Did anyone see the Guardian review? They actually believed Paul McCartney featured on Rain Came Down - oh and they also presumed Witchazel is Matt's debut album. I read said newspaper but it really tickles me when they try to be cool but instead make themselves look like utter tools... which is quite often :)
@chels782 It's not :) If you look on the sleeve notes it's Paul Mcartney... the misspelling is intentional. It's a joke... it's someone doing an impression of Macca. Sounds alot like Peter Serafinowicz to me.
@waybexxx Ah. I stand corrected. Kudos to Matt, he's stumped all the Beatles/Macca fans then because McCartney is credited on the track on several fan websites. It was too good to be true.
@chels782 I think what happened was that the reviews of the album made the mistake early on (that's if they are mistaken... it could be me that's wrong, haha) and credited McCartney. Word then spread. I've noticed Wikipedia mentions it's Macca but as you know the information there is often wrong. I also saw one McCartney fansite credit him as playing bass on the track.
Just to add more fuel to the fire the album's credits/thanks say "... and the other person who's name I cannot mention."
Does ANYONE else not understand how his singing voice is so high when his talking voice is so low??

@waybexxx Not sure what you mean "believed". It's actually Paul McCartney on the track.
