Good place to begin. Who "owns" the Demarcation Extension, the ILEC, the CLEC, the Carrier, the Customer, or the Building Owner? May the customer's contractor move a Demarcation Extension within a building?

@eiderskol Those questions are very common. By definition, the demarcation point is the point at which the ownership of service is transferred to the customer from the local access provider. The Demarc Extension is the transmission path which extends the service to the edge Customer Premises Equipment (eCPE). Considering this information, the customer's contractor may certainly install a demarc extension within the building.
