If I remember more once there was a major news story on ITV1 so all CiTV was on ITV2 but since ITV1 stopped there main afternoon programmes there hasbeen no CiTV on any ITV Channel apart from the CiTV Channel
When I was a kid, I always used to hate it when it was the day of "The Budget", as all my favourite "Children's ITV" programmes were cancelled for the day, which usually was a Tuesday IIRC. BBC1 shifted "CBBC" over to BBC2, but I used to wonder why ITV didn't do the same with Channel 4? Your video shows what a good idea it would've been! Good stuff...
Well, I actually agree with you there, but I remember having contacted the childrens' programming department at Central Television twelve years ago to ask this very question, apparently because of the fact that S4C broadcasts in Wales, ITV felt that they didn't have the cross-fertilisation to do this and also Central also felt that they didn't want to upset Channel 4 (or S4C)'s set advertising pattern so this may well explain why...
