You are taking this to far. There is a point of "stealing vs copying" You are copying starcraft:bw, not 'stealing' it. Basically by copying you will NEVER get a better version than original. But by stealing and improving the old concept you can. So if you want to create SC2BW, then make it SC2BW, not SC:BW, you can do it by taking the best of SC:BW, like units, bla bla, without diving into to much detail and improving some stuff that was not good in SC.
@MavercKZ3R0 All it would take is canceling the spread leg animation but hey you put so much work into this gameplay wise asking for a pretty version would be a bit of a stretch.
As I understand it, the bulbs travel directly to a target in a straight line, and if they encounter an obstacle, they generate a flow of bulbs that expand outward and downwards until they encounter a path? I didn't play much SC! but you will need to force orthogonal direction as well to recreate it fully.
Also, what do red bulbs indicate and what do dark bulbs indicate?

Mav I got a question for you.
Will you remake the siege tank from Brood War just like you do with the reaver.
I mean the Siege tank from SC2 and BW looks different.
sorry for my english >,<
Keep up the good work!

@RavingDragoon orthogonal? you mean diagonal? they do that.
green nodes are Open
red nodes are Closed
blue nodes are being checked currently by the algorithm
it's an A* pathing algorithm. i was gonna put a link here to a good guide but it's not letting me. just google A* Pathing for beginners
