You know its not the parent who doesnt care or the kid who gets what ever he/she wants or the games that have that fantasy feeling that no other game has. If the parent trusts their kid enough to not get sucked into these violent video games there should be no problem right? so i think this law is bullshit

My parents will NEVER let me play GTA. And you know what? The only thing it does for me is not let me play it with my friends for fun.

Good thing too, because video games made me SOO violent, I have kill everyone I meet. If its in vido games, that makes it cool!

Here's what it comes down to, parents are to blame for what their child plays. It's what parents are supposed to do, but many parents can't handle this task of watching your child and the child does something that they learned from it, they want to blame the videogame as if it brainwashed their little Bobby into doing it, parents don't want to take responsibility for their kid and so they blame whatever else they can.

I'm sorry but the idiot on here who had the absolute nerve to compare the restriction of M-rated games to the restriction on booze should be slapped for such an ignorant remark. Newsflash dumbass we have restrictions on alchohol because alchohol is has been PROVEN to have negative health effects and is involved in thousands of traffic deaths every year. First he says there is no link between violent video games and real life violence and then has the audacity to support something like that.

that one is REAL DEBATEABLE, its said that red wine in moderation is somewhat good for the heart and as for M rated games, I believe there's a REALLY GOOD REASON for that: those games are for MATURE audiences only and its mature people who can handle the content without doing something stupid like in gta when you can steal cars from cops and random people and I play gta all the time and I dont go around carjacking people because I am smart enouth to know its just a game.

Why dont they just mind there own buisness!! At the end of the day its the parents job to choose what their kids play. Right now Im 17 and waiting for GTA IV. I started playing GTA since I was like 10!! And I haven't killed anyone in my live or even thinked of doing it!! Its just that there are some people that take some stuff to serious!
