@SwimandEatCake There are many very effective techniques (painful holds, for example) that allow skillful person to hold his/her opponent in position for successful tying up, especially if using hojo techniques.

@alexanderlaskin and in a prisoner of war, or regular prisoner, situation (for example), the people being tied would be kept steady by other soldiers/guards

Tying techniques dont necesserilly include sex. Some people do enjoy the feeling of it without having to get penetrated. So stop being 12 years old and pay respect to an art. Maybe if it was advertised by some of your respectfull tv-personas you would get your fat asses of the couch and try something new for a change...

Hojtoojutsu is based on the ways nobility in the former orinetal states (mainly Japan i think) were tied. It was meant to disarm anyone taken prisoner, but as tradition would have it, the way they were tied showed how high they stood on the ladder of society.

Of course the main thing was to render them unable to escape, without causing their death before they could have been interrogated.
