easily using Boot Camp. Soon, even virtual machines will be able to run games like Crysis.

Sounds similar to me, granted I used a mac since I was 3 and used it for about 11 years before I got my PC. I just can't stand the mac OS, it just seems so dumbed down and restrictive. I've tried to use a OSX on macbook pros (parents) and it just kinda erks me and seems to take awhile accessing programs I need. (if they arn't on the desktop)
Another thing, I wish they would make a laptop with the 2 key config, yes, I know I can get a mouse, but still, using ctrl-click gets old.

For finding the apps, use Spotlight and type in the first few letters of its name. For right-clicking, set up your multitouch/touchpad so that when you tap it with two fingers it right-clicks. :) See? Easy peasy.

Not really true, there are viruses for mac it's just that since Macs still occupy the smaller user % compaired to PC (isn't it 3% or something like that?), more viruses are being made against the Windows system. If the mac becomes more popular in business use I expect a larger number of viruses will be appearing for whatever mac OS is available.

Normally, when an exploit emerges, it is patched quickly, and I think that it is well over 3%, I think closer to 6% or even 8%. (Maybe more). Oh well. I forgot what this dumb video was even about anyways xD.

You're forgetting that Half Life 2 can be run easily on the Mac by using either Crossover or Cider (all 'native'), and any game for Windows XP or Vista can be run very easily using Boot Camp. Soon, even virtual machines will be able to run games like Crysis.

That's the thing... It's not an emulator, it's Windows, pretty much any distribution of Linux and Mac OS X all running natively. Sounds like you're misinformed about the 'emulator'. Newer Macs run on the same chip as PCs, so there is no need for emulation.

well...youve got me there but the hardware on a pc computer is still a whole hell of of a lot faster then mac hardware the only reason apple swiched to intel processors was because they knew pcs were using them for YEARS and leaving mac in the dust because of it besideds amd leavs em all in the dust 1.25 ghz on a intel processor in waaay faster than 1.25 ghz on a power pc

This is such a pointless discussion, no-one is ever going to win this.
It's like comparing racing-bikes and choppers, or like trying to find out which religion is the true one. PC can be better for games and such things, and Macs are used in the process of making (pro) movies, music and those sort of things.
Either way, we as a customer are better of when both systems are out there.
Choose for yourself which-one you prefer. I'm spoiled, so I got a Mac.

Macs and PCs are suited for different areas of the workforce. I'm a musician, so of course I'm going to use a Mac with Logic and Finale. However, an engineer or businessman would probably use a PC for number crunching/business management applications. This debate is old and meaningless, and I honestly couldn't give a rat's ass about it anymore.

This video is a bit out of date. Now 72% of games for pc's are availible for Mac u just need to know where to look. Beides if i did want to waste my time playing BF2 i would install windows using boot camp, BUT WHY WOULD I WANT TO INSTALL A SHITTY OPERATING SYSTEM!
As for windows running Adobe photoshop, every thought why its made by Macromedia, MAC...romedia thats right, it was originally designed for the Mac.

I agree that the Mac has (in my mind) two significant advantages over PC: lack of viruses, and ease of use (which is acheived with he bundled iLife and stuff). saying iLife is superiour is probably rtrue, but only for windows stock programs. For gods sake, you can actually find thousands of SUPERIOUR and more DIVERSe things available on a PC.
