Toyota is doing boring WEC/Le Mans. Subaru has a 1.6T boxer engine from Cosworth, and need something to put it in. New WRX/STi will come in a couple of years, and it won't be badged as an Impreza. Subaru is also eyeing the WTCC, but that isn't likely.

Great roof cam. Again though, I dont see the point in having a door or side panel cam. All it ends up being is that half the screen is just the side of the car and the other half is all the grass at the side of the road. It was spot on in the Hirvonen video as it stuck with the interior cam the whole way through, so I dont understand why this isn't done with the roof cam as well to get the best possible view throughout the whole stage.
@ acalindigital top speed on tarmac will be between 120 and 130 mph, 0 to 60 in around 3 to 4 seconds but average speed will be around 80 -90 mph on the wide road and around 65-75 on narrow road hope this helps
Shame Ogier has to support Loeb. He will be very dangerous next year, so I wonder how long Loeb will stay in WRC or if Ogier will stay with Citroen if they tell him to give way again next year.
@UltimateWheelman Loeb just signed contract with Citroen for 2012 & 13. Ogier, Hirvonen & LAtvala all unsigned for next year. Big shake up in the next few months. Rumors have Mikko and Ogier swapping seats. But we will see.
@mbc92028 really? i'd love to see Mikko and Ogier swap seats, deffinetly shake things up. now this is a bit out of the blue, but i don't suppose you've heard any rumours about Subaru, or toyota reappearing in the wrc anytime in the next few years? i know VW are appearing in 2013, and loeb was very intersted in joining them =S
@mackensie2212 Toyota no, w/Subaru there have been rumors they are going to do a big motorsports push when next STI comes out, but nothing firm yet. Subaru is still big player in rally everywhere but WRC. Keeping next years championship in mind, none of the top drivers will commit to VW until after 2012 as they would spend all of'12 testing and lose a chance at being 2012 champ. Best bets at coming into WRC are Peugot, Kia/Hyundai (already have veloster rallyX car), Vauxhal/Chevrolet(Brazil).
is there any possibility to put speedometer readings into WRC Onboards videos? they are going ridicoluosly fast in some of these curves,i am so intriged into how fast they are going!!!
