That's not a 1977. I have a 1978 and it's very close to the '77 in style. That is definitely not a '77. I have a 1978 with a 350, 4 speed, posi and buckets,,same as it came from the factory. Had it 20 years already.
@syyenergy7 check ur research dude that is a 76 or 77 el camino the one u have does not look a thing like that the 78's did not have 2 square stacked headlights on both sides only the 76 and 77's did
@stars1976 Yes you're right. '78 must have been when they had a major design change. I had to get a front spindle one time,,turned out to be a 1978 only part. Mine came factory equipped with a Saginaw 4 speed (now has a Sag from a truck) and a posi. I just have a 350 engine stock with a Demon carb 2 barrel with open exhaust. I use the thing. Originally someone bought it for construction. This thing was used a lot by me and prior owners. You're right.
