@daveescape01 We can't produce hydrogen on massive and cost-effective scale without nuclear reactors, which is totally out of the question until the regulatory commission cleans their bullshit rules up and lowers the cost per reactor to a fraction of what it is now.
@kbahrt No, they are not. A Fuel Cell produces more energy andt hat's already less efficint than gasoline engines. These Hydrogen combustion engines produce 20% more power, and you can get it from very easy to find sources.
Also, Lithium and Alkaline, required to power most good batteries, are minerals, as in they don't renew themselves.
@gamehero77 No, there is. From the combustion itself comes a small amount of nitrogen, but it's negligible and wouldn't effect even the most sensitive environement.
Thats the same technique, Mr. Dingel of the Philippines said his early prototypes needs gasoline to start and then will run on 100 percent hydrogen. But his latest prototype doesn't need gasoline. It now runs on 100 percent hydrogen. Thanks for sharing your video.
now is this running on hydrogen alone, or hho gas? and if so is this generator producing more power than it takes to produce hho gas? if that is the case than you could use it to produce the gas, and use the gas to fuel the generator, and so on and so forth... but most likely you are getting less energy than it is taking to produce the gas in the first place...
How can this work? Gas engine compress air/fuel than sparks it up to form an explosion. But hydrogen combustion implodes... Should the air/hydrogen intake be when the piston is completly up, than goes down and implode to produce power. Instead of pushing the piston it would actualy pull it. Or am I confusing myself with something else?
check out the "BMW HYDROGEN technology 3D animation" video to clear your doubts. to my knowledge, when the hydrogen is compressed, i'm sure that compression would have tried getting out somehow.... not sure about the implosion though..
I didn't deal with it at all. It's not easy to solve this problem on this kind of engine, so I am planning to go ahead on another small engine with an ordinary distributor. Nevertheless, I was impressed to have such a smooth running on hydrogen with a waste spark and 25 degrees of ignition advance...
I have found the easiest way to deal with waste spark is have a pressure switch which open circuits ignition coil on non compression stroke. Hope this helps.
can you help me by telling me information on how to use hydrogen in an internal combustion engine? :) thank you very much :)

The combustion sounds the same! Though I don't know why i was expecting the sound to be different.

After we use up all our oil and gas prices are $39.95 a gallon they might consider possibly thinking about using something like this in the future.

No they won't. Batteries are more effective.

Hey guys I was wondering. What are the resultant gases in hydrogen combustion? Are there any harmful greenhouse gases.

uhhh no

Thats cool. Do you know specifically though whats gasses come out of the tail.

Hydrogen couples with Oxygen to create water vapor as the only by product.
Alabamomebic4 3 years ago
@Charles2337 oxygen and water vapor.
gamehero77 1 year ago
@gamehero77
Oxygen? That's impossible. This is combustion.
Charles2337 1 year ago
@Charles2337 Not all combustion reactions make co2. Here's the equation for burning hydrogen:
2 H2 + 2 02 ==>2 H2O + O2
There's no carbon in the equation. Therefore, CO2 can't be formed. Only water and Oxygen :D

@KoronofHearts cool. I wonder how many joules the reaction produces...
gamehero77 1 year ago
@Charles2337 No, it is. FOR the combustion in a hydrogen genny, you need H2+O2 like he says there.

During Hydrogen Operation is the fuel source 100% hydrogen or is it being injected in with the gasoline?
MrAlexZander 3 years ago
Nevermind, I watched some of your other videos and answered my own question. Pretty cool that it is running on 100% hydrogen.

well the technology is the same ..
BOTH hydrogen and oxygen do the trick here ...
in the engine ..Hydrogen alone cannot run the engine

Natural gas has more energy density than hydrogen, so more power and can be derived from a natural gas engine.

If you burn Hydrogen, you will get water vapor as a result of the exothermic reaction.
