this was the most epic game (well my first game) when i was a kid, spike is such a beast character , with his super saying looking haircut , he is just beast. jake is beast 2 , there rivalry is awesum throught all ape escape games.

Ah I knew I was right. I kept thinking his name is Buzz isn't it? I'm from the UK so that must be why. I don't know why they need several different names I mean I can understand to an extent why they changed the Japanese name to English because it may be hard to pronounce but why is there two different names for the US and Britian? Lol anyway I love how they defy logic and gravity in this game :D

It's just a minor thing. In America Jake is a much more common name then Buzz is. It was most likely just a little thing to help Americans feel a "connection" to the characters.

It's a pretty lame strategy done by industries, but, hey, I personally prefer the name Jake to Buzz.
