for me i think both characters are crazy awesome. but ayane is a tier 4 which is slightly harder to master. she has two styles. the rush/combo style and the hit and run. i use both, depending on the situation. what makes her a tier 4 is that she can be open if you make an error, for example, if you arent smooth at her roll. THAT takes a lotta practice, but ull get it. Kasumi on the other hand has flashy moves, but they are hard to pull off. But she also has combos and rly good speed. I LUV BOTH

Ayane's fighting style is for aggressive fighters whereas Kasumi's is more suited for defensive imo. Thats why i like Kasumi more.

Actually, Ayane is slightly faster. Kasumi is the more well balanced of the two. Kasumi is fast, but she doesn't quite have the hand speed Ayane has when Ayane is spinning around and punching you. Not to mention Ayane's triple spin kick is quite rediculous.
