  • can you do this instead of cardio? cuz ill do this on my off days from lifting

  • Yes and No. Circuit training provides many of the same benefits as long slow distance cardiovascular training, while at the same time adding resistance training benefits. I would not totally rid yourself of cardio specific training, but depending on your fitness level, medical history, and your goals you may be able to utilize circuits or intervals in place of some or even most.

  • Seems like atough workout for a new exerciser.

  • You certainly want to work at your own pace that is appropriate for your level. Select lighter amounts of resistance, extend the rest intervals, and/or or shorten work intervals to make it work for you. Within a few weeks of consistent exercise you will notice improvements and be able to adjust those variables the other direction to continue making improvement.

  • This instructional video for the web is put together very well. Straight forward and easy to follow/understand thanks to the camera angle and voice over. Good Job Amy and Camera Man!
