SSBB Character Expose: Diddy Kong and Toon Link

Diddy's side B is one of the best moves. It has top priority and if you out from the suface and you need to get back you can use it if the other player is standing there and attacking. For example: On player spams A smash you you get get to the field without being knocked away again, use side B to attack and your opponents attack is less priority then yours so you get back to the field and hit your opponent :)

Heres a tip when Downspiking with diddy:

WALK off the edge

predict when your opponent is gonna jump

jump exactly when he does, toward the opponent and smash when hes on/under you.

the wall of pain was made famous by jigglypuff, but its when you stay in the air (from jiggly's multiple jumps) and attack on each one. it makes it so that your opponant cant touch the ground and is very ANNOYING lol

Also, a great combo is knocking the opponent off the stage, and while he/she tries to recover, use the Diddy Hump, and jump up, and edgegrab, thus preventing the opponent from recovering if he/she has high enough damage % :)

Diddy Kong also has really amazing recovery, because if he's knocked out, he can mid-air jump, do a side B (WITHOUT the extra kick) and then an up B and recover. really useful and frustrating for your opponent :)

PS: you can omit the extra kick from the side B by not hitting an attack button during or after the attack, thus allowing you to use the up B recovery

We typically use Lucario because he has a great recovery (makes the demo easier) and because he has pretty average weight and size to demonstrate how well the combos can connect. Plus, my brother likes playing as him.
