We saw Jasmine in Dallas and she was SO SWEET. She let me take a picture of her and my son and she gave him her autograph. She was absolutely STUNNING. Beautiful young woman!

@TediusZanarukando Jasmine Murray was sabotaged during the semifinal rounds. She performed very far below her potential. Her attempt at that Sara Bareilles song messed up her Idol journey. American Idol is corrupt and that is why she got voted off too early. If American Idol were not corrupt, Jasmine would have won the competition.

@nigelaquaria Jasmine Murray was sabotaged by American Idol producers during the semifinal round. She was offered a lousy song choice of the Sara Bareilles song "Love Song." Therefore, she is highly underrated.

@nigelaquaria Michael Sarver should have gone home at top 13 instead of Jasmine Murray. America was right about Jorge Núñez. The only critique Jasmine received that week is that Simon Cowell thought the performance was "a little bit robotic." Jasmine's top 13 performance was better than Megan Joy's. All of the girls in the top 13 should have been on the tour. Jasmine Murray and Alexis Grace should have been on the tour instead of Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre.

Jasmine Murray sang "Reflection" by Christina Aguilera better than Jordin Sparks did. This performance is only the tip of the iceberg for Jasmine. My favorite performance from her is "I'll Be There."

I liked this version more than jordin sparks' one. Why? Well Jazmine really has the pipes to sing this song, I'm not saying Jordin doesn't(I love Jordin) but Jazmine really manages the entire song, every each note, and the power that she puts on the lyrics are exactly what made this song so amazing. It's a pity she didn't find her way on idol, because this song sounds really really good.

@raulalalarcon It is a shame that almost everyone on the American Idol related message boards to seem to hate Jasmine Murray. If you see the full finalist rankings, most users rank her in the bottom 20 out of 107. That is a nightmare. She is the most underrated out of all 107 finalists. She has received more hate on the Internet than my other favorites.

To this day I am still baffled by what happened on this season. This performance alone has been better than 95% of what has been done on the current season. I was expecting big things from this girl from her audition, and I usually pick contestants that are around close to the end. I still think she should have been, and I think she's already a forgotten talent from this show. And that's a shame cause she could have been record gold for these people.

@raulalalarcon According to what I just read on IDF, Jasmine Murray has not been really hated; she has been just ignored. Therefore, she is the most underrated season 8 finalist. I hope that one day the Idol fans will do a 180 on her.

Megan Joy's votes came from those who value looks or music preference over talent or performance and from those who so-called "relate" to her. The same is true for Kris Allen, Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Scott MacIntyre, Michael Sarver, and Alexis Grace.

That is because based on what I read on the Internet, they already made up their mind in advance that she would be eliminated. Therefore, even if the judges praised her as much as they praised Kris or Allison, she would still be eliminated. Jennifer Hudson got eliminated to 7th place despite the positive feedback from the judges.

Yes, the summer tour would have been better and more interesting with Jasmine instead of Megan. I am glad I did not attend the concert, because I would have been too embarrassed. I recently posted a poll based on this concern at Mister Poll website.

@pufllys Jasmine Murray is vocally superior to most of the top 11. Her only true competition are Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta. Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta may be the most popular, but Jasmine Murray has the potential to be the best. Lil Rounds, Anoop Desai, Matt Giraud, Jorge Núñez, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, and Alexis Grace are in the middle of the road. Megan Joy, Scott MacIntyre, and Michael Sarver are a joke.

I am very disappointed that Jasmine Murray is going to miss out on the Idol summer tour. She should have been on the tour in Megan Joy's place. Megan Joy did not earn a spot in the top 10. Therefore, Megan Joy should yield her Idol tour seat to Jasmine Murray.
