I would like to know how to pause within the video to create scenes that instantly pan over to the next, without showing the transition from place to place. For example: Shane Dawson does this in his videos when he is talking to the camera. He will be in one position for a few seconds, then instantly to another without showing that he moved. I was wondering if the flip mino had this function

I got the Ultra HD and am glad I got it. I like that it has a little weight and I have dropped and and you notice when you do. Takes awesome vids and the HD is AWESOME. (Flip Ultra HD 8 gig)

guess what i wanna buy a mino so i go online and check the prices its at 109 dollars so then i ran out of ink for my printer i go and see the mino and guess wat its on special for 48$ at walmart and i buy it and its the best thing ever exxept it has 30 minutes of battery its great!

Thanks for the detailed objective review. I just bought a refurbished one for $89 and should get it next week. It's way too featureless for my taste (I need optical zooming!) but it's perfect for my parents.

Well, sorta. It has 2x digital zoom, which is no more than cropping the image and then expanding what's left to fill the space. The resulting image will be grainy and existing flaws will be amplified. Users have said not to use it.

ok dude ive got a question..with the av outputs can you record from it also like on the handy cam and other camcorders like when you plug it up to your tv does it ask do you want input or output cause im trying to find a camcorder i can use as a dvr to cause i play alot of xbox and i need both a camcorder and a capture card so i figured id just try to get a camcorder that can do both lol

Sotto, if you are going to write a review of the Flip Mino you should really address the mic/sound quality of this cam. THAT is what I needed to know.  I bought a Mino. IT has not yet arrived, but now I have concerns because I want to upload video to YouTube of me making live music on various world instruments. How could you fail to address sound quality??
