Culpepper is my homeboy (we're from the same town) and that first touchdown he run in and then pointed at his knee was vendication for those stank ass Dolphons trading him and giving him that lame ass knee excuse! I could only imagine how he felt beating them like that and in manner in which he did.
@BrokerMike73 you do realize hes unemployed right? hes begging any team to sign him and that includes the dolphins..so in the end Miami has the last laugh
@Hype0071 Yeah, Miami's laughing allright. So is the rest of the NFL. The "Suck for Luck" season is a quarter over and we're 0-4. For some reason, I see Brees throwing another TD pass to Welker and the Fish are in the Super Bowl, but no. We took Dante".....what a pathetic franchise we have here in South Florida.
@jdizelful it's not that funny, actually it's not fnny at all they just put that down there so people watching the game can inform people what favre did.
OneTime for my muthafuckin homeboy! Its sad that this type and level of talent is not in the NFL. He's better then 60 to 70% of the NFL starters right now!
Get your roll on. Thanks for posting this. One of my favorite QB's of the past 10 years. He had some rough moments and some bad games in the later stages of his career. Oh well. It can't take away from his amazing talent, and his overall good attitude towards the game. He could have given up several times during the Miami / Detroit / Raider years. Newsflash. It's not all Daunte's fault. He was throwing behind some really bad O-lines as well....Glad to see he's still going in Sacramento.
No one will ever be able to explain to me Daunte Culpepper's fall-off. His best year in Minnesota was when Moss was hurt half the year. He had one of the best seasons of ALL-TIME for a QB and he didn't win MVP because that was the year that Manning threw 49 tds. I know he hurt his knee pretty bad, but still. His fall is unlike any other. He was unbelievable and all of a sudden he was garbage, just like that.
Watch a video from before his injury and one from after. You'll see that he just simply can't cut off of his plant leg. His injury never fully healed and he'll never be the player he was. A shame.
The worst part is that you could see from his drop back in Miami he was playing while still injured, which is probably the cause of the downfall of his career.
ALL YALL CAN KISS ASS AND KICK ROCKS....HE DA SHYT AND ALWAYS GONE REMAIN DA SHYT...ONE TIME 4 CULPEPPPPER ON U HATERS!!!!!!!!! NA GET CHA ROLL ON LOL!!!
ALL YALL CAN KISS ASS AND KICK ROCKS....HE DA SHYT AND ALWAYS GONE REMAIN DA SHYT...ONE TIME 4 CULPEPPPPER ON U HATERS!!!!!!!!! NA GET CHA ROLL ON LOL!!!
Culpepper is the definition of a bum. He had a couple good seasons where moss basically made him and he sucked every other year. Anyone can throw a few TDs if they have randy moss in his prime. I like how he showboated in this game like he's payton manning and the dolphins screwed up big time when they cut him. The raiders cut his fat as s after this season and he rolled on to qb the lions to an 0-16 season and then rolled on out of the nfl.
@lacesoutdany A wide reciever can't catch a football, regardless of who that wide reciever is, unless the QB throws a good pass. You sound stupid saying what you said.
@lacesoutdany Okay, a "bum" throw for 69%, almost 5000yds, 39tds? Yeah, and Moss was hurt half that year. Daunte was special. His knee got really screwed up and I think by the time he got back into the NFL he was already away too long and he lost what he had.
daunte cullpeper was one of the most talented quarterbacks with the vikings plus hes a 3 time pro bowler hes just getting old thats all but he can still handle football though.
Man i'm a huge vikings fan but he only had one good season, which was 2004. Once he got hurt against carolina in 2005, he just hasn't been the same. He's tried Miami, oakland, and detroit and has just plain sucked!!!!
this guy is garbage...it was great today when stafford but hurt at the end of the game..and they put culpeppers bitch ass in, then the browns called a timeout...and they took culpepper back out, and stafford tied it...Culpepper should just retire....actually he should go to Oakland and start bc russell is the worst qb in hfl history
We should've kept him as a backup, but hell we signed Jeff Garcia. He'll be a good mentor to JaMarcus and not to menchin if JaMarcus has a bad game we plug in Garcia. Garcia, Lorenzo Neil, and Greg Ellis are great signings for leadership and also for their play. I think we have all the piece's together and we can start makin the PLAYOFF'S!!!!!!
Me too. But this past year was a start. We got five wins, it aint much but it's better than three or four. And I like Garcia at QB and the addtions of Ellis and Neal. We could get more than five wins this year. I'm hopin that we could get a wild card spot in the playoffs.
8yrs ago he was one of the best quarterbacks with a very strong arm who has really good running ability agile quick an explosive its like getting a good quarterback who can do 3 things in one package throw hard passes run an score the football thats rare to find as most quarterbacks just run around in the pocket.
reminds me of a 7ft power forward in nba basketball who can handle the ball finish on the break pass out of the block an knock down a 20foot jump shot kinda like kg.
The media constantly reminds us that Cupepper weighs 265 and he runs a 4.5 40 and that he can throw the ball the lenth of the football field. To bad non of that equated to wins.
He consistently turned the ball over and in the worst of circumstances. The tv announcers chalked his knot headed descisions as ' "Well, he tries to make too many plays on his own" Please!!
His "roll on" celebration, is as pathetic as his play.
I dont believe you that she said that, but your hatin on his taunt and skills. Well i guess i'm hatin on him too if i'm backing him up.Come on man, make sense!
with the vikes he was amazing. and raiders were a joke and the lions had no o line. he was knocked down about 90 percent of drop backs. he wasnt bad. he was very good.
Completely agree with you. Totally overrated. We all know he's 7 ft tall weighs 400lbs of muscle and runs a 2 flat 40. But what did it get you.?? As soon as Moss left, he couln't figure out defenses. He had the knack of making the worse mistake at the most inoportune times.Consistently turned tha ball over.Tha he was great athlete for his size...of course. That he was a great QB...no way!
go ahead and have him detroit... He maybe healthy but this guy fumbles all the time when he gets pressured. He does make good plays when it comes to deep passes but for short passes... not so much.
the man was born in a prison cell....hes horrible....he fumbles more balls than a clumsy hooker.....and what do the lions do....ehh lets pick him up...the lions organization is as retarded as it gets
okay before we say culpepper is washed up, what teams did he play for since his knee was blown out? the dolphins and raiders, oh yeah you can definitely be a good QB in an organization like oakland and miami in the state they were in
Whats the the talentless garbage rap int he background? Anyway, too bad this guy is a fucking wash up, sign with the Lions, another great move detroit.
Daunte cant go out like this he should go sign with new england pats him and moss would be killer and daunte would have a great o line he doesent have to worry bout gettin sack only thing hes gonna do is throw that ball to moss and his teammates and hes only 31 he gots a good 3 or 4 years left in him still
Daunte Was dat nigga Wif Randy Moss..Dat year dey loos to the Giants in the playoff..I guess Randy's Ruival is the Giants dey took his possiable rign twice...But Dante Holds it down....
Man I'm going to miss Daunte. he is one of the few people that represented players from UCF well. when he was with the vikings, he certainly was one of the top QBs in the league. what I dont get is, why did culpepper not get a chance at places that really needed a QB. SF, TB and especially CHICAGO? with the crap they have in chicago, he could just walk in and be the starter.
Im not a vikings fan or anything but i admit he was one of the best back when he was a viking. It's sad that he has to retire as a QB that could never get a starting job. Hopefully he'll do some broadcasting in the future. Good luck Daunte in the future.
yea hearin about him retiring kinda hurt me cuz he wuz my favorite black qb. I can feel what he said sayin that he deserves to be in a position to compete for a startin job instead of waitin for a phone call when a teams qb gets hurt. Ima a 49ers fan and we could o definitely used him. The west coast offense iz perfect for a scrambling qb like him...hell im pissed now lol
It's sad, as a Vikings fan i feel it for him. But I have to be brutally honest, MOss made him a great qb, without Moss he's just ok. He does have a point how the NFL is, but it is what it is: a business. Its a shame, Lions, Bears, even Vikings (altho thats highly unlikely), shouldve give this guy a chance.
Good luck in the future DC...you had an excellent career, and quite frankly, could walk into the Bears locker room today and be the best QB on the team by a large margin...
the throws in this video suck...his receivers are making the completions...culpepper's lucky his receivers are trying...the guys arm motion and accuracy blow
He's Happy Because The Dolphins Released Him When He Was Coming Back From Injury And Is Now Telling Them They Made A Mistake In Getting Rid Of Him Because He's Fine Now Hence Why After He Scores His Rushing Touchdown He Points To His Knee And Gives A Thumbs Up To The Crowd And Daunte Isnt Horrible He's A Great QB
wow im a raiders fan and too be honest i wasnt impressed about culpepper this game im not sad hes gone, but about JaMarcus everone now says hes in the best shape in his life so i dont think his weight will be a problem
culpepper was actually very good on the vikings..so was randy moss..but when moss went to the raiders, he started to suck, culpepper will be better off somehwere else becuz the raiders just suck..BIG TIME..look at charles woodson, he sucked on the raiders and now he's good on the packers..Raiders SUCK!!!!
Zing are you plain stupid.. If culpepper sucks what do you then?.. Offcourse Moss was a enormeous factor to the "good culpepper in minnesota". But that was not the only receiver he hit in those seasons. Moss was in double, or triple coverage with the safety over the top, all the time. And Moss had 1000 yard seasons. but.. In 2002(or 2003) He threw for 4700+ yards.. So dont talk thrash about players if you dont know their history which you clearly dont.
he did that in 04'...when moss was injured and had his first below 1000 yard year in his career, and zing432 are you fucking retarded? he got his major knee INJURY on the VIKINGS, plus his accuracy can't be so horrible if he's been below 60 percent completing his passes with only the raiders, don't get mad because he has everything that your bummy ass can only dream of having
Daunte Culpepper is sweet! He is my all-time favorite player in the NFL (along with Adrian Peterson)
He is going to go back to Miami, and play with Chad Johnson, Keyshawn Johnson (if he un-retires) and Ted Ginn Jr. Hes going to be a probowler again! Go Daunte!
josh Mcown sucked but he wants to come back even if hes a backp so i gotta give him respect, and daunte wants 2 be a starter so hes leaving....anyway daunte badass and who cares raiders for life!!
yes because he only signed a 1 year contract and theres no reason for the raiders to resign him...and some teams really need qbs and i bet daunte will be with another team
maybe...kiffin wants him,but what i think they should do is offer him a 3 year contract, and if he declines, let dominic rhodes start or michael bush if hes healed and release lamont jorden...
yea, our o line was alrite towards the end of the season..but if our o line improves and plays good the whole season next justin fargas will be baddass, and we need a runstopper
Best qb ever!

I can feel what he said sayin that he deserves to be in a position to compete for a startin job instead of waitin for a phone call when a teams qb gets hurt. Ima a 49ers fan and we could o definitely used him. The west coast offense iz perfect for a scrambling qb like him...hell im pissed now lol
frostbyte901 3 years ago
It's sad, as a Vikings fan i feel it for him. But I have to be brutally honest, MOss made him a great qb, without Moss he's just ok. He does have a point how the NFL is, but it is what it is: a business. Its a shame, Lions, Bears, even Vikings (altho thats highly unlikely), shouldve give this guy a chance.
Juvy29 3 years ago
Good luck in the future DC...you had an excellent career, and quite frankly, could walk into the Bears locker room today and be the best QB on the team by a large margin...

hes an idiot for retiring early, hes a quitter, he never knew what could've happened... whatever, farewell daunte
wrestlemania12 3 years ago
Man...fuck....
Culpepper could have been a soild starter....just never found that "fit" I guess.
I hope he pulls a "Brett Favre"
Lmao, gonna start using that shit as a verb now.
To Brett Favre something: The action of quitting multiple times then saying "no no no...wait...I'm just kidding I still wanna play!"

Can't believe you retired.

remember when culpepper was good?
ozzdan21 3 years ago
The real question was. How do you get rolled on by the Raiders? I knew the Dolphins were bad but damn
Izeluvtacos 3 years ago
tony romo would be a back up for cullpeper. Tony Homo sux.
GoToSleep34 3 years ago
the throws in this video suck...his receivers are making the completions...culpepper's lucky his receivers are trying...the guys arm motion and accuracy blow
jamesjonestheball 3 years ago
I really like this dude he needs to come to dallas and back up romo we do need a good backup anyway our one right now is almost 40
dallascowboys121 3 years ago
jemarcus is pretty much like culpepper only with a bigger arm
DallasCowboyrb 3 years ago
daunte is horrible end of story wtf is he so happy about he beat the worst team in nfl history hes a joke lmfao
slashallstar11 3 years ago
He's Happy Because The Dolphins Released Him When He Was Coming Back From Injury And Is Now Telling Them They Made A Mistake In Getting Rid Of Him Because He's Fine Now Hence Why After He Scores His Rushing Touchdown He Points To His Knee And Gives A Thumbs Up To The Crowd And Daunte Isnt Horrible He's A Great QB
G1GG4 3 years ago 4
how do you let daunte culpepper shit on you?
caiylb 3 years ago
wow im a raiders fan and too be honest i wasnt impressed about culpepper this game im not sad hes gone, but about JaMarcus everone now says hes in the best shape in his life so i dont think his weight will be a problem
godwow123 3 years ago
culpepper was actually very good on the vikings..so was randy moss..but when moss went to the raiders, he started to suck, culpepper will be better off somehwere else becuz the raiders just suck..BIG TIME..look at charles woodson, he sucked on the raiders and now he's good on the packers..Raiders SUCK!!!!
albah0lic 3 years ago
OMFG I cant say anything else u piece of shit... oh I know one more thing he has no freaking brain and he sucks!!!there im done

raiders66 3 years ago 2
J Russell is too fat its going to be hard for him to move in the pocket- over rated, he s to slow
uprightking 3 years ago
JaMarcus better do good nd he needs to lose some weight but otherwise i think he could be a pretty good QB
chicolla13 3 years ago
Oh and he sucked on every other team he was fucking on!
zing432 3 years ago
Daunte Culpepper sucks how can everybody think that he was so good on the minnesota vikings because he was only good because he had randy moss.
zing432 3 years ago
not really though hes just had a bad leg injury and he hasnt recovered yet
BOWE82BEAST 3 years ago
OMFG u fucking piece of shit he wasnt injured on the Vikings he just has a good arm, but his accuracy sucks.cullpeper ios a fucking faggit!!!!
zing432 3 years ago
Zing are you plain stupid.. If culpepper sucks what do you then?.. Offcourse Moss was a enormeous factor to the "good culpepper in minnesota". But that was not the only receiver he hit in those seasons. Moss was in double, or triple coverage with the safety over the top, all the time. And Moss had 1000 yard seasons. but.. In 2002(or 2003) He threw for 4700+ yards.. So dont talk thrash about players if you dont know their history which you clearly dont.
Koldegaard 3 years ago 2
he did that in 04'...when moss was injured and had his first below 1000 yard year in his career, and zing432 are you fucking retarded? he got his major knee INJURY on the VIKINGS, plus his accuracy can't be so horrible if he's been below 60 percent completing his passes with only the raiders, don't get mad because he has everything that your bummy ass can only dream of having
KN1992 3 years ago
And thats why the Dolphins were the worst team, not by going 1-15 but by letting Daunte have a career day. Simply garbage
VikingsRuler 3 years ago
stupid people 300 pounds ha i heard that 2 but they said it was a rumor n not a true one...
LAMEIGHTEEN 3 years ago
ya right j rus is around 300lbs if not above they are moving him to the fucking line then the raider will have to fatasses on the line named russel
babyslayer494 3 years ago
Uhm. Those were actually rumors. It was proven that he wasn't 300 lbs. He was 265-270

Go Daunte!
kisiel611 4 years ago 2
Dolphins just suck. Didn't Joey Porter guarantee a victory before that game?

josh Mcown sucked but he wants to come back even if hes a backp so i gotta give him respect, and daunte wants 2 be a starter so hes leaving....anyway daunte badass and who cares raiders for life!!
raidersSolja 4 years ago 2
josh mccown sucks. thats it rly. but dauntes leaving? no one will take him hes still injured i thot.
jrrsas 4 years ago
yes because he only signed a 1 year contract and theres no reason for the raiders to resign him...and some teams really need qbs and i bet daunte will be with another team
raidersSolja 4 years ago
ya nd we got jemarcuz ruzzel
eh u think farguz will be first string diz year o nah
Oaklandboy21 4 years ago
maybe...kiffin wants him,but what i think they should do is offer him a 3 year contract, and if he declines, let dominic rhodes start or michael bush if hes healed and release lamont jorden...
raidersSolja 4 years ago
tha sounds pretty coo actually, i tink fargus will take it cuz ppl wanna start, and they shuld be betta next year...betta offense, we got a defence
Oaklandboy21 4 years ago
yea, our o line was alrite towards the end of the season..but if our o line improves and plays good the whole season next justin fargas will be baddass, and we need a runstopper
