@Hoffenheim08 I come from a land far far away from Hoffenheim, where people actually read other people's comments CAREFULLY before posing idiotic questions.
@Hoffenheim08 Are you actually trying to turn this into an anti-Semitism discussion? It's a friggin' sports page! Arabs, Balkan people, Turks, Italians, the French have huge schnozzes, among others. It is not a Jewish thing. Duh.
But to answer your question I'll give you a tip/hint: try kissing a big-nosed gal.
Steffi Graf stands clearly far above Monica Seles, in the tennis History (and not only in it). It is proved by quite a deal of undisputable facts :
If Seles managed to take over the number one ranking in March 91, it is mostly because the first scandal around Steffis father had wrecked Steffis inner balance, her home happiness and the unity of her parents, whom she cared so much for.

@gercc89 Yeah, and Venus played like crap in Miami. That was one of the worst games I've ever seen in women's tennis. Venus kept making unforced errors back to back. It reminded me of the Clijsters vs. Petrova game in Australia.
Nope, I actually like Clijsters, she's just not one of my favorite tennis players. Who doesn't like Clijsters?? We'll see what will happen in 2010 but I really don't think that she's going to win any grandslams- sorry.
@GBP1985 Yep, Clijsters is on a roll! I also think that she can take the French Open this year but I'm not sure about Wim. or US Open assuming that Serena will be playing in both. I'm a huge Serena fan but I think that Clijsters could overtake her in the French.
It is very unlikely that Kim will win another grand slam. Henin on the other hand is capable of winning more slams, especially the French Open. I really don't think that either one of them is going to dominate 2010 like everybody thinks. I'll be watching out for Wozniacki, Azarenka, the Williams' sisters, the Chinese players, & Sharapova to dominate 2010! I don't know why everybody is making a big deal about Kim coming back to tennis after having a baby- other female athletes do it all the time
Heh, nothing agst. Kim & I really do like her better than Henin. I just don't think that she's consistent enough to win another GS. I also think that all of the players that she beated in US open 09 will make it their top agenda to not lose to her again. Remember how Serena won Aus. Open 07 & then she didn't win anything else that year.
I think she has enough years under her belt to win at least one more, or at least reach the finals. Perhaps not next year, but she will eventually reach the top 10, top 5 and with a good draw hopefully win.
Steffi always was uncomfortable in front of the camera, and she has just learned a few moves that enable her to get through these things fairly comfortably, but I don't think we see the real Graf during (most) interviews. And who could have predicted Kim's fabulous results? even she wasn't taking about winning the US Open this year.
Steffi is stlll, for me, the most beautiful, the most graceful, the most interesting woman champion of the game. Just a miracle ever since she first appeared.
I said that coz u know for some women at forties they lose some of their twenties beauty,,, and i didnt mean she was uglier, I said she's MORE beautiful now, that mean she was already beautiful :)
@liveLibya - Ms. liveLibya I must apologize for Fedor as I have he suffers from micropenis which is an unusually small penis. A common criterion is a dorsal erect penile length of at least 2.5 standard deviations smaller than the mean human penis size.
His gender identity problem that is both social and biological. His penis is too small to put into a vagina and he could not find a satisfactory social and sexual place in society. His parents could have opted for gender reassignment -mistake
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It must be somewhat intimidating to be married to someone who has a nose that is larger than your penis :D
Just kidding hehe... great people both of them.
I think its actually quite good that they kept their comments in perspective. Positive, but without blowing it out of proportion. After all, what Kim did was out of this world, very few people could have predicted that one.
wow, is it just me or was Steffi and Andre (but more Steffi) spectacularly pessimistic about Kim's comeback...it were giving her a token, she was good, but we doubt she'll do well...
and what is Andre wearing an Adidas shirt?! Wasn't he the MJ of Nike when he was at the top? That's weird...
Williams sisters?! They are those who make a bad name for women's tennis! Especially the younger one...
There are great female tennis players out there at the moment, but "the sistas" are so overhyped people fail to see they're not the only ones who can play well.
They're the best ones. Some years ago Clijsters, Henin, Davenport, Capriati were great and alongside Williams sisters made a great "epoque" in women's tennis. But right now no one can beat Venus and Serena when they want to win. I hope Kim come back in great shape and I have great expectations on V Azarenka!
Serena is all "Me" in her interviews and I agree it gets very annoying and is unsportsmanlike but in some strange way, that attitude adds to her charm. As an example, youtube Serena Williams vs Andy Roddick
oh god, women's tennis is so dreadful to watch. This so-called No. 1 in women's tennis has been thrashed by Venus 6-1 6-0 in the semi. When I heard this, I was like 'Fuck! you got to be joking! no No.1 can play this bad!" on well Safina sure has shown her "amazing record" today.
Williams sisters' grand slam success ironicaly made mockery to ranking system, which only speaks quantity rather than quality. I can't wait for Kim to come back to varify the interest of women's tennis.
I agree. Women's tennis used to so fun and competitive with likes of two Belgians, Williams Sisters, Davenport, Capriati and a group of Eastern European players were competing. I really missed those days. Now the state of women's tennis is absolutely dreadful. With the undisputable former world No. 1 Henin retire, the williams sisters are getting old, it's a very delighted that Kimis making a comeback. Hope she will help bring up some interest of women's tennis.
henin was playing good like in 2007. At the begining of 2008 she was soo messed up and her game wasnt the same. If henin didnt retire she would be ranked like 22 now
I think part of the reason why Henin didn't quite match up with her success in previous year because she lost her motivation. If it weren't the lack of motivation, I am pretty sure she can still win it. It was quite a shock then when she announced sudden retirement.
I agree with you Prickle. The current so-called world No. 1 right now can't even win a Slam. It's so sad. If it weren't because Henin retired so soon and Sharapova got injury and been absent for so long, we could at least witness some interesting tennis.
So did Federer who had been on No.1 spot so many weeks without having a great record against Nadal. People didn't question about Fed's qualication of being utimate No. 1, similarly why questiion Kim's status just because she only lost to one player at the time? In addtion, as we know after Kim took rest for injury in 2004, Henin also suffered from injury as well. If Kim were fortunate, she would've had won a lot of slams with such an advantage.
oh my god, how can anyone have such a bad taste --- i mean she is really ugly with taht nose and her eyes! absolutely no go

When Andre and Steffi kiss, does her nose park itself into one of his eyes?
If so, is this why he quit tennis - the inability to see the ball due to failing eye-sight?

If Steffi kisses Andre on the mouth how would her nose be able to "park itself into one of his eyes"?
BTW, this is a non so idiotic question to an idiotic statement.
Making fun of other persons noses was a bad habit in this country some 70 years ago and led to mass murder.

Met Steffi the other day.
She is the sweetest woman ever.
Andre is incredibly fortunate in so many ways.
You should see her in person now. So lean and skinny, yet lithe muscle all over.
I was shocked at how good she looked after at least two kids.
Great couple and family, I wish them all well.
