They've got another guitarist in this clip - usually it was just Paddy. Best version of Faron Young I've ever heard (and I've heard a few), really kicks along.
Anyone got a better tape of it? See my videos for the work I'm doing archiving and restoring Sprout live footage.
Saw the Sprouts at around the time this was recorded - Paddy resplendent in beard and white suit - at the Triangle Arts Centre in Birmingham, a couple of weeks after Live Aid, where Kevin Armstrong, the additional guitarist here, had played for David Bowie. Brilliant gig.
Blast from the past! Me and my friends were in the audience for this, Border TV paid for a bus to Carlisle from Newcastle to ship us over as a 'rent a crowd.'If you blink you'll miss me at the front! If I remember rightly Janet Street Porter produced this programme? 'Bliss' . Sigue Sigue Sputnik (who they?) were also filmed the same night.
when was this filmed?

I 'm just discovering the Sprout, who I didn't really pay much attention to back in the day, and I had forgotten that they did this song. Thank you!

Hey guys,
Can you visit & comment on Prefab's "Ice Maiden" song on YouTube and help ensure it stays posted. It's a fantastic song that's
really been underestimasted and really deserves more publicity online.
Thanks a million - Sean from Trinidad.

Can someone please post Prefab's "Ice Maiden" from the Jordan album, as it's really great but I just can't find it anyone at all online. Thanks!

Forgive me Faron Young for Four In The Morning...
Class song. I hope Paddy is doing ok as he has had his unfair share of poor health over the last few years.
Fantastic songs and the vocals are so uplifting.

The studio version should have been more like this...The chorus is by far the best bit.

Typically I prefer their studio stuff, but this - just damn. They nailed it.

Paddy may have physically changed, but his voice just gets better on recent remix.
