  • Watching these lamps burn, it seems to me that as the oil burns away, it exposes more wick, causing a higher flame... but then, maybe the wick burns away as the oil level drops; I don't know. But if more wick is exposed as it burns, maybe a "float" system would work well... ?

  • mine went for literally like 3 days. on 1 inch of oil and a paper towel for a wick
