  • We cooked thai fried rice but it is with shrimp paste...is it ok to add shrimp paste to it?

  • @makybediva1234 her parents are probably also thin and she doesn't eat lots of fast food and sugar like most westerners.

  • Thank you so much for the video

quick question what kind of oil do I use ???

  • wow that looks good... i have got to get me an asian wife :)

  • P'Anchulee krub...what do you call the black soy sauce in Thai??

  • coulda added some tomatoes, scotch bonnet peppers, green chilli pepers, banana pepper and bam.. 3 diff chilies.. = amazing.

  • very amatuer, you have basic ingredients but your prep and cooking should be done on high heat and add a bit of oyster sauce to make it taste better. omg cook the egg separetly and then add ato rice

  • @rdf7777 i believe the term "simple" "thai fried rice" was used at the beginning... therefore, "basic" ingredients are acceptable... variety, as stated... is the spice of life... take a break, and enjoy...

  • Thank you for the presentation. Asian food is my favorite. And among Asian cuisine

Thai food #1. I will try this dish, however I like it spicy so I will add peppers. When should I add my peppers initially or near the end. If anyone knows I would appreciate the info.

  • @pierrebrseven I watched another presentation where the garlic and thai peppers were ground up (or sliced if you prefer) and added to the heated oil in the beginning :)

  • @lannlann Thank you!

  • Wow easy to make and looks like very good recipe, where can I buy the Tom ka Paste ? is there any place you know where to buy it ?

  • YUMMY!

  • Key to not having sticky rice mush is to add cold cooked rice to wok.

  • Thank you, you are really good! keep up, we love you!

  • Very nice presentation and everything. But there's one thing , the way u hold food when u cut it , is dangerous to cut yourself. Be careful sweety : )

  • what kind of rice did you use?

  • it's cool to see the many diff ways to make Thai Fried Rice, my friend is from Thailand and he made (Khao Pad) for me the other day, it was so good! He used the same ingredients you used but he fried the dish in peanut oil instead of vegetable oil, he added in (nam pla) fish sauce, sugar & white onion. He didnt add the uncooked egg to rice like you did, i watched him pour soy sauce into the beaten egg and scramble them separately. Your dish looks so good, i can't wait to try your version,

  • what kinda oil should we use? Veggie oil? coconut oil? Sunflower oil? Sesame oil? Olive oil? Corn oil? etc?

  • @bethal1998

use veggie oil, or corn oil--they are best for this recipe...but never olive oil--it will interfere with the taste.

  • i love so rice so much that i will serve fried rice with rice heheh thank you very simple and tasty

  • Very well , Five star for this show .

  • I want to Thailand back !!!

  • \m/

    I feel hungry

    Oh my God,

    i can smell the

    aromas of all foods

    just with watch, thank you...

  • yummy!

  • is adding the egg wet at end better than cooking it first?

  • excellent presentation. i prefer my thai food with less oil and more heat.

  • It contains chicken but the main name of the dish is ข้าวผัด (khao pad). So really it's like calling a sandwich a sandwich without mentioning the filling, which is pretty common throughout western culture and society.

It's casual and common practice of thai, they have a lot of it.

  • Looks good, but it looks like a lot of oil is used...

  • with your accent, i think you are living in california or particurlarly in los angeles. becuase lot of people here, they always looks like asking a question.

  • where do you buy black soysauce at/

  • If you have an asian grocery store near you, it should be possible to go in and ask for "Black soy sauce" it's really not expensive but i've only seen it at asian food stores.

  • Thank you for sharing this!

  • Can I make this in olive oil for health reasons?

  • Well, I think you can try. However, I don't think olive oil is suitable for this dish. ^-^

  • thank you is delicious

  • so easy, thanks a lot!
