theyre not mirrors. when you commit on a flip youre looking behind you to spot your landing, theres no way you could see where your landing is with mirrors. Those bars keep you from over-rotating around the handlebars when you do flip variations and KODs

That was Daniel Bodin who crashed there. Please look him up on youtube or where ever. Probably the best or one of the best freestyle snowmobile riders in the world. And world record holder for the biggest backflip 147 feet. Shit happens he knows the risks and he has probably pulled over a hundred flips before that.
