As a guy I must say that you're right. It's only hard to convince a guy that dancing really is a sport. But half of the competitors is female, and mostly they're really beautiful.

The first song is "La Bamba".  It's Mexican music. The original is a "mariachi" song originating in Veracruz, Mexico. It's also very popular as a "cumbia" style. Then rock'n'roll by Ritchie Valens in the 50's. The Mexican band "Control" has a good cumbia version.
