Hitler established cradle-to-grave care for the German people. He confiscated the private property of Jewish citizens and political opponents, and redistributed it among the German people. Even if he wasn't eventually crushed by the Allies, the socialist system that he set up would have eventually been economically unsustainable. Leftist torture the historical record to try to "prove" that Hitler wasn't a leftist, but the facts are the facts.
The international jew is laughing at all these stupid goyim. Create division, fake two sides of every issue, deceive, make them slaves. Now look who runs the country. All international jews. Kissinger, Chertoff, Pearle, Silverman, Emmanuel, Geithner, Bernanke, Paulson, Volcker, Greenspan, Baruch, Kristol and the list is endless. No coincidence these khazar jews destroyed germany and russia through usury banking and war. Lies issue from their mouths like honey. You are goyim, animals to them. YOU
@angstotheclown Excuse me but I think your swastika is showing.
Destroyed Germany?Last I knew Germany is right where it always was.Of course according to you,now that they killed many Jews as they could find it's improved some(here's a quiz for you, which had higher priority?A:Trains carrying munitions and troops to the front in WWII. or B: Trains carrying Jews to the Vernichtungs Lager at Auschwitz?
The correct answer is B and that is one reason the Nazis lost the war(thank goodness)
@godscuttingyoudown The founders of The United States of America called them "Truths" that were "self evident". TRUTHS. Being destroyed by insatiable jew bankers, moneylenders and thieves.
Your tax money is given everyday to foreign nation also. So you should also keep this in mind if you should ever loose your job, your kids need grants to pay for school, you should recive none of it... because my money pays for that too
This guy is looooooong overdue for retirement. He stopped representing the people about 20 years ago. He even intends to retire on the east coast....hasn't lived in Washington for over 30 years.
Let's grow up and give him his walking papers this November.
Seems like there are just as many poor, helpless people that are in need of pap smears, breast exams, birth control (so as not to repeat the cycle they were born into) and general care; as there are rich people who could care less about giving up their mocha lattes on their way to work and hair and nail expenditures to feel pretty.
I believe that in order for it to be socialism, it requires NO voice from the people. In this case, I hear plenty of children everyday crying for help.
I am amazed at how quick the majority of people who support this woman are to ( including her) pretend they understand Marxism. My bet is almost every single one of you who posted in favor for this pathetic stunt she pulled have no idea what socialism is. I am not in favor of Obamas health care reform. He is not a socialist....I seriously suggest you people pick up a book ( not written by ann coulter) and look at what marxism is. You just make your self look foolish when you
Come to debates armed with your capitalist ideology and lacking serious understanding of what Socialism is. Please, I honestly beg of you..if anything for the simple fact that I hate feeling embarrassed for other people your political views please please know what the fuck Marxism is and stop looking like a bunch of petty opportunistic fools, trying to jack off your " patriotic egos" by slamming it. Just remember the lube your all using comes from the blood of the innocent.
@MrSoldmysoul I read Das Capital....I believe we can agree that's "Marxism"
My conclusion....he was a sick, pathetic, evil little man who was a radical Malthusian at heart and somehow managed to metastasize the whole eugenics, anti-semitic, racist rants of that century into one hateful, anti-social diatribe.
I highly recommend everyone read it...as well as Mein Kampf (which paraphrased much of the original work by Marx). Please read both and learn what drivel has been elevated to "wisdom."
@barbarianopinion Mein Kampf never paraphrased anything from Das Kapital(capital in English,no article) and Marx was an intelligent fellow who pointed out the historical rise of capitalism, critiqued its short commings and predicted the historical rise of some other form of social and economic system.
Nazism and Nazis,Hitler not least of all hated socialism and Communism. After seizing power one of the first things they did was to outlaw social democratic parties.
@johndgray1 Hitler headed one of the Socialist Workers parties in Germany, the particular party was a "nationalist socialist" party which put them to the "right" of the internationalist communist parties they competed with. They were all marxists. Hitler's "hatred" of communists was a tool to power...nothing more and nothing less.
If you find Marx's rantings the sign of an "intelligent" fellow, I feel somewhat sorry for you. If you excuse his racial rants you are lacking in character as well.
@barbarianopinion MArx was extremely intelligent and Hitler never paraphrased or borrowed any ideas from Marx.
Hitler and the rest of his gang of thugs were always talking about "Jewish Bolshevism" and had an almost pathological hatred of Communism. You should really try to educate yourself sometime, but for a wingnut conservative Tea-Bagger/Palinite that would be asking too much.
@johndgray1 I would suggest you actually read Marx and Hitler, with an open mind (if that's possible) instead of drinking the kool-aid. Both men had a weird sort of "intelligence"...but not in connection with reality and certainly not of social acceptibility. Both were hate-filled and sociopathetic to the extreme. I would suggest you start with a landmark book titled "The Dictators" which is a comparative analysis between the Hitler and Stalin regimes. Then a collection of Marx's articles.
@barbarianopinion I have read Marx and Engle's "Communist Manifesto" never was really interested in reading "Mein Kampf" for it is said that intelligent people feel their IQ dropping as they try to slog through the leaden prose.
As the author of "The Manchurian Candidate" pointed out in an commentary on his work the extreme right and the extreme left tend to resemble each other in tactics. This is why Stalin and Hitler do tend to resemble the other, but it does not mean that Hitler was a Communist
@johndgray1 If you truly feel that reading reduces IQ...well, that explains a lot. Obviously...you don't even read my comments before replying, or you read with the same comprehension you seem to have for all else.
I never stated Hitler was a communist...he was a Marxist, and a socialist...also a animal rights advocate, a radical environmentalist, and a vegetarian....sounds a lot like socialists today. You have been told not to read him, because you might discover how similar to Marx he was.
@barbarianopinion Hitler was not a Marxist or a socialist.Reading the turgid, leaden prose of Mein Kampf does tend to make one feel as if your I.Q. has dropped, neither Hitler nor Hess who served as Hitler's secretary during their incarceration in Landsberg prison had a very good education.
So Hitler was a vegetarian and this proves what?(none of your other statements about the Fuhrer cna be backed up with any solid evidence).
So Hitler was a vegetarian and this proves what?(none of your other statements about the Fuhrer can be backed up with any solid evidence).
@johndgray1 My statements re Hitler are simple historical facts...they are not argued except by fanatics who still buy into the Hitler cult. If you actually read Hitlers works, then Marx's, you will understand they were similar anti-social, and psychotic, personalities. Marxism is a simple personality cult, and cult members are unable to differentiate between myth and reality (or obviously they wouldn't be members) and morally challenged, as they rationalize the evils of the cult figurehead.
@barbarianopinion No Hitler was not a Marxist. He did love his dog,as for other animals no evidence he was a love of animals in general.Environmentalist? No proof of that anywhere in the historical record.
Sorry wrong on a t least two counts.
Marxism a cult of personality?Hardly,Marxism is about who Marx was or what works he accomplished, but about his critique of capitalism and the idea that historically something will replace it.
@johndgray1 Sigh....I give up...if you refuse to read Hitler's books and articles, and the numerous history studies made of him...of course you can't accept the truth. He was not only an environmentalist, he was a radical environmentalist and many of his writings were about the issue. He wrote about the nobility of animals and their "superiority" to humans etc... Why do these facts upset you? Why not read and discover for yourself...oh, that's right...it would upset your "reality".
@barbarianopinion I'm sorry you're wrong.Hitler was not a Marxist. He never cribbed from Marx.He wasn't a Socialist,I mean you are hardly one to talk about refusing to accept the truth.
Hitler wrote "Mein Kampf" never wrote any articles in a newspaper or any journal of record(academic or popular)
he loved his dog and he was a vegetarian, but there is no evidence to suggest he was an environmentalist.
His writings?Other than Mein Kampf he wrote one other book(the Zweites Buch published 1st in 1961)
@johndgray1 Actually dimwit...and I have to resort to the obvious label...Hitler was published hundreds of times in magazines and political newspapers. All of which are on record. He was head of the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany...sounds Socialist to me. He wrote extensively on the responsibility of the true Aryan Socialist man and woman and their responsibility to the environment of the Father land etc. Your ignorance is only bested by your refusal to debate intelligently.
@barbarianopinion All right, name the publications his works appeared in.I'm fairly certain the the Volkischer Beobachter or Die Sturmer were not the only papers in existence from 1933-1945.
I notice that you've changed your claim ever so slightly now.Instead of saying that Hitlers writings, his works were published now you claim that his words were published.Nice try-Hitler only published" Mein Kampf" during his lifetime. He made no other writing's except for the "Zweites Buch".
@barbarianopinion Sorry dipshit, but I've called you out proven you wrong and you refuse to face reality.Hitler was not a Marxist, not a Socialist. He didn't publish anything besides" Mein Kampf".He also redefined socialism to essentially say that militarism and nationalism were socialism.
I know facts are difficult for you to accept and you have a hard time staying in touch with reality, but you're wrong.
@johndgray1 If you had bothered to actually read Mein Kampf, you'd see that he also had an intense hatred of free markets and conservatives. It's online - go look it up. I'll wait.
@MrSoldmysoul I suggest you take a look at the real political spectrum and not the one brainwashed into your dumbed down brain (i dont mean that malicously either). You are asleep just like most other's, sheeple poor sheeple being led to the slaughter. WAKE UP If you are interested in getting educated and maybe start to wake up, here is a start ---> youtube.com/watch?v=ODJfwa9XKZQ Now, I gave you a key and its up to you to do the rest. There is more to whats going on then you think..
They are under educated wards of the State. Weaned on intitlements they drink Pelosi, they eat BillAyers, they worship Ward Churchill, and the demigods of communism and Marxism.
They will cry in the face of reality when they run out of our money and Obama's hopeless change comes to their home breaking down their door to demand payment...
@johndgray1 How about the 10th Amendment? The one that says everything not specifically assigned to the federal government is the right of the states. Also the 9th - which addresses rights of individuals on issues not specifically addressed in the Constitution.
The fact that you even asked that question means you've NEVER actually read anything about the history constitution that isn't on the internet. Of course, socialists prefer it that way - makes it easy to rewrite history.
@duncanhunter2008 I guess a Federal minimum wage is unconstitutional then, because the Constitution does not give the Federal government the right to set wages(not mentioned anywhere in the text),also Federal highways would be unconstitutional because they aren't specifically mentioned either.Hours of service laws,Social Security,Medicare,Medicaid too.
As for the Tenth Amendment, what it really says is just because a right isn't listed in the Bill of Rights doesn't mean it doesn't exist..
@johndgray1 You're confusing the 9th with the 10th there, sport. You might want to read Article I, Section 8 while you're out there, too. And you know what? I don't even have to look that stuff up.
@duncanhunter2008 I sure you're a big fan of the three fifths clause too and no doubt you stand ready to defend America against any encroachment on the Third Amendment.
HSA expenditures count against the deductible. That's the whole point. Health Savings Account - get it? You save money, and spend it if you need it. Carrying a high deductible cuts out the middle man, and saves everybody money.
I don't want you to pay for my stuff. I don't want to pay for your stuff. That's the American way. We help each other voluntarily, not send in armed thugs to take money away from workers and gift corporations.
@Darusdei Actually, it's exactly the way society works. The free market is continually correcting the malinvestments caused by those that confuse feeling with thinking.
@duncanhunter2008 Yeah, the free market has worked so well recently.Just look at the rise in GDP since 2007 and the rise in home values and the stock market. No if we just leave the free market alone it will work miracles and make everybody rich!Just don't invest in Lehman Brothers,Enron,WaMu or any other stock, unless you really want to go broke.
@johndgray1 That wasn't the free market - that was the heavy hand of the government, who decided to keep interest rates artificially low while simultaneously guaranteeing every garbage loan K- Street could turn out.
Nobody says the free market will make everybody rich. That's just stupid. But in a free market, there are much less poor people. Look at Hong King - one of the freest markets in the world today. They're not in a recession , and they don't even have any natural resources.
@duncanhunter2008 Oh please the recent financial meltdown was the culmination of conservative ideas about not regulating markets and letting markets run wild. The Federal Reserve is hardly an example of heavy handed government with big bankers being its clients and running the show.
Hong Kong is linked to the Chinese Communist Party's economic policies and is hardly an example of a free market.Wages are kept low by the government, the currency is manipulated by the government, labor unions banned.
@duncanhunter2008 Yeah a Health Savings Account.Works great if you have any money left over at the end of the month to put into an HSA,otherwise you're just screwed and if you get sick, well hope you die quick.
@johndgray1 It's non-taxable income. So those of us that actually understand money can set aside the contribution and not lose a dime in our take home pay. Really, it's the fault of people who think like you that so many people are poor.
@duncanhunter2008 Like I say works great if your wages are high enough to allow you any money left over to save.Except for that little caveat HSA's are a great idea, which we already have and which haven't worked.
@johndgray1 Like I said - they're tax deductible. Anybody who isn't stupid can set aside pre-tax income so their take home pay isn't even affected.
They work exceptionally well, that's why they were starting to become more popular until the government decided to "help." Let me ask you this - have you ever taken an economics class? Because I'd like you to ask you what happens to price when demand goes up?
@duncanhunter2008 Like I said, some people's wages don't allow for savings. We've had them for years and they haven't controlled the rise in health care costs.Real world data showing they don't work.
@duncanhunter2008 Yeah, that must be why poverty increased under Raygun,Bush 1 and Shrub and fell under every Democrat.
"If you want to live like a Republican, vote for A Democrat." Harry Truman.
You still haven't answered about the Constitutionality of minimum wage laws etc.Trying desperately to ignore the question doesn't make it go away. How are they constitutional, since the Constitution doesn't explicitly give the Federal government the right to set wages or to tax people for a pension program
@johndgray1 - The federal minimum wage laws aren't constitutional, for the very reason you cited. The Constitution clearly assigns that right to the states. Social Security-type schemes were repeatedly rejected by SCOTUS as unconstitutional, and this one was originally facing extinction until FDR bullies and blackmailed the court. The judge who caved to the pressure openly regretted it, called the worst decision of his life and a betrayal to his country.
@johndgray1 Poverty increased under Reagan? Really? I am guessing you're assuming I'm not old enough to remember the Carter era? Copy and paste this into Google - Cato "There Krugman Goes Again" - Bush I raised taxes, so of course people got poorer. Clinton slashed social spending, cut taxes, had a Republican House and Senate, but he signed NAFTA, raided Social Security to claim his budget was balanced, and also left the country with the dot-com bubble.
@duncanhunter2008 I remember Jimmy very well, actually.A good man and history will treat him well.Unlike Reagan he didn't lie every time he opened his mouth. The budget deficit was smaller in real terms under Carter than Reagan and he started the rearmament that Reagan that ballooned out of proportion and that led to thousand dollar hammers and the like.
Clinton not only balanced the budget he ran an actual surplus and her didn't raid S.S. The Treasury actually retired U.S debt under Clinton.
@duncanhunter2008 I don't want to pay taxes to support the right wing agenda, but I had to suffer through eight years of Shrubism and income transfer to the wealthy.
I believe that government has some obligation to protect it's most vulnerable citizens, even if you think that they should starve or die from sickness.
I'm sure you consider yourself a" compassionate conservative",but the full depths of compassionate conservatism was on display during hurricane Katrina, when New Orleans drowned.
@johndgray1 I worked recovery in both Katrina & Ivan (hit Pensacola 2 yrs prior). I saw different types of people suffer. Worked streets w/$15k homes & those w/$5ml homes. I noticed a trend: In areas consisting of mostly welfare recipients, saw folks waiting on others to come do something. Conversely, in upscale neighborhoods, met wealthy folks in their yards working, not waiting on others to come clean up. I learned there are those that work & reap the fruits, & those that refuse to work.
@ascender555 Well,I worked Katrina and I saw many different people wiped out.Of course it would take a "compassionate conservative" to somehow suggest that the old,the disabled, the sick should just raise themselves up b y the bootstraps if only they would quit being too damn lazy and shiftless.
The poor never left New Orleans, they couldn't.The wealthy left and then came back and called their insurance agent, then they hit up the government for food and water.
@johndgray1 Stop with the Bush nonsense already. If the people of New Orleans had not depended on Washington DC to help them, they'd be all fixed up by now. It's what insurance is for, after all. Instead, they're still sucking at the teat of an already bankrupt nation.
@duncanhunter2008 Flooding isn't covered by standard homeowners insurance and some people are too poor to afford a separate policy.Perhaps you should try knowing what you are talking about instead of displaying your vast ignorance.
Some people think we have an obligation to the poor, the elderly, the sick and the disabled but of course you see them as sucking on the government teat.
@johndgray1 Perhaps people who can't afford flood insurance shouldn't live in flood zones then. Duh.
I certainly believe we have an obligation to help the less fortunate, but I don't believe it's the proper role of government. I don't understand why liberals get so incensed when the government tries to impose certain morals, but screams that it must enforce other morals.
Using the unwilling labor of others to support YOUR social goals is a form of slavery, no matter how noble your goals.
@duncanhunter2008 The whole city of New Orleans is a flood zone.It is below sea level and bounded by the Mississippi river, which has been a Federal responsibility since before the Civil War.
Promoting the genral welfare and regulating interstate commerce are also Federal roles, thus making Social Security and minimum wage laws constitutional.
FDR didn't bully the Supreme Court;hi idea of putting more justices on the Court was wildly unpopular and cost him a great deal of political capital.
@duncanhunter2008 That might work if some folks had money to save. We've had HSA's since Shrub seized power in 2000,hasn't done anything to slow the cost of health care and hasn't done anything for those who can't afford insurance.
SCHIP is bullshit - government money drives the costs up. It only rpoves that no matter how much we give to you, you won't be happy until the country is sucked dry.
Which, by the way, is soon. We're bankrupt, Medicare is scheduled to go under in 2016. SS is underwater now, 4 years ahead of schedule.
You and yours aren't very good with money, That's obvious is so many ways.....
@duncanhunter2008 We wouldn't be bankrupt if it hadn't been for Shrubs tax cuts for the wealthy while he fought two wars.If we had stuck to the tax rates under Clinton, the U.S would be running a surplus right now.
However Paris Hilton needed that tax cut so she could jet around the world and not earn a living.
@johndgray1 Enough with the Bush stuff. If Clinton hadn't bombed Iraq every day for 7 years, maybe 9/11 wouldn't have happened.
Every time you liberal loonies decide the government is better with money than the markets are, it's only a matter of time until whatever good deed you intended becomes bloated, full of fraud, and inefficient. If you want a guy like Jim DeMint to handle your health care in the future, then by all means, keep voting away your responsibilities.
@duncanhunter2008 Well Clinton did pay attention during his intelligence briefings and did try to kill Bin laden.Unlike Shrub who was more concerned about tax cuts for the wealthy and who didn't want to "swat flies".
You know there were better literacy rates before the schools were public?
Did you know that the first roads were private, and that it was the corporate automobile lobbyists that wanted federal road funding, because they didn't want the responsibility of providing people a place to drive the cars they wanted to sell?
I didn't think so. You just figure you're entitled to these things, when in fact, you're both a corporate and a government tool.
If you will just give me back, in one lump sum, what I already paid into SS / Medicare, and not force me to pay into it any farther, I'll gladly opt out of both.
A familu that has a child with leukemia has a disease that would be covered by a major medical policy. That's how HSAs work, Einstein. We pay $13 cash for the office visits that cost insurance companies $180. Insurance only kicks in when something major happens.
Besides, we have SCHIP plus a myriad of state programs for kids.
I wish the government would mandate that everybody consult an accountant! I'd raise my prices with all that new demand!
You remember what the credit card companies did when the Democrats gave them six months prior to capping rates? Wait until you see what the health insurance companies do preparing for all the deadbeats headed their way.
@brabon1 Bullshit because they help people assume responsibility for their own costs? Bullshit because they apply downward pressure to the economic price model of the market?
Or bullshit because you have to actually contribute something to them?
Last year I had lasik surgery, and we paid cash for my son's braces using our HSA funds at the end of the year. Sorry if it upsets you to see me taking care of my kids instead of yours. I guess it makes you look bad to your kids though.
I felt better about fighting the insurance companies when I had the chance to stay the hell away from them for everything except major medical issues, with my HSA account.
Who's the tool here? I mean, I'm not the one forcing you into bed with the enemy.
We wish you'd leave the country We're the ones that were happy being free and independent, while you'r miserable butts aren't ever happy with anything that involves personal responsibility. If we leave, who are you going to enslave next?
The federal government has no right to mandate purchase of any good or service as a requirement of citizenship. Obamacare is entirely unconstitutional and tyrannical. America will rejoice when it is overturned.
I am an educated American. I am sick of tyrannical Democrats striving to steal more and more of our rights. If you don't understand me, you don't understand America.
My comment that got cut off was, where in the Constitution is income taxes mandated? I am curious about your response since you are a constitutional expert and all.
Who said more taxes? Talk about ignorant. The debate is more about not raising taxes and hopefully lowering them. Clearly the US government (and government in all forms) is wasteful and inefficient.
Doesn't America have enough taxation at all levels of government? Do Americans really want to raise them higher?
Truth is, the Republicans did squander their right to claim moral financial supremacy as Bush Jr. bloated government, way beyond the excesses of the Clinton years. Obama is merely the extreme extension of this default position towards wasteful government spending. Obama (and hard core Dems) actually believed they had a mandate to introduce socialism and they have clearly been proven wrong.
Today is merely a replay of the 70s, and Obama is a Neo-Carter. The question is: Where is the Neo-Reagan?
When these Palin types start complaining about 900 BILLION dollars a year being flushed down the toilet for unnecessary wars, occupations and giveaways to weapons manufacturers, then I'll start believing that they care about our money being "taken away" and wasted by the government.
Asked by an interviewer how she would cut the deficit, her response was:
Well. Lets see. Some days Im very Randian. I feel like there shouldnt be any of those programs, that it should all be charitable organizations. Sometimes I think, well, maybe it really should be just state, and there should be no federal part in it at all. I bounce around in my solutions to the problem.
Awesome. Light on substance, indecisive and idealistic. Sound like someone else? Oh yeah, Sarah Palin.
Danmol: "The surplus came from cutting spending & allowing the American Entrepreneur to create jobs..."
oh really? we're talking about the Clinton surplus here... so you're saying Clinton cut spending? um, nope, he didn't. His approach was to increase spending on programs to lift people out of poverty, thereby increasing revenue thru new workers becoming taxpayers. It worked.
You guys can argue tax cuts til doomsday, but your math doesn't add up... sorry...
After President Bush signed his tax cuts into law tax revenue went up. Lifting people out of poverty does not create jobs. Social programs send the message that poverty is ok. Social programs have never created one good paying job. They're just a way for liberals to live out their feelings.
Yes the math does. Clinton's budget was a $1trillion less than Bush & almost $2trillion less than Obama's. After President Bush signed his tax cuts into law, tax revenues increased to a level above than what he got from Bill Clinton. Clinton deregulated the business environment & let people create jobs that's called America.
Even though our lying republican governer claims to have turned down stimulas money you can see that the state of Texas has taken billions and savd jobs. News papers across the U.S. are calling bullshit on all the republicans who voted against the stimulas then begged for the money, showing up for ribbon cutting at stimulas funded jobs and claiming to their locals that hey look I got money to create more jobs without saying where the money came from. Lying bastards every last one of them.
Agreed. The health care bill as it stands is nothi9ng but simple redistribution of wealth. Yes, it takes care of the poor, but at the cost of damaging the entire overall American economy. If someone thinks that is a fair trade off and America should bloat inefficient, ineffective and expensive government, then so be it. The race to mediocrity and the poor house is on.....
... did anybody else notice that when she said "so here is my question" she never actually posed a question just told them that if they, the congressmen, believe that they should forcibly take money from one person and use it to help another person deemed needier than others and that it is moral to do so than they should take her money and use it as a "down payment" towards the health care plan.
herbs: "CEOs are always more trustworthy than government."
just one more thing: I worked for the Corps of Engineers during the Gulf war in 90/91. I now work for a defense contractor, we've done about $180 million in Iraq and Afghanistan. If you think private contractors are more efficient than the Gov't in all cases, I submit that you just don't have experience to know what you're talking about. My Co. has pocketed tens of millions in change-orders (do-overs). YOUR money my friend.
most people will never use a fire dept; to conservatives, is taxing people for services like fire departments equivalent to theft? really?
This isn't "socialism" - that would require the govt owning hospitals, paying doctors, making medicines, etc. All of which no one is proposing. This should be about fixing the system, not bogeyman words that are not even applicable to the situation. Next time someone tells you the the new public option is socialism, ask them how they feel about firemen.
herbs814, you should be very proud. The profound absurdity you have displayed in your statements has inspired me to create a youtube account for the very first time. I'd like you to know that in no other comment-war I have ever read on youtube have I found thoughts so unrefined, so obviously regurgitated, so far from the truth; displayed as if to mock reality itself, as well as any personal responsibility to think for oneself.
You have no idea what capitalism or socialism are, nor any idea what their differing benefits and drawbacks are. Yours is a fleeting dream-world of opposites, in which a capitalist CEO Jesus in a Ford leads the armies of Christendom against an equally fantastic and ill-defined conglomeration of things you have been told are evil: Socialism, big government, higher taxes, and foreigners such as 'them Ruskies, them chinamen, them towel-heads,' etc. etc.
I love your diatribe, AntiHerbs if only because of your ironic hypocrisy of telling Herbs not to deal in black and white, and then you do the same damn thing. Hello Pot, meet Mr. Kettle. Nice work.
I fail to see how my (admittedly over-the-top) diatribe deals in black and white. I am not presenting myself as his opposite, nor am I a democrat. The democrats have been remarkably inept for the past decade. I am merely railing against the way our misleading media and those interests who control it have corrupted Americans' world-view. Democracy can't survive if its people aren't educated, and I'm not saying he should agree with me: he should just give it some thought.
@herbs814 - socialism in thoery is suppose to be better than capitilism, but in practice it never works out, there is alwase corruption and socialism fails, capitalism isnt perfect but at least it stands the test of time. no socialist government has gone without problems and revolutions.
You are the realization of every propagandist's dream, and for that I applaud you. You do not ask why. You do not explain your reasoning, for indeed there is none; you merely state. You are a profoundly fearful person, trained to be fearful, for fear is the best way to control people, and you in turn spread fear like a disease with your fire-and-brimstone language.
I severely suggest that you stop thinking of the world in terms of black and white, because it isn't: it's a LOT more complicated than that. The true traitor to America is the person who ceases to question, because he desecrates the soil from which true democracy grows. Baa Baa
The CEO of Aetna "earns" 3.4 million, ALL FROM INSURANCE PREMIUMS PAID BY YOU AND ME. Meanwhile, they fail to fully pay for your meds, deny your claims, kick you out for pre-existing things like being pregnant...
but this system is so great, we shouldn't even consider an approach that just about EVERY OTHER MODERN COUNTRY uses? No, these CEOs NEED a piece of our money, because it's so American or something... wtf ?
herbs: "CEOs are always more trustworthy than government."
Enron. World Com. Tyco. Goldman Sachs. Bear Stearns. Merrill Lynch. to name but a few...
Each of these took money from a lot of people, the CEO's walked away with more money (other people's money) than you or I will ever see in our lifetimes...
certain things we all agree are either too important, or don't lend themselves to profit-taking, to be left in private control. Examples: police, fire, the military, highway system, FDA, schools, etc.
Health insurance should fall into this catagory, but for some reason, conservatives see this as some huge attack on freedom. I don't get that.
ok, so you hate the public option... well, what is the conservative solution to the rising costs of health? dial tone...
Hey, was that the congressman from the district she lives in? I read a report that says it wasn't. Where's the tape where she talks back to her own congressional representative?
Or when they started two wars with no idea how to pay for them or Medicare part D you know Keli Carender, one of those decisions made by the government for the people without asking, where was the complaining then?1.2 trillion dollar debt, expected when paid for to cost about 8 billion. Where the he'll where the tea baggers then.
Oh please! People are reaching their breaking point TODAY. Who cares if it took 10, 20, 30 years. Nice how you frame everything in an evil Republican light, like the Dems weren't along for the ride the whole time. Everyone was getting their bread buttered during the Bush years, Dems and Repubs alike. And for you to not say anything about the debt Obama has rung up it in 2009, whatever. I don't care though, the more people that get involved and voice their opinion the better.
The spending being done now has the backing of economist who say had it not been done the recession would have been much worse but I don't expect republicans to admit to that. When the private sect. stops spending government has to. Like the pres. said all the republicans where against the stim. package but they sure showed up for ribbon cutting on those projects. Obama said it best they had their cake and voted against it too.
The president wasn't a black man then and that's all you have to know about it. Any logical investigation into their issues founders on their incoherence and basic dishonesty. Obama's policies are so close to Bush's they might as well have campaigned holding hands.
This is the hypocracy of the republican party. They are screaming about things that where occuring under the bush addmin. And yet never made a complaint until now. If ur truly concerned about ur freedom you should have started this movement when the conservatives pushed the patriot act..cont.
@momentofnonsensetx - Why did you assclowns stop!! And for you info Obamageddon along with all the asspuppets voted for that 1.2 million your so proud to blame someone else for!! what about the patriot act and HLS?? Obamageddon didn't repeal them! he furthered there intrusive powers!!! but you all stopped bitching about that, why?? and when Bush's approval rating tanked, you meatheads want to take all the credit?? we were complaining then just like we are now, you're just to stupid realize that.
Mrcharliebob it would be nice if it was only 1.2 million but its 1.2 trillion. When Bush took office we had a surplus, of coarse you never give the dems credit for that, now you guys have spent our childrens future and you know it. Name the last time a republican pres. had the country in a surplus?
"If you have a machine, you know exactly how to attack it, exactly how to shut it down," Carender says. "If you have 3 million machines coming at you, you don't know where to turn."
Brilliant.Americans cannot be harnessed like some horse.Thats for countries like Iran,or North Korea.

Figures. She's a FAT WHITE chick bitching and moaning about those "welfare people" in front of a crowd of more fat white people in the whitest corner of the country. Do you think all of those seniors are going to give up their SOCIALIST Medicare and Social Security benefits; not a chance in heck. These people are idiots trying to paper over their racism.
@Pangolinx1 wow, that's a great argument. Fat white people (esp. women) should NOT be allowed to voice their opinions in public! In all seriousness though, is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?
I love the conservative mystery that tells them they can have a government that protects them but somehow not pay taxes. They are like spoiled little children upset that they have to share the cake on their birthday. Never mind you ate everybody else's cake before this.
@Pangolinx1 well I love the liberal mystery that tells them that tolerance is like a buffet line, pick and choose...any who, I don't think we argue against taxes, where did you hear this? There's a general concensus among conservatives and libertarians that a sales tax is more appropriate than an income tax. Forgive me if I'm wrong but I assume you're pro-choice...so how can you be against a tax that you choose to pay? Pay when you buy! Be heard, not herded! baaa, baaa
I love the liberal philosophy, that tells them its OK to take money from someone else that earned it from working hard, and give it to someone who won't work at all, unless you call sitting on ass, smoking dope all the live long day and contemplating there fucking naval!.. WORK!!!!!!!
Blue states pay taxes. Red states live on Federal Gov't welfare. Look it up asshat. If California cut you bastards off you'd be like the 'Stans in the FSU.
IS IT TIME?! Go to USRevolution2 (dot com) and get your flag of the Second American Revolution. They were all over the crowd in the Scott Brown Rally. They are made in America and look exactly like the flag of Betsy Ross with a Roman numeral II in the center of the 13 stars. This flag is now in all 50 states and spreading from porch to porch. They make great gifts for family, friends and recovering Liberals.
"forcibly take from one person and give to another..."
you mean like, they way ordinary taxes work? the way we, as a democracy, run our Gov't and have been running it from day one?
We agree to pay taxes so we can have the run Gov't run the military, interstate highways, food safety and a thousand other things. Why does the idea of Gov't managing health INSURANCE (not health CARE) suddenly become theft?
Gov't is not the enemy; BAD Gov't is... inefficient Gov't is... IMHO
Income taxes are evil. The govt has no right to be involved in healthcare at all. Anything that is not explicitly a power of the federal government (like healthcare) is FORBIDDEN to the federal government. When the government presumes to have the power to regulate or redistribute health insurance, the government is violating this sacred agreement. And if the government does not renounce any and all such efforts, "it is the right of the people to alter or abolish" the government.
why are several of you guys talking about income tax? I said Gov't is run on taxes, based on it's right to tax under the constitution.
There is also nothing in the Const about
fire departments, libraries, police departments, the school system, the national weather service, national parks system, national highway system, or the FDA. According to yr logic, fire protection is not explicitly in the Constitution, therefore it should be left to private business? seem a good idea to you?
Taxes: All taxes should be based on sales, NEVER on income or property.
The federal government has NO RIGHT to be involved in education, STEALING land for "national parks", "national highway system", or "national weather service". And the FDA is a corrupt organization that should absolutely be abolished.
Anything that is not explicitly authorized in the Constitution as a power of the federal government should absolutely be returned to its proper place: the PRIVATE sector.
herbs, I appreciate you stating your position without insults. But do you really think there is no such thing as community? Have you ever been to a country with no national parks, or without an EPA? trying breathing in Mexico City, Bangkok, Jakarta; you'll get some heaping black lungs full of free-market concern for air quality.
so do you really think fire depts and the police should be privatized? I find that completely silly, but you tell me how that would work, in your opinion.
Capitalism is what cleans the environment. Socialism does nothing but subject people to misery, poverty, and pollution. Capitalism, not government, is the best friend of the planet.
herbs814 there are many good things about capitalism but unretraint it does no such thing to clean the environment. Look at Centralia Pennsylvania a town destroyed from underground coal fires starting in the 1960's, or the major clean up in El Paso from 100 years of pollution from a Smelting and Refining Company. TXI concrete in Midlothian, Texas that would rather pay the daily fines for pollution than have scrubbers on their stacks....cont'
All technologies and resources with which to clean the environment are thanks to capitalism. All improvements to the environment are thanks to capitalism.

The correct answer is B and that is one reason the Nazis lost the war(thank goodness)

MrSoldmysoul 1 year ago
@MrSoldmysoul I read Das Capital....I believe we can agree that's "Marxism"
My conclusion....he was a sick, pathetic, evil little man who was a radical Malthusian at heart and somehow managed to metastasize the whole eugenics, anti-semitic, racist rants of that century into one hateful, anti-social diatribe.
I highly recommend everyone read it...as well as Mein Kampf (which paraphrased much of the original work by Marx). Please read both and learn what drivel has been elevated to "wisdom."
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion Mein Kampf never paraphrased anything from Das Kapital(capital in English,no article) and Marx was an intelligent fellow who pointed out the historical rise of capitalism, critiqued its short commings and predicted the historical rise of some other form of social and economic system.
Nazism and Nazis,Hitler not least of all hated socialism and Communism. After seizing power one of the first things they did was to outlaw social democratic parties.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Hitler headed one of the Socialist Workers parties in Germany, the particular party was a "nationalist socialist" party which put them to the "right" of the internationalist communist parties they competed with. They were all marxists. Hitler's "hatred" of communists was a tool to power...nothing more and nothing less.
If you find Marx's rantings the sign of an "intelligent" fellow, I feel somewhat sorry for you. If you excuse his racial rants you are lacking in character as well.
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion MArx was extremely intelligent and Hitler never paraphrased or borrowed any ideas from Marx.
Hitler and the rest of his gang of thugs were always talking about "Jewish Bolshevism" and had an almost pathological hatred of Communism. You should really try to educate yourself sometime, but for a wingnut conservative Tea-Bagger/Palinite that would be asking too much.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 I would suggest you actually read Marx and Hitler, with an open mind (if that's possible) instead of drinking the kool-aid. Both men had a weird sort of "intelligence"...but not in connection with reality and certainly not of social acceptibility. Both were hate-filled and sociopathetic to the extreme. I would suggest you start with a landmark book titled "The Dictators" which is a comparative analysis between the Hitler and Stalin regimes. Then a collection of Marx's articles.
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion I have read Marx and Engle's "Communist Manifesto" never was really interested in reading "Mein Kampf" for it is said that intelligent people feel their IQ dropping as they try to slog through the leaden prose.
As the author of "The Manchurian Candidate" pointed out in an commentary on his work the extreme right and the extreme left tend to resemble each other in tactics. This is why Stalin and Hitler do tend to resemble the other, but it does not mean that Hitler was a Communist
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 One can certainly understand why you would be worried about an IQ drop.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@johndgray1 If you truly feel that reading reduces IQ...well, that explains a lot. Obviously...you don't even read my comments before replying, or you read with the same comprehension you seem to have for all else.
I never stated Hitler was a communist...he was a Marxist, and a socialist...also a animal rights advocate, a radical environmentalist, and a vegetarian....sounds a lot like socialists today. You have been told not to read him, because you might discover how similar to Marx he was.
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion Hitler was not a Marxist or a socialist.Reading the turgid, leaden prose of Mein Kampf does tend to make one feel as if your I.Q. has dropped, neither Hitler nor Hess who served as Hitler's secretary during their incarceration in Landsberg prison had a very good education.
So Hitler was a vegetarian and this proves what?(none of your other statements about the Fuhrer cna be backed up with any solid evidence).

johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 My statements re Hitler are simple historical facts...they are not argued except by fanatics who still buy into the Hitler cult. If you actually read Hitlers works, then Marx's, you will understand they were similar anti-social, and psychotic, personalities. Marxism is a simple personality cult, and cult members are unable to differentiate between myth and reality (or obviously they wouldn't be members) and morally challenged, as they rationalize the evils of the cult figurehead.
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion No Hitler was not a Marxist. He did love his dog,as for other animals no evidence he was a love of animals in general.Environmentalist? No proof of that anywhere in the historical record.
Sorry wrong on a t least two counts.
Marxism a cult of personality?Hardly,Marxism is about who Marx was or what works he accomplished, but about his critique of capitalism and the idea that historically something will replace it.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Sigh....I give up...if you refuse to read Hitler's books and articles, and the numerous history studies made of him...of course you can't accept the truth. He was not only an environmentalist, he was a radical environmentalist and many of his writings were about the issue. He wrote about the nobility of animals and their "superiority" to humans etc... Why do these facts upset you? Why not read and discover for yourself...oh, that's right...it would upset your "reality".
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion I'm sorry you're wrong.Hitler was not a Marxist. He never cribbed from Marx.He wasn't a Socialist,I mean you are hardly one to talk about refusing to accept the truth.
Hitler wrote "Mein Kampf" never wrote any articles in a newspaper or any journal of record(academic or popular)
he loved his dog and he was a vegetarian, but there is no evidence to suggest he was an environmentalist.
His writings?Other than Mein Kampf he wrote one other book(the Zweites Buch published 1st in 1961)
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Actually dimwit...and I have to resort to the obvious label...Hitler was published hundreds of times in magazines and political newspapers. All of which are on record. He was head of the National Socialist Workers Party of Germany...sounds Socialist to me. He wrote extensively on the responsibility of the true Aryan Socialist man and woman and their responsibility to the environment of the Father land etc. Your ignorance is only bested by your refusal to debate intelligently.
barbarianopinion 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion All right, name the publications his works appeared in.I'm fairly certain the the Volkischer Beobachter or Die Sturmer were not the only papers in existence from 1933-1945.
I notice that you've changed your claim ever so slightly now.Instead of saying that Hitlers writings, his works were published now you claim that his words were published.Nice try-Hitler only published" Mein Kampf" during his lifetime. He made no other writing's except for the "Zweites Buch".
johndgray1 1 year ago
@barbarianopinion Sorry dipshit, but I've called you out proven you wrong and you refuse to face reality.Hitler was not a Marxist, not a Socialist. He didn't publish anything besides" Mein Kampf".He also redefined socialism to essentially say that militarism and nationalism were socialism.
I know facts are difficult for you to accept and you have a hard time staying in touch with reality, but you're wrong.

@Screamingguitar1 just how is it unconstitutional? What provision of the Constitution does it violate? What article? What clause? Please be specific.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 How about the 10th Amendment? The one that says everything not specifically assigned to the federal government is the right of the states. Also the 9th - which addresses rights of individuals on issues not specifically addressed in the Constitution.
The fact that you even asked that question means you've NEVER actually read anything about the history constitution that isn't on the internet. Of course, socialists prefer it that way - makes it easy to rewrite history.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 I guess a Federal minimum wage is unconstitutional then, because the Constitution does not give the Federal government the right to set wages(not mentioned anywhere in the text),also Federal highways would be unconstitutional because they aren't specifically mentioned either.Hours of service laws,Social Security,Medicare,Medicaid too.
As for the Tenth Amendment, what it really says is just because a right isn't listed in the Bill of Rights doesn't mean it doesn't exist..
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 You're confusing the 9th with the 10th there, sport. You might want to read Article I, Section 8 while you're out there, too. And you know what? I don't even have to look that stuff up.

HSA expenditures count against the deductible. That's the whole point. Health Savings Account - get it? You save money, and spend it if you need it. Carrying a high deductible cuts out the middle man, and saves everybody money.

you sum it up quite nicely; "me me me and me and maby my dog" but that's really not the way society works...
Darusdei 1 year ago
@Darusdei Actually, it's exactly the way society works. The free market is continually correcting the malinvestments caused by those that confuse feeling with thinking.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Yeah, the free market has worked so well recently.Just look at the rise in GDP since 2007 and the rise in home values and the stock market. No if we just leave the free market alone it will work miracles and make everybody rich!Just don't invest in Lehman Brothers,Enron,WaMu or any other stock, unless you really want to go broke.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 That wasn't the free market - that was the heavy hand of the government, who decided to keep interest rates artificially low while simultaneously guaranteeing every garbage loan K- Street could turn out.
Nobody says the free market will make everybody rich. That's just stupid. But in a free market, there are much less poor people. Look at Hong King - one of the freest markets in the world today. They're not in a recession , and they don't even have any natural resources.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Oh please the recent financial meltdown was the culmination of conservative ideas about not regulating markets and letting markets run wild. The Federal Reserve is hardly an example of heavy handed government with big bankers being its clients and running the show.
Hong Kong is linked to the Chinese Communist Party's economic policies and is hardly an example of a free market.Wages are kept low by the government, the currency is manipulated by the government, labor unions banned.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Yeah a Health Savings Account.Works great if you have any money left over at the end of the month to put into an HSA,otherwise you're just screwed and if you get sick, well hope you die quick.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 It's non-taxable income. So those of us that actually understand money can set aside the contribution and not lose a dime in our take home pay. Really, it's the fault of people who think like you that so many people are poor.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Like I say works great if your wages are high enough to allow you any money left over to save.Except for that little caveat HSA's are a great idea, which we already have and which haven't worked.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Like I said - they're tax deductible. Anybody who isn't stupid can set aside pre-tax income so their take home pay isn't even affected.
They work exceptionally well, that's why they were starting to become more popular until the government decided to "help." Let me ask you this - have you ever taken an economics class? Because I'd like you to ask you what happens to price when demand goes up?
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Like I said, some people's wages don't allow for savings. We've had them for years and they haven't controlled the rise in health care costs.Real world data showing they don't work.
I've probably taken more economics than you have.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Yeah, that must be why poverty increased under Raygun,Bush 1 and Shrub and fell under every Democrat.
"If you want to live like a Republican, vote for A Democrat." Harry Truman.
You still haven't answered about the Constitutionality of minimum wage laws etc.Trying desperately to ignore the question doesn't make it go away. How are they constitutional, since the Constitution doesn't explicitly give the Federal government the right to set wages or to tax people for a pension program
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 - The federal minimum wage laws aren't constitutional, for the very reason you cited. The Constitution clearly assigns that right to the states. Social Security-type schemes were repeatedly rejected by SCOTUS as unconstitutional, and this one was originally facing extinction until FDR bullies and blackmailed the court. The judge who caved to the pressure openly regretted it, called the worst decision of his life and a betrayal to his country.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Poverty increased under Reagan? Really? I am guessing you're assuming I'm not old enough to remember the Carter era? Copy and paste this into Google - Cato "There Krugman Goes Again" - Bush I raised taxes, so of course people got poorer. Clinton slashed social spending, cut taxes, had a Republican House and Senate, but he signed NAFTA, raided Social Security to claim his budget was balanced, and also left the country with the dot-com bubble.
Both parties are corrupt, BTW.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 I remember Jimmy very well, actually.A good man and history will treat him well.Unlike Reagan he didn't lie every time he opened his mouth. The budget deficit was smaller in real terms under Carter than Reagan and he started the rearmament that Reagan that ballooned out of proportion and that led to thousand dollar hammers and the like.
Clinton not only balanced the budget he ran an actual surplus and her didn't raid S.S. The Treasury actually retired U.S debt under Clinton.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 I don't want to pay taxes to support the right wing agenda, but I had to suffer through eight years of Shrubism and income transfer to the wealthy.
I believe that government has some obligation to protect it's most vulnerable citizens, even if you think that they should starve or die from sickness.
I'm sure you consider yourself a" compassionate conservative",but the full depths of compassionate conservatism was on display during hurricane Katrina, when New Orleans drowned.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 I worked recovery in both Katrina & Ivan (hit Pensacola 2 yrs prior). I saw different types of people suffer. Worked streets w/$15k homes & those w/$5ml homes. I noticed a trend: In areas consisting of mostly welfare recipients, saw folks waiting on others to come do something. Conversely, in upscale neighborhoods, met wealthy folks in their yards working, not waiting on others to come clean up. I learned there are those that work & reap the fruits, & those that refuse to work.
ascender555 1 year ago
@ascender555 Well,I worked Katrina and I saw many different people wiped out.Of course it would take a "compassionate conservative" to somehow suggest that the old,the disabled, the sick should just raise themselves up b y the bootstraps if only they would quit being too damn lazy and shiftless.
The poor never left New Orleans, they couldn't.The wealthy left and then came back and called their insurance agent, then they hit up the government for food and water.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Stop with the Bush nonsense already. If the people of New Orleans had not depended on Washington DC to help them, they'd be all fixed up by now. It's what insurance is for, after all. Instead, they're still sucking at the teat of an already bankrupt nation.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 Flooding isn't covered by standard homeowners insurance and some people are too poor to afford a separate policy.Perhaps you should try knowing what you are talking about instead of displaying your vast ignorance.
Some people think we have an obligation to the poor, the elderly, the sick and the disabled but of course you see them as sucking on the government teat.
True compassion from a true conservative.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@johndgray1 Perhaps people who can't afford flood insurance shouldn't live in flood zones then. Duh.
I certainly believe we have an obligation to help the less fortunate, but I don't believe it's the proper role of government. I don't understand why liberals get so incensed when the government tries to impose certain morals, but screams that it must enforce other morals.
Using the unwilling labor of others to support YOUR social goals is a form of slavery, no matter how noble your goals.
duncanhunter2008 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 The whole city of New Orleans is a flood zone.It is below sea level and bounded by the Mississippi river, which has been a Federal responsibility since before the Civil War.
Promoting the genral welfare and regulating interstate commerce are also Federal roles, thus making Social Security and minimum wage laws constitutional.
FDR didn't bully the Supreme Court;hi idea of putting more justices on the Court was wildly unpopular and cost him a great deal of political capital.
johndgray1 1 year ago
@duncanhunter2008 That might work if some folks had money to save. We've had HSA's since Shrub seized power in 2000,hasn't done anything to slow the cost of health care and hasn't done anything for those who can't afford insurance.

Truth is, the Republicans did squander their right to claim moral financial supremacy as Bush Jr. bloated government, way beyond the excesses of the Clinton years.
It worked.
You guys can argue tax cuts til doomsday, but your math doesn't add up... sorry...
enntheta 2 years ago
After President Bush signed his tax cuts into law tax revenue went up. Lifting people out of poverty does not create jobs. Social programs send the message that poverty is ok. Social programs have never created one good paying job. They're just a way for liberals to live out their feelings.
danmol78 2 years ago
Yes the math does. Clinton's budget was a $1trillion less than Bush & almost $2trillion less than Obama's. After President Bush signed his tax cuts into law, tax revenues increased to a level above than what he got from Bill Clinton. Clinton deregulated the business environment & let people create jobs that's called America.

And if the government does not renounce any and all such efforts, "it is the right of the people to alter or abolish" the government.
herbs814 2 years ago
why are several of you guys talking about income tax? I said Gov't is run on taxes, based on it's right to tax under the constitution.
There is also nothing in the Const about
fire departments, libraries, police departments, the school system, the national weather service, national parks system, national highway system, or the FDA. According to yr logic, fire protection is not explicitly in the Constitution, therefore it should be left to private business? seem a good idea to you?
enntheta 2 years ago
Taxes: All taxes should be based on sales, NEVER on income or property.
The federal government has NO RIGHT to be involved in education, STEALING land for "national parks", "national highway system", or "national weather service". And the FDA is a corrupt organization that should absolutely be abolished.
Anything that is not explicitly authorized in the Constitution as a power of the federal government should absolutely be returned to its proper place: the PRIVATE sector.
