HAVING A LAW that actually allows women to become sexually aroused to orgasm while breastfeeding will make it EXREMELY EASY for women to molest an 8 or 11 year old girl as she sits on the woman's lap because of the woman's hidden little engorged and swelled secret down there that no one can see. That explains why these women so often get away with being pedophiles.
The time has come for Free energy to be revealed ,But a few ppl make too many billions from our energy needs to let this technology be known,Find the real deal, a free energy device at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!
if they had told me to cover up while I was somewhere like that , I would have just ignored them . Or told them to fuck off . lol . I feed my son in public , uncovered all the time and its my right to do so . Why the hell would't it be ? Im feeding my child , not flashing for beads for God sake .
OK. I'm a first time mom, and STILL I would never go into a women's restroom to breastfeed. EVER. That is DISGUSTING... Have you seen women's restrooms? sanitary pads and tampons, puddles of urine. UMMMM... NO. I think society has been exposed to sex in advertisements a little too much, and now the woman's body is a symbol FOR sex. Women no longer have the right to thier bodies because we emulate 'sex'.
spit bully-you are an idiot, let me tell you something, you speak really tuff on line.let see what kind of man you are, when you have to discuse this issue around a real man who would bust your chops if you talked to my wife like you have to the women on this site.brestfeeding is as natural as you flogging your mule, the diference is flogging your mule is sexual, breastfeeding is not.you are a idiot.
spitbully-you are an idiot,i am a 40 year old man,not a child,i do not have kids, just had to set that record strait, now what the world is wrong with you people, men have nipples, women have nipples, would you tell me what the difference is,i would not want to eat in a bathroom, would you?i would commend a women for feeding there child before it starts to cry and make a fusse.
If it's offensive to see a woman breastfeed, don't look for fuck sake! I am NOT going to make my daughter go hungry to walk to a bathroom to feed her, just because it's 'Offensive' It's not like pissing, of having sex, it's feeding a baby. Cows don't have to cover up, a dog nursing her puppies isn't offensive, because it's seen as normal. WHY IS IT NOT THE SAME FOR HUMANS?!?!?!?!?
spacewurm, your an idiot. Breastfeeding is a beautiful part of life. I do believe that women should cover up a little for other kids around. I've seen women just pull out there breast and the world gets there view before the baby is takin out of the stroller. Who cares about the adults that decline. I just dont want my kids seeing an adults breast. I do believe tho that all women should have the right to breast feed where ever. the baby decides when they are hungry not us or law
This is such a controversial subject but it really needs to be addressed. Breastfeeding is a protected right that mothers and babies have. Lets be honest. We often see more skin than is exposed during breastfeeding at any grocery store during the summer. I've even seen more skin exposed sometimes at church.
I also want to point out how inappropriate it is to ask a woman to go to the restroom to breastfeed. I wouldn't expect anyone to eat their lunch by a toilet. It's unsanitary.
Oh well... I tried.... Either way, it doesn't matter, everyone against breastfeeding and breastfeeding in public is missing the point: This woman and her baby and all breastfeeding mothers and their babies have Florida Legislation protecting their right to breastfeed and anyone who tries to interfere with that breastfeeding is in violation of that legislation! The law permits breastfeeding in public, but not urinating in public. There is a reason: they are 2 different things! =)

Only hot moms with nice tits should be able to breast feed their baby in public. Seeing fat hepher and ugly moms "breast feeding" in public is just wrong.
Why not? Such culture of shame is the reason why such a beautiful natural act is now considered as dirty after generations long religious brainwashing.
Women's breasts look better than men's. They should flaunt it proudly and fearlessly just as men do without a sense of guilt and shame.
I will say this again: I see alot of people in public with way too much weight in the midsection & not enough shirt to cover it, seen thongs peeking out the back of pants, seen way too many buttcracks peeking, & I am TIRED of seeing all of these guy's choices in underwear because they feel the need to wear their pants around their ankles instead of on their waists & I don't ask any of them to cover up! I think the needs of child to EAT is just as important as someone's freedom of expression!
I saw a woman out on the curb in front of the dentist office and I thought to myself, why is she sitting in the heat outside? Did she want to? Was she asked to leave? Or did she volunteer to go b/c of privacy/her own comfort?
I have not problem w/ b/f in public, maybe it is a cultural thing, but its women who have no respect for the act itself . They do not see what they are doing as an act needed to be protected and valued as sacred and beautiful, not to be shared with mere strangers.
I don't think it loses its beauty even in the company of strangers. Part of the beauty in it is the fact that when you are gazing into your child's eyes while they are in absolute heaven because they are getting their milk and their mama, nothing else matters at that point. To know that no matter where that child is, all he needs is his mother to sustain himself is beautiful in itself. I almost think people should feel blessed when they get to witness such an act of love.
It's really hard to say whether most people are comfortable with it or not. There are an awful lot of moms out there and dads that are familiar with it.
I'm sorry I'm not answering your questions and I have been trying to stop being catty about it. It's not fair and it does not make for good conversation. I do appreciate your opinion.
I'm going off of statistics and surveys, which are not always a good representation of a population. Catty. Sorry, I was not referring to you, but women in general about not really answering my questions. You and a few more are WAY much more nicer than a lot of the titian beast with boobs on here.
I have an opinion and so do you and respect what everyone has to say. What is wrong with b/f? Nothing, but I admit that a woman who is not discreet about it puts me off.
I work with geriatric patients during the summer and Every morning I have deal with 110-300 lb ppl who DO NOT anyone to change them when they have urinated on themselves or have had bowel movements. No matter what method you use they are combative.
I have had people spit in my face, (in not on) I have had people punch, slap curse and so on. This is what CNAs or nurse techs have to CALMLY deal with 3-4 times a day. If I can take care of ppl who weigh 200 lbs, HECK, surely you can a baby!!
That's exactly why I breastfeed exactly where and when it is necessary to do so, I am taking care of my baby. If I didn't, that would be child abuse. To force a blanket over my child's head when he is obviously uncomfortable is also a form of child abuse.
Also, why don't you gently ask those elderly people to stop spitting in your face? What? They won't listen? Yeah, I used to be a CNA, too. I know what they deal with. It is much like dealing with children depending on the person that is.
I'm made that you missed my point. I DON"T stop doing what I have to do b/c they won't let me.
I don't want them to feel like I'm forcing them or but they don't know the diffrence just like your child. I'm glade you take care of your child. I passed by a nice woman at the dentist today who was breast feeding her child.
Question: Some kids pull off their clothes and diapers. When out in public do you let them run around butt naked? Compromise needs to be on both sides of the issue.
No, I don't just let my child run around naked out in public. I haven't really had that issue but who knows? If they did take their clothes off in public I wouldn't scold them and make them feel ashamed, though. I'm very sorry, but I fail to see how this related to breastfeeding. I'm sorry I might flash a little areola now and again. I've accidentally done that when I wasn't breastfeeding, just wearing a low cut shirt.
What is wrong with recognizing that any form of nudity is awkwardly uncomfortable in public and and taking your kid out of major view to breast feed since ur baby kicks cover??
Another analogy: I don't ask resident's/patients to stand up in the dinning or out in the lobby b/c they need to be changed. I have to protect their privacy. What is odd to me, is how a woman wouldn't want to protect her and her baby's privacy. Why would you want to share with the public you bonding b/f moments ???
Okay, my experience is that half the time I don't even realize I'm doing it. It is so second nature to me that when my baby cries he automatically goes to the boob. For me, it isn't dirty, my breasts cease to be anything other than food for my baby. Also, as I come from a breastfed family, it is more awkward for me to see someone formula feed their baby. I want to just yell at them but I don't because I know it is none of my business. Maybe others are the same way.
Also, there are people that are more modest and that's okay, too. I started out that way as a new mother. I still consider myself a somewhat modest person. I don't walk around in mini skirts that expose my behind and I keep my shirt on when I am not breastfeeding. Heck, my shirt stays on even when I am. You really see very little unless you are looking very close.
@ladyEulaelie I've worked at several old age homes as a CNA over the years and if you're getting assaulted 3-4 times a day then you are not doing your job well!!! Maybe you need a softer approach like the one a breastfeeding mother would take ;) More patience and willingness to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of the ones you care for.
Apparently, you have not taken care of a mentally ill resident, who fights everyone, particular ethnic looking people (I'm Black), b/c they think you are a "F*cking Japanese fly on the wall" or a "N*gger". I'm a sweet person, and I like helping people. Its too bad that someone like you who is a CNA can't sympathize w/ the reality of being a CNA. Reality: The ppl you take care of don't always appreciate you, but that's ok, you know you are doing right by them.
...after looking everywhere for a sandwich b/c he verbally and physically abused anyone who tried to feed him his dinner..... I took the time to talk to him. I knew he was in the war so I did my best not to scare him at night. I'd turn on his bathroom light instead of flipping on his overhead light, speed walking into his room and throwing his sheets back. I'm not the one. Don't EVER accuse ppl of doing crap like that. Thats not something cute to joke about or to say just.
The man I took care of was a homeless man. He was a war vetern and had a neat job I would have never guessed. How did I know that? B/c even though he called really terrible names and had kick me in the chest while I was changing his soiled linen or had spit in my face multiple times while changing his brief or gown b/c I refused to skip rounds and leave him in a mess, or yelled at me like he was my POW & I was about to beat him, after...
It's kind of funny that you say you are a right wing Conservative as if it has something to do with breastfeeding. So am I and I whole-heartedly support breastfeeding because I am educated in the benefits of it. Breastfeeding has nothing to do with conservative vs. liberal! It's just feeding a baby!
As a Certified Lactation Counselor with years of experience in counseling women with breastfeeding, I can tell you that "nipple confusion" is the wrong label for it, but giving bottles to a breastfed baby CAN hinder the breastfeeding itself! And, not to mention that formula is hugely inferior to breastfeeding!
i found that if i missed a feed it would take like 3 days of expressing extra to make up for the reduced production after missing a feed, so next baby i have i will feed where and when i like i was too shy last time and expressed for trips out and about i can tell you i won't bother ever again i will just feed the baby where ever i want and won't be shy
Yes, and now that you will have an older child, you will be forced to feed in public more often due to the fact that gathering up the older child from whatever it is that they're having fun doing and asking them to stand patiently in a bathroom stall while you feed your next baby will be a very hard and laboring task!!! But, that's because I have breastfed a combined total of more than 4 years and only someone with experience, can understand those kind of breastfeeding woes.
These are nothing more but blantant lies if you ask me. And with the excuses of not wanting to bottlefeed a baby because it will cause nipple confusion is nothing more but a myth and a theory that the lactivist cameup with an order to have one more excuse after the other
spitzbully: We both agree, along with more than half of the country that women need to cover up, weather or not their babies kick off the blanket or not. Women are smart enough to figure out brilliant, genius plan B and C when this happens.
One thing that I've heard, that is true is: Women are not faucets. At the same time there are a lot of things that we have to do that is considered to be hard and taxing. I think people should grow up and be considerate on both sides of the issue.
The car is a great place to breastfeed, if you have one (I say this because I work with alot of low income mothers & some don't actually have a car) & it's not parked forever away in a mall parking lot in the middle of August in Florida... well & if you have A/C! Again, situations are not always perfect for every mother to do everything & that includes discreetly breastfeeding.
To nicolblu: I dont buy those excuses one bit because every vehical has an airconditioning/heating built right into it. and if every low income mother doesnt have a car like you say, then i am pretty sure you would find a nother excuse why they cant use a bathroom or prepare a bottle in advance right??
What I meant about having a/c is "working" a/c. Since becoming a mother, I have owned at least 2 vehicles that did not have working a/c at some point or another & I live in FLORIDA! It is very hot! Yes, I can find another excuse why low income mothers can't just prep a bottle in advance. Have you ever priced a breast pump??? Remember I said they were low income mothers & bathrooms are a very unsanitary place for ANYONE to eat. When you decide to sit in a public restroom & eat, let me know.
most of the breast pumps that actually work are usually $70 and up around here. and then you have to buy bottles and nipples only to have your baby guzzle down a bottle in 2 seconds. This is stupid because breastfeeding is not that big of a deal.
Ummm $70 is a joke of a breastpump and not real efficient!!! The good breastpumps can run hundreds of dollars! But, well worth the investment! And if you can't afford to buy one, there are rentals and that's a little more affordable. Again, only people who have breastfed have the right to comment on what a breastfeeding mother can and can't do. That's just my opinion... and I think we have the same opinion. =)
Sorry I just have to ask another question or add another point... How do you know so much about breastfeeding?? How many children have you breastfed? Just curious, because anyone who seems to have so much knowledge of what breastfeeding mothers could or couldn't do, must have personal experience right? I am so sorry that breastfeeding offends you, but it is the best start at life that any mother could give her child. You seem very intelligent, so I hope that your feelilngs change in the future.
@spitzbully Why on earth should they prepare a bottle when they have breasts? My car doesn't have air conditioning, I've never owned a car that did. Even if it did have air conditioning I would feed my son wherever he needed to eat. Do you believe in God? Do you have any idea how absolutely ridiculous he would think you are being over breasts? He created those breasts for you to feed babies, not to hide because you think they are only for your husband.
I understand that women want to breast feed. GOOD, DO IT. I WOULD. I'm am personally offended by public sex, defecation and breast feeding. Sex is beautiful and needed to continue human life and we all have to take a dump and yes breast were made also for breast feeding but that doesn't mean that I feel comfortable w/ a woman exposing her bare breast. There are too many options, like a blanket or breastfeeding tops.
spitzbully as a mother who breastfeeds in public if someone stared at me while doing it i would probably have a few choice words for them meaning "shove off." when my baby needs to eat she eats. if i cover her with a blanket she is old enough now to move the blanket off of herself. if anyone has a problem with this i am sorry that you are insecure with the female body that seeing a breast in its conventional way bothers you but it isnt going to stop me from caring for my child.
Your kid can move the blankie him/her self? You can't gently tell you kid to keep stop or she dosen't get to breast feed. Women will use every excuse. If you wanted to stay covered you would be. Insecurity? Its called having respect for others and yourself. Why do you think B/F in public UNCOVERED is new? Most women used to have respect for themselves. Question: Would you change your baby's diaherra diaper next to ppl on a plane or in the bathroom? Why is B/F any different its a need
Is your breast milk baby steriods?? Seriously, can you NOT gain control of an 8 month old? Oh wait, I know why, cause you really are that weak. You walked right into that one.
I meant that you cannot reason with an 8 month old. It's a bit like reasoning with...well..you. Much like an infant, you lack the maturity and language skills to understand reasoning. Yes, I can overpower my child...oh forget it, this is ridiculous arguing over struggling over a blanket.
Get over yourself. Arguing over a blanket...hardly. Go straight down, turn a left and then sound out the sign on the door that says weh--meh--ns--nzzz restroom. CHeers! =)
I am very confused by spitzbully's comments... I have NEVER met a breastfeeding mother who wants to be famous for breastfeeding. Usually it's the opposite, they want to just be left alone and not bothered about brestfeeding. (And I have met MANY breastfeeding women as a Certified Lactation Counselor.) Having the right to breastfeed in public is not about the mother's right to breastfeed, it is about the child's right to eat.
Why is it ok to have young underdressed women posted in windows and billboards wearing nothing but there underwear for all to see. Some how we think that its ok, but yet`when a mother discreatly feed her baby thats so wrong. Whats wrong with our logic and common sense, for the men are you so stupid to think that its wrong for a woman to breast feed, yet you have no problem looking at girls in short shorts or mini skirts, some how U think if it isn't sexy or erotic it must be wrong??
People who have eyes, an imagination or a youtube account have right to comment. I don''t have to have a penis to know that urinating in public would make people uncomfortable to the point of offending.
Breast feeding is an act you do in private because it involves a part of the body that is normally only exposed in private. Thats all.
To LadyEulaelie: These women who breastfeed in public are usually self centered women just wanting to get 10-15 minutes of fame and are out for an audiance.
I dont see how hard it is to make any attempted to run to your car or run to the bathroom to be more private.
To Lilyfrost86: I dont think this is about putting your childs needs above the public. This is morely like wanting to be center of attention and getting 10-15 minutes of fame all because you have a child. Your child is not your pets or a valueble commodity that you can showoff like you have something to offer. The public does not owe you anything for procreating such as a round of applause. Its about using common sense and respecting everyone else around you
Exactly, and whats wrong with going to your car. ITS PERFECT. You can adjust the temp to your desire and you won't be in the heat.
Turn on all 4 vents; turn on every other vent; flip one vent up and another down. You won't be in the elements and you won't be looking like a hippie gorrilla with your baby, chop chops hanging bare teets with a crayon or game boy in their other hand.
To LadyEulaelie: I am a right wing Republican Conservative who believes in decency for America and setting good standards. If i were elected president of the United States, Breastfeeding in public would be prohibited in all 50 states. It would not be exempted from the public indecent exposure laws
What???? Prohibited, well I don't think that is right. People shouldn't be that intolerant. I'm referring to women who are extreme and thinks it cute to have babies who are just doing what they have to do, hanging on to them like they are in the zoo, no discreetness, no sense of keeping to themselves and wants to show the world that they are the modern day hippies, they are going to start some revolution..look at me I breast feed and my bare breast shouldn't make you uncomfortable. Got it.
To LadyEulaelie: I agree alot of these women want to be center of attention by having their 10-15 minutes of fame. Its just now more and more of these feminist women are starting to speakup about it where as 60 years before they new what common sense was when showing dignity. I have a question: You dont think that public breastfeeding is just as equally offensive as a person taking a poop in public?? I mean its prohibited to do that so why cant it be the same for breastfeeding in public?
No, a lot of these women just want to take care of their children. I don't think sit ins are necessary, b/c they really don't have an effect on how people feel about breast feeding especially in public. Really, its for media coverage, but what good is that really doing? These are women who are passionate about the right to take care of their babies,
To LadyEulaelie: My impression of sit-ins are these women who are trying to make a point like as if its a protest. These women do have every right to breastfeed, we are just asking them to do it with good taste like their car or a bathroom. If these women care about their rights, they would care about the rights for their child and not for themselves wanting to think that the whole world is some big living room. To breastfeed in public is all an attention thing for many attention grabbers
Being in the car is being in public. I do understand what you are saying, but If a woman is covered where nobody can see them, ppl who are passing by minding their business can't even tell that the woman is just breast feeding their child. If it were me, I would try to be in private b/c I think that its a very intimate, bonding situation with your baby, but women, like men, have lives that expand beyond their house and they are out just trying to make it through their day not get attention.
it's about making the world a more comfortable place to breastfeed. If you saw it all of the time, it wouldn't seem as taboo after a while. More young mothers would make the healthier choice for their babies and we would have smarter, stronger, and healthier people in this world. This is not a bad thing to promote healthy babies. They eventually grow up to be adults and how we treat them affects the types of people they will become.
but unfortunately, there are a few waky ones who damn ppl to hell if they are uncomfortable with HOW they are breast feeding, that is, they could care less if ppl are offended by a woman's inability, inclination or indifference to cover up. *COVER UP, not go hide in a bathroom or car. If they can't COVER UP then a trip to the car or restroom is necessary. Is it difficult? Breast feeding is not new, but now its a controversy, due to people who don't have the same concept of private/public.
To LadyEulaelie: Alot of women who think they feel the need to breastfeed publicly will give you 120 different excuses why they wont use a car or coverup. Many times when i asked women in these breastfeeding videos about that why is it so hard to cover up and many times their excuses are pretty much all the same.
"My baby doesnt like to be covered up in a hot blanket because he needs to breath. And when i try to keep him cover for discretion he will remove the blanket"
How can you possible compare feeding your child to defecating? It's an offensive and nonsensical analogy.
Feeding babies is what breasts were made for. There is nothing offensive, sexual or indecent about breastfeeding in public. Women should not have to hide to do such a natural thing!
really where do you live where i am from you can take a poop in public if there is no available rest room like breast feeding its a necessity you know if you have to poop you have to poob and if a baby has to be fed it has to be fed
LOL!!! This is too funny! I can't tell you how many times I have looked over at my second child and he had his pants down and to my horror, peeing in public! Granted, he was potty training at the time and I think a little confused, but he thought "I've gotta go, so I'm going!". I guess it's that way with all small children, especially breastfed babies who have no understanding of public vs private. They're just hungry! =)
@ladyEulaelie Seriously why are you afraid of breasts? Are they weapons of mass destruction? Are they trying to get your kids to do drugs? Are they a rapist hiding in your bedroom? They are for FEEDING BABIES FOR CRAPSAKE! What is dirty or indecent about feeding a baby? Do you see your breasts and all other women's breasts as that sexual?
You are exaggerating and over looking the point of my comment. Don't put words into my mouth. (Why are most of us women that way?) I NEVER said BF was dirty or indecent. I've never seen indecent exposure while a woman was BF, outside of demonstrations. I NEVER said that I was against BF. I feel that its VERY important. Any comment that is an "in between" comment is going to get flagged by ppl like you and then you manage to flip everything said upside down.
From a pro-public BF woman POV, the demonstrations, themselves, are fine, but IMO, a few of the participants have a chip on their shoulder & rave up ppl passing by exposing as of their breast as possible, w/ the goal to make the uncomfortable, more uncomfortable, w/o creating advantage to their babies to feed. Is that suppose to build up tolerance? Those few are just making a spectacle out of their babies. Never seen indecent exposure of a woman BF until I saw demonstrations.
And yes, while I recognize that ppl should grow up and see that breast are how a human mother feeds her young, of course I see other women's breast as well as my own breast, as sexual.
you know what i find interesting is the only people offended by breastfeeding (at least hte vast majority) are women. either they are jealous they could not breastfeed their own children, they are jealous of the other woman's breasts (i wonder if small breasted women get as much criticism??) or maybe they are mad their husbands might see the breasts and think they are better.
Ugh, I hate that they spoke of Michael Jackson. A breast and breastfeeding and different issues. Flashing during the superbowl isn't the same a feed a child.
Also, you people are IDIOTS to think this woman was breastfeeding her baby in public because she trying to cause a problem at the park. I live in TX & it's hot almost all yr round. Next time you go to eat in public, put a blanket over your head. My baby doesn't like it either. I can't believe the morons that are "offended" by a woman nursing her child. Some of you seem to have a lot to say about it & don't have either breasts or a child! Once again, it's a matter of purpose, not pleasure.
I don't have to have breast or a child to know that exposed breast under any circumstance is socially a faux pas, even during breast feeding.
Perhaps this woman shouldn't have brought her baby to the park. Its not always appropriate to bring your baby everywhere you go. I'm sure she knew that she would have to feed her child while at the park.
Unfortunately, her pleasure of amusement parks came before properly taking into account the predicament she would place her child and others in.
When a woman is breastfeeding it IS completely natural. Where do you think babies got their milk before the invention of the bottle? From breasts!!! That's why God filled them with milk. If a mother was unable to breastfeed her own child, there were nurses that produced milk & would breastfeed someone elses child. It has nothing to do with being a bible thumper or immodest. Breastfeeding is about purpose, not nudity!!

Breastfeeding mothers are in a hormone-induced coma. They think that everything they and their infant do is cute and should be tolerated by everyone around them. WRONG!! The world does not find your baby cute and we do not want to see and hear a slurping, burping, smelly baby on our walk in the park.
Here is my stance: I have one child and I was unable to breast feed him because my breasts would not express milk. However, I am pregnant and I plan to breastfeed my daughter, even if it means doing that uncovered in public. I will take the stance that it is a natural thing. I live in Wyoming and I may cover up when its cold, but other than that, I shouldn't have to. And as for "modesty" I want to know why men can walk around without a shirt and a woman cant breastfeed in public! Rediculous!

She can go into a private space of use a BOTTLE.This is pure CRAP..Pls don't use the argument that it's a "natural activity". So is taking a shit and we don't drop that in front of you. Have some class, you COW, for goodness' sake. OMG
What does being 27 have to do with anything??? Breastfeeding and having a bowel movement... or urinating for that matter have only one thing in common and that is that they all come out of the human body. That's it! Otherwise, 2 of those are waste products and the other is a vital food source to babies for the first year of their life. Just because I know the benefits to breastfeeding, makes me more informed than you! How does being informed make me an idiot? Breastfeeding is best!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
This just shows what a true idiot you are...it is the issue of doing anything that can be done in private and SHOULD be done in private, is NOT....So sad that your trailerpark mentality is showing...I hope that you have not and will not reproduce...
Since the beginning of the human race, babies have been breastfed! That's what breasts are for & asking someone to deny vital food from a small child who has to eat very frequently just because she is in public is just wrong! And by the way, because my children were all breastfed means that they will be smarter than this conversation! I will not indulge your ignorance any longer, except to say that FL law says this woman (and other women) had every right to BF in public & you have no argument.
Last thing... Statistics have shown that those with more education & higher yearly income are more likely to breastfeed. Trust me, working with the WIC program has proven this fact to me. Breastfeeding is more healthy for the baby & the mother & I hope that those who chose to do the best thing for themsevles & their baby will not be bothered by opinions like yours. Thank you for your time and I hope that you will breastfeed when/if you have your own children. Have a nice day!
Just think of how much less intelligent they would have been had they not been breastfed. I wish that I had been breastfed, maybe I'd be healthier and smarter. (= To clarify, the studies just mean that breastfeeding will help those advance to their full potential better. And other studies show that those that have been breastfed, on average, have about a 5 point higher IQ. I could have used that 5 points! (=
obviously this woman was breastfeeding with her breast exposed...instead of the taking the needed steps to ensure she was breastfeeding in a discreet manner. Some women feel that they should be able to just plop out there boobs for all the world to see with no problem. I'm sure had this woman not been making a specticle of herself this would have never happened. It becomes indecent exposure in my book when she exposed herself unecessarily. Goodness is there no modesty left today??!
Americans are so uptight about breasts! Stop sexualizing breasts and think nourishment for baby! Breasts are made for that, not for men's sexual pleasure, so change your mindset! Breastfeeding is so natural and beautiful. I don't bat an eyelash when I see a woman feeding her child in public. Breastfeeding women don't take their tops off and expose their entire breasts for the public to see, so don't overreact to a quick glimpse of a nipple before it goes into the child's mouth.
Why should you even care what people think if you claim to use discretion anyways?? Would we be having this same arguement if your rights to breastfeed were denied in a public nursing room?? No we wouldnt since half of these women who claim to use discretion, dont use it at all
Ok your saying you wouldnt bat an eyelas if a women was feeding her child in public throw open breast right?? What if a grownmans mouth was on a womens nipples? Would you not overreact to that too and bat an eyelash over it like as if a childs mouth is on a womens breast? What if a mans genitals are exposed in full public veiw while urinating? Would you not bat an eyelash to that either??

Hi everyone. I am on my boyfriend's account right now but I wanted to say something. Thank you spitzbully. I am a female and even I find it incredibly rude and repulsive to see other chick's tits with a baby latched on it in public. No thanks. If I really wanted to see breasts I would just look in the mirror. I get that it's natural but so is vomitting and giving birth however, would you hang your vagina out in public for everyone to watch? No I don't think you would.
For Cheryl Cruz the women who was escorted for not covering up while breastfeeding at Universal Studios, why in the hell couldnt this wome make it easier for herself to just go to her damn car?? This women was out for some agenda to try and sue the theme park for money. Breastfeeding your child is one thing but to try and engange on some complaints to sue the company is a nother. This women is trash and doesnt deserve to have kids
It can be hard/impossible to keep the blanket from falling off when feeding a child, and it can be even more difficult to help a baby find the nipple and latch on while under a blanket.
mwc1fan says: "It can be hard/impossible to keep the blanket from falling off when feeding a child, and it can be even more difficult to help a baby find the nipple and latch on while under a blanket".
Yeah sure, you are such a bullsh*t lyer ok!!!, we all heard that bullsh*t excuse of a lie one too many times from the breastfeeding rights militant b*tches as a coverup to go and bare their junk in public. Excuses excuses excuses you militant trailor trash wh*res are full of lies
mwc1fan says: "mwc1fan says: "It can be hard/impossible to keep the blanket from falling off when feeding a child, and it can be even more difficult to help a baby find the nipple and latch on while under a blanket".
Hmmmm lets see (sarcastic) its difficult to help a baby find the nipple and latch on while under a blanket yet its not difficult to whipout your tits in public for everyone else to see as a free show right?? Your such a f*cking lyer and i dont believe that bullsh*t one bit
You trailor trash wh*res are so full of excuses "Oh the baby doesnt like being covered up because the blanket is too hot" Yeah right. "Sometimes its never easy finding a private exclusive area to breastfeed my child" Ok we all heard that copout excuse half a dozen times. "Oh a baby will refuse a rubber nipple on a bottle over breastmilk" we all know thats bullshit. "Oh a baby doesnt like being breastfed in a car because it might be either too hot or too cold"
Breastfeeding with a blanket over the baby isn't as easy as you would think. When you are first learning to breastfeed you do need to see what you are doing to make sure the baby is latched on right. I believe a woman should have the right to breastfeeding anyway she wants if she want to go without covering up that is perfectly normal and fine.
Urinating and masturbating is normal and natural too, but i wouldnt recommend doing that in public so why should it be any different with breastfeeding??
Breastfeeding with a blanket over the baby isn't as easy as you would think. Breastfeeding with a blanket over the baby isn't as easy as you would think".
I dont believe that bullsh*t excuse of a lie one bit mwc1fan. Thats just an excuse so you can justify by looking for any reason by not making any attempted to cover up or be inconspicuous. Excuses excuses excuses, you heard one lie you pretty muc heard them all and your just down right lazy
How many times have you tried to breastfeed a baby under a blanket? Have you tried to fix a latch without seeing it? Have you ever had to comfort a baby crying from being overheated under a blanket? One that rips a blanket off? One that doesn't like to be stifled and screams while you try to cover? Have you dealt with a cranky baby that just wants to nurse before?
I doubt it. You obviously DON'T know how hard breastfeeding is for some women, why add un-needed stress on top of it.
Listen Catwalksymphony...with the same old line "babies dont like being fed under a hot blanket is a COPOUT EXCUSE that indicates that you are an exhibitionist. It also does mean that you are lazy and not trying hard enough to make any attempts to be inconspicuous
I hate that "try eating with a blanket over your head" argument. Here's the difference, genius...we grown-ups eat with forks and plates. It is actually impractical to eat with a blanket over our heads. Babies can see out of a nursing shawl just fine. They are designed so that babies can see up through the top of them while they are being fed. Women who complain about not being able to expose their breast in public are the ones who are being indecent.
Yeah how dare this woman give nurishment to her child in public. You know what how dare her for having breasts in the first place they're just so damn offending, especially to dixie212's poor baby. Come on that baby is never going to learn to hate it's body if we keep letting women brestfeed in public. I know how about you brestfeed under a burka dixie212? Then no one has to even see your face because it's so offensive.
Most states have legislation saying that nursing in public can not be considered indecent exposure, so not sure what "responsible" nursing is.
I do know I live in FL and there are days where it is WAY too hot when outside to put another layer over my nursing child. I also know that when I nurse people can't see a darn thing, as most of the time, people don't even realize what I am doing.
When will these companies learn to not infringe on a woman's right to feed her child?
Nobody is infringing on anyones right to breastfeed idiot!!!. Just be considerate thats all, let me ask you this: just how in the hell is it gonna hinder a babies feeding time if asked to coverup or use a car??
nope i'm not obsessive, i just state the facts that breastfeeding in public is rude behaviour. Its one thing to care and feed your child, but to make a point goes a bit too far. This women who brought her baby to Universal Studios obviously was up to no good and was out for an agenda. This women wanted to engage on the complaints by using her child for her own selfish needs to try and win some money in a class action lawsuit. This women is trash
Screw that bullshit if i was one of the staff members working for Universal Studios i wouldnt appologize. These people were just doing their jobs by looking out for the best interest of their guest who come into the theme park to have a good time. They asked her to coverup, now why couldnt she just atleast do that?? If she was really caring for her child, she wouldnt have made it a bigger problem than it should have been. Obviously this women was out for attention and to try and sue for money

Excuse me? I think that the park was within their rights to ask the mother to at least cover up or go somewhere private. Should the others in the park have to see her pull out her boob for all to see a freak show?? Ever heard of others rights? DUH!
How many time do I have to ask you to leave me alone before you listen? If breast feeding offends you so much then why do you keep looking it up?? Get a life. Get psychiatric help. Get on some good meds and grow the fuck up. I don't fight with little boys. Keep running your mouth and don't be too surprised if your account gets suspended. Please do the world a favor and never, ever have children.

No your the one who is acting rude and inconsiderate and thats what breastfeeding in public is. If you dont like what i post, then why do you look ha? Hey fair is fair, you wanna throw your junk right in my face then expect me to do the same thing back
It doesn't really matter that you don't like breastfeeding in public seeing as you don't have breasts or babies. You seem to think that the only reason women breastfeed in public is to bother people. You sexualize breasts and breastfeeding and because of that you will never understand where any of us are coming from. I have beast fed in public many times and I never been asked to cover up. The world doesn't revolve around you and your ignorance. You are a sociopath. Get help. You need it.
Look spitz - you are an idiot obsessed with breastfeeding. I don't know what your issue ie - talk to a shrink about it.
And yes - sorry it WOULD hinder my ability to feed my child to always cover up or go to a car. I am breastfeeding my second child now - I have never gotten a single bad look or comment - only compliments.
You are an idiot with an issue. Get psychiatric help.

KrisPBG says: "And yes - sorry it WOULD hinder my ability to feed my child to always cover up or go to a car".
So let me get this straight (sarcastic): you have a problem always covering up all the time and always going to feed your baby in a car yet you dont seem to have a problem always baring a full portion of your skin in public for the rest of the world to see ha?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
We all know your comments are excuses excuses excuses and lies to try and cover up ones tracks. I dont believe you one bit KrisPBG because there is more than 100 optional ways of finding private exclusive areas to breastfeed and so many places that is assesible. Your just lazy as to what it boils down to and your really in this for attention because if you werent, you would try to make some effort on keeping it away from the public eye
When I feed my child there is no skin showing you pervert. Get a CLUE! People don't even realize I am FEEDING my child! I don't need to walk to a car with my 4 year old in tow, to feed my child. When I do feed him, there is no "public eye" that is an issue - you can't tell you schmock.
I'm all for breastfeeding in public, appreciate the right to do so and breastfed my son for 9 months. I always kept a light weight shawl with me and used it while I breastfed in public. It's the polite and civilized thing to do. My 'baby' is now 9 and I am disgusted by mothers who make no attempt to be discreet. How dare they not recognize my right to not expose my child to their breasts! Nursing mothers, please ...
Nursing is why breasts were made. By design or evolution, Hey.. thats an interesting topic, if evolution is the answer, then womens breasts will fall off as they aren't used! Leave the nice lady alone. She is just feeding her baby.
what a sad sad world... Seeing all these rules constructed by some Ignorant individuals, approved by ignorant societies, practiced by brainless human being. Explain to me exactly who Gave the OK for a man to be half naked in a street but not Ok for a Woman to feed her child publicly. If people See public breastfeeding as a Sexual act, then the problem is not in the act but in the mentality of the people who see it as one!!
There is nothing sexual about breastfeeding. It is NOT adult natured. Breasts were intended to feed children, not be sexual objects and it is humanity that has turned them into such. If you have a problem with it then look away and I highly doubt that children will be scarred for life by seeing it. "Mommy what's she doing?" Reply with "She's feeding her baby sweety" and there you go. The child now sees that breasts are natural and have a BIOLOGICAL purpose. What is so wrong with teaching that?
Wait a minute... Do these 1/2 naked women on the covers of MAXIM or SPIKE TV have to cover up their breasts or is it just women who nurture their children???
I don't care if she pulls out her boob, she has the right to breastfeed in public.
It seems to me like some people are ignoring or plain ignorant of the fact that some babies HATE to be covered up while they are feeding. I wouldn't like it either to be honest.
We in American need to loosen up. Are those pictures of Mary nursing baby Jesus sexual? NOOOOOOOOOO!Are they offensive? NoOOOOO!!!And neither is it when another mother does the same to her child.
I can't believe you morons just compared peeing pooping and having sex with feeding. Do you cover up your fugly fat american mouth with a towel when stuffing them with food? Or is covering up needed because *blush* *hypocricy ALERT* breasts *hypocricy ALERT* *blush* are involved? Or are you just bitter because your mum didn't breastfed you? Or even hugged for that matter? Poor little American hypocrite jelaous fat inbreds.

and rectums were made for excreting, and urinary tracts were made for urinating. But doing them PUBLICLY is a taboo. Why can't I expose myself while urinating itn the park? Its completely natural.
Okay maybe this will make more sense: Can a woman walk around with her top off? No. But just because there's a baby attached, it becomes a "natural process". THAT is hypocracy.
By the way, I am a twin & my mother breastfed my brother and I, and yet she never undressed infront of strangers in public...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
...but when she needed to, she would always cover with a towel.
PS if the woman was breastfeeding like the other woman in the video, I dont think anyone would (or should) have a problem. But what probably happened was she had her breast out, flapping in the wind, like most of these videos on youtube.
PPS I will have children, and they will grow up to be honorable, respectable, moral adults.
Your still not getting it. Once you actually have children, come talk to me. Until then, you really can't say much. You are sexualizing the act of beastfeeding. To you it is dishonorable, disrespectful, and unmoral to breastfeed in public. You obviously have a long way to go in the growing up department honey. How do you know her breast was "flapping in the wind"? Did you know that most babies cannot breastfeed while covered? Probably not.But then again your ignorance doesn't really surprise me.
Really and how do you know that babies don't like to be covered, maybe you have 5 kids and all 5 wouldn't eat whilecovered, maybe your kids are just messed up. Because there are over a million other kids out there, so how do you know? Oh that is right you don't KNOW anymore than MacBookHero Knows.
Have you ever tried eating with a blanket over your head--or breathing? How did you like it? Many babies despise it so much that they will cry and/or refuse to nurse when under a blanket, because they cannot breathe as well or simply because they cannot look at mom while eating, something many babies like to do. It can be hard/impossible to keep the blanket from falling off when feeding a child, and it can be even more difficult to help a baby find the nipple and latch on while under a blanket.
Ohhh two replys. I feel special. Why does it matter if you have a twin? Im just curious. What does that have to do with this? And yes, I doubt your mother undressed infront of strangers. That would imply she was being sexual. But she was breastfeeding...which is not sexual. See the difference? You don't even have breasts! If you didn't think of breastfeeding as sexual, why are you looking at videos of it on youtube?? If it bothers you so much DON'T LOOK!! Simple. Easy.

How incredibly sad.

I do believe tho that all women should have the right to breast feed where ever. the baby decides when they are hungry not us or law
kallygirlie 2 years ago 3
This is such a controversial subject but it really needs to be addressed. Breastfeeding is a protected right that mothers and babies have. Lets be honest. We often see more skin than is exposed during breastfeeding at any grocery store during the summer. I've even seen more skin exposed sometimes at church.
I also want to point out how inappropriate it is to ask a woman to go to the restroom to breastfeed. I wouldn't expect anyone to eat their lunch by a toilet. It's unsanitary.
naparq 2 years ago 10
Oh well... =)

They do not see what they are doing as an act needed to be protected and valued as sacred and beautiful, not to be shared with mere strangers.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
I don't think it loses its beauty even in the company of strangers. Part of the beauty in it is the fact that when you are gazing into your child's eyes while they are in absolute heaven because they are getting their milk and their mama, nothing else matters at that point. To know that no matter where that child is, all he needs is his mother to sustain himself is beautiful in itself. I almost think people should feel blessed when they get to witness such an act of love.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
It beautiful! Sex isn't dirty but we dont do it on st. corners.
How do you know its not breast milk instead of formula or that they are not able to breast feed?
By they way most or not comfortable w/ women b/f in public, sadly.
Still my questions go unanswered. Its hard to find anyone who will properly answer without being bias or turning catty.
You do cover yourself. You said that you use your shirt. All well and good. It dosen't have to be a blanket, it could be anything.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago 2
It's really hard to say whether most people are comfortable with it or not. There are an awful lot of moms out there and dads that are familiar with it.
I'm sorry I'm not answering your questions and I have been trying to stop being catty about it. It's not fair and it does not make for good conversation. I do appreciate your opinion.
jessimo1985 2 years ago

If I can take care of ppl who weigh 200 lbs, HECK, surely you can a baby!!
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
That's exactly why I breastfeed exactly where and when it is necessary to do so, I am taking care of my baby. If I didn't, that would be child abuse. To force a blanket over my child's head when he is obviously uncomfortable is also a form of child abuse.
Also, why don't you gently ask those elderly people to stop spitting in your face? What? They won't listen? Yeah, I used to be a CNA, too. I know what they deal with. It is much like dealing with children depending on the person that is.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
I'm made that you missed my point. I DON"T stop doing what I have to do b/c they won't let me.
I don't want them to feel like I'm forcing them or but they don't know the diffrence just like your child. I'm glade you take care of your child. I passed by a nice woman at the dentist today who was breast feeding her child.
Question: Some kids pull off their clothes and diapers. When out in public do you let them run around butt naked? Compromise needs to be on both sides of the issue.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
No, I don't just let my child run around naked out in public. I haven't really had that issue but who knows? If they did take their clothes off in public I wouldn't scold them and make them feel ashamed, though. I'm very sorry, but I fail to see how this related to breastfeeding. I'm sorry I might flash a little areola now and again. I've accidentally done that when I wasn't breastfeeding, just wearing a low cut shirt.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
What is wrong with recognizing that any form of nudity is awkwardly uncomfortable in public and and taking your kid out of major view to breast feed since ur baby kicks cover??
Another analogy: I don't ask resident's/patients to stand up in the dinning or out in the lobby b/c they need to be changed. I have to protect their privacy. What is odd to me, is how a woman wouldn't want to protect her and her baby's privacy. Why would you want to share with the public you bonding b/f moments ???
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
Okay, my experience is that half the time I don't even realize I'm doing it. It is so second nature to me that when my baby cries he automatically goes to the boob. For me, it isn't dirty, my breasts cease to be anything other than food for my baby. Also, as I come from a breastfed family, it is more awkward for me to see someone formula feed their baby. I want to just yell at them but I don't because I know it is none of my business. Maybe others are the same way.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
Also, there are people that are more modest and that's okay, too. I started out that way as a new mother. I still consider myself a somewhat modest person. I don't walk around in mini skirts that expose my behind and I keep my shirt on when I am not breastfeeding. Heck, my shirt stays on even when I am. You really see very little unless you are looking very close.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
@ladyEulaelie I've worked at several old age homes as a CNA over the years and if you're getting assaulted 3-4 times a day then you are not doing your job well!!! Maybe you need a softer approach like the one a breastfeeding mother would take ;) More patience and willingness to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of the ones you care for.

I'm a sweet person, and I like helping people. Its too bad that someone like you who is a CNA can't sympathize w/ the reality of being a CNA. Reality: The ppl you take care of don't always appreciate you, but that's ok, you know you are doing right by them.

It's kind of funny that you say you are a right wing Conservative as if it has something to do with breastfeeding. So am I and I whole-heartedly support breastfeeding because I am educated in the benefits of it. Breastfeeding has nothing to do with conservative vs. liberal! It's just feeding a baby!
nicolblu 2 years ago
As a Certified Lactation Counselor with years of experience in counseling women with breastfeeding, I can tell you that "nipple confusion" is the wrong label for it, but giving bottles to a breastfed baby CAN hinder the breastfeeding itself! And, not to mention that formula is hugely inferior to breastfeeding!
nicolblu 2 years ago
i found that if i missed a feed it would take like 3 days of expressing extra to make up for the reduced production after missing a feed, so next baby i have i will feed where and when i like i was too shy last time and expressed for trips out and about i can tell you i won't bother ever again i will just feed the baby where ever i want and won't be shy
routex7044 2 years ago
Yes, and now that you will have an older child, you will be forced to feed in public more often due to the fact that gathering up the older child from whatever it is that they're having fun doing and asking them to stand patiently in a bathroom stall while you feed your next baby will be a very hard and laboring task!!! But, that's because I have breastfed a combined total of more than 4 years and only someone with experience, can understand those kind of breastfeeding woes.
nicolblu 2 years ago

Again, situations are not always perfect for every mother to do everything & that includes discreetly breastfeeding.
nicolblu 2 years ago
To nicolblu: I dont buy those excuses one bit because every vehical has an airconditioning/heating built right into it. and if every low income mother doesnt have a car like you say, then i am pretty sure you would find a nother excuse why they cant use a bathroom or prepare a bottle in advance right??
spitzbully 2 years ago
What I meant about having a/c is "working" a/c. Since becoming a mother, I have owned at least 2 vehicles that did not have working a/c at some point or another & I live in FLORIDA! It is very hot! Yes, I can find another excuse why low income mothers can't just prep a bottle in advance. Have you ever priced a breast pump??? Remember I said they were low income mothers & bathrooms are a very unsanitary place for ANYONE to eat. When you decide to sit in a public restroom & eat, let me know.
nicolblu 2 years ago
most of the breast pumps that actually work are usually $70 and up around here. and then you have to buy bottles and nipples only to have your baby guzzle down a bottle in 2 seconds. This is stupid because breastfeeding is not that big of a deal.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
Ummm $70 is a joke of a breastpump and not real efficient!!! The good breastpumps can run hundreds of dollars! But, well worth the investment! And if you can't afford to buy one, there are rentals and that's a little more affordable. Again, only people who have breastfed have the right to comment on what a breastfeeding mother can and can't do. That's just my opinion... and I think we have the same opinion. =)
nicolblu 2 years ago 2
Sorry I just have to ask another question or add another point... How do you know so much about breastfeeding?? How many children have you breastfed? Just curious, because anyone who seems to have so much knowledge of what breastfeeding mothers could or couldn't do, must have personal experience right? I am so sorry that breastfeeding offends you, but it is the best start at life that any mother could give her child. You seem very intelligent, so I hope that your feelilngs change in the future.
nicolblu 2 years ago 2
@spitzbully Why on earth should they prepare a bottle when they have breasts? My car doesn't have air conditioning, I've never owned a car that did. Even if it did have air conditioning I would feed my son wherever he needed to eat. Do you believe in God? Do you have any idea how absolutely ridiculous he would think you are being over breasts? He created those breasts for you to feed babies, not to hide because you think they are only for your husband.
jodee934 8 months ago
I understand that women want to breast feed. GOOD, DO IT. I WOULD. I'm am personally offended by public sex, defecation and breast feeding. Sex is beautiful and needed to continue human life and we all have to take a dump and yes breast were made also for breast feeding but that doesn't mean that I feel comfortable w/ a woman exposing her bare breast. There are too many options, like a blanket or breastfeeding tops.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
spitzbully as a mother who breastfeeds in public if someone stared at me while doing it i would probably have a few choice words for them meaning "shove off." when my baby needs to eat she eats. if i cover her with a blanket she is old enough now to move the blanket off of herself. if anyone has a problem with this i am sorry that you are insecure with the female body that seeing a breast in its conventional way bothers you but it isnt going to stop me from caring for my child.
uicanannain 2 years ago
Your kid can move the blankie him/her self? You can't gently tell you kid to keep stop or she dosen't get to breast feed. Women will use every excuse. If you wanted to stay covered you would be. Insecurity? Its called having respect for others and yourself. Why do you think B/F in public UNCOVERED is new? Most women used to have respect for themselves. Question: Would you change your baby's diaherra diaper next to ppl on a plane or in the bathroom? Why is B/F any different its a need
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
For some reason my 8 month old just won't listen when I gently tell him to stop pulling the blanket up. Oh wait, I know why, he's only 8 MONTHS OLD!

Is your breast milk baby steriods?? Seriously, can you NOT gain control of an 8 month old? Oh wait, I know why, cause you really are that weak. You walked right into that one.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
I meant that you cannot reason with an 8 month old. It's a bit like reasoning with...well..you. Much like an infant, you lack the maturity and language skills to understand reasoning. Yes, I can overpower my child...oh forget it, this is ridiculous arguing over struggling over a blanket.
jessimo1985 2 years ago

I am very confused by spitzbully's comments... I have NEVER met a breastfeeding mother who wants to be famous for breastfeeding. Usually it's the opposite, they want to just be left alone and not bothered about brestfeeding. (And I have met MANY breastfeeding women as a Certified Lactation Counselor.) Having the right to breastfeed in public is not about the mother's right to breastfeed, it is about the child's right to eat.
nicolblu 2 years ago
Why is it ok to have young underdressed women posted in windows and billboards wearing nothing but there underwear for all to see. Some how we think that its ok, but yet`when a mother discreatly feed her baby thats so wrong. Whats wrong with our logic and common sense, for the men are you so stupid to think that its wrong for a woman to breast feed, yet you have no problem looking at girls in short shorts or mini skirts, some how U think if it isn't sexy or erotic it must be wrong??
LilyFrost86 2 years ago
People who have eyes, an imagination or a youtube account have right to comment. I don''t have to have a penis to know that urinating in public would make people uncomfortable to the point of offending.
Breast feeding is an act you do in private because it involves a part of the body that is normally only exposed in private. Thats all.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
To LadyEulaelie: These women who breastfeed in public are usually self centered women just wanting to get 10-15 minutes of fame and are out for an audiance.
I dont see how hard it is to make any attempted to run to your car or run to the bathroom to be more private.
spitzbully 2 years ago
would YOU only eat in your car or in the bathroom? Grow up!

ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
i fail to see what is self centered about putting your childs needs above your public image?
LilyFrost86 2 years ago
To Lilyfrost86: I dont think this is about putting your childs needs above the public. This is morely like wanting to be center of attention and getting 10-15 minutes of fame all because you have a child. Your child is not your pets or a valueble commodity that you can showoff like you have something to offer. The public does not owe you anything for procreating such as a round of applause. Its about using common sense and respecting everyone else around you
spitzbully 2 years ago
Exactly, and whats wrong with going to your car. ITS PERFECT. You can adjust the temp to your desire and you won't be in the heat.
Turn on all 4 vents; turn on every other vent; flip one vent up and another down. You won't be in the elements and you won't be looking like a hippie gorrilla with your baby, chop chops hanging bare teets with a crayon or game boy in their other hand.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
To LadyEulaelie: I am a right wing Republican Conservative who believes in decency for America and setting good standards. If i were elected president of the United States, Breastfeeding in public would be prohibited in all 50 states. It would not be exempted from the public indecent exposure laws
spitzbully 2 years ago
Got it.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
To LadyEulaelie: I agree alot of these women want to be center of attention by having their 10-15 minutes of fame. Its just now more and more of these feminist women are starting to speakup about it where as 60 years before they new what common sense was when showing dignity. I have a question: You dont think that public breastfeeding is just as equally offensive as a person taking a poop in public?? I mean its prohibited to do that so why cant it be the same for breastfeeding in public?
spitzbully 2 years ago
No, a lot of these women just want to take care of their children. I don't think sit ins are necessary, b/c they really don't have an effect on how people feel about breast feeding especially in public. Really, its for media coverage, but what good is that really doing? These are women who are passionate about the right to take care of their babies,
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
To LadyEulaelie: My impression of sit-ins are these women who are trying to make a point like as if its a protest. These women do have every right to breastfeed, we are just asking them to do it with good taste like their car or a bathroom. If these women care about their rights, they would care about the rights for their child and not for themselves wanting to think that the whole world is some big living room. To breastfeed in public is all an attention thing for many attention grabbers
spitzbully 2 years ago
Being in the car is being in public. I do understand what you are saying, but If a woman is covered where nobody can see them, ppl who are passing by minding their business can't even tell that the woman is just breast feeding their child. If it were me, I would try to be in private b/c I think that its a very intimate, bonding situation with your baby, but women, like men, have lives that expand beyond their house and they are out just trying to make it through their day not get attention.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
it's about making the world a more comfortable place to breastfeed. If you saw it all of the time, it wouldn't seem as taboo after a while. More young mothers would make the healthier choice for their babies and we would have smarter, stronger, and healthier people in this world. This is not a bad thing to promote healthy babies. They eventually grow up to be adults and how we treat them affects the types of people they will become.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
but unfortunately, there are a few waky ones who damn ppl to hell if they are uncomfortable with HOW they are breast feeding, that is, they could care less if ppl are offended by a woman's inability, inclination or indifference to cover up. *COVER UP, not go hide in a bathroom or car. If they can't COVER UP then a trip to the car or restroom is necessary. Is it difficult? Breast feeding is not new, but now its a controversy, due to people who don't have the same concept of private/public.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
To LadyEulaelie: Alot of women who think they feel the need to breastfeed publicly will give you 120 different excuses why they wont use a car or coverup. Many times when i asked women in these breastfeeding videos about that why is it so hard to cover up and many times their excuses are pretty much all the same.
"My baby doesnt like to be covered up in a hot blanket because he needs to breath. And when i try to keep him cover for discretion he will remove the blanket"
spitzbully 2 years ago
How can you possible compare feeding your child to defecating? It's an offensive and nonsensical analogy.
Feeding babies is what breasts were made for. There is nothing offensive, sexual or indecent about breastfeeding in public. Women should not have to hide to do such a natural thing!
plonkeh 2 years ago
really where do you live where i am from you can take a poop in public if there is no available rest room like breast feeding its a necessity you know if you have to poop you have to poob and if a baby has to be fed it has to be fed
routex7044 2 years ago
nicolblu 2 years ago
@ladyEulaelie Seriously why are you afraid of breasts? Are they weapons of mass destruction? Are they trying to get your kids to do drugs? Are they a rapist hiding in your bedroom? They are for FEEDING BABIES FOR CRAPSAKE! What is dirty or indecent about feeding a baby? Do you see your breasts and all other women's breasts as that sexual?
jodee934 8 months ago
@jodee934
Any comment that is an "in between" comment is going to get flagged by ppl like you and then you manage to flip everything said upside down.
ladyEulaelie 8 months ago
@jodee934
Never seen indecent exposure of a woman BF until I saw demonstrations.
ladyEulaelie 8 months ago
And yes, while I recognize that ppl should grow up and see that breast are how a human mother feeds her young, of course I see other women's breast as well as my own breast, as sexual.
ladyEulaelie 8 months ago
I don't agree with your logic but I am so calling my baby "chop chops" from now on. That's hilarious.
jessimo1985 2 years ago
you know what i find interesting is the only people offended by breastfeeding (at least hte vast majority) are women. either they are jealous they could not breastfeed their own children, they are jealous of the other woman's breasts (i wonder if small breasted women get as much criticism??) or maybe they are mad their husbands might see the breasts and think they are better.
why dont you tell me which one of these it is?
btw breastfeeding is nothing like pissing.

Ugh, I hate that they spoke of Michael Jackson. A breast and breastfeeding and different issues. Flashing during the superbowl isn't the same a feed a child.
36hesperia36 2 years ago 2
Also, you people are IDIOTS to think this woman was breastfeeding her baby in public because she trying to cause a problem at the park. I live in TX & it's hot almost all yr round. Next time you go to eat in public, put a blanket over your head. My baby doesn't like it either. I can't believe the morons that are "offended" by a woman nursing her child. Some of you seem to have a lot to say about it & don't have either breasts or a child! Once again, it's a matter of purpose, not pleasure.
JELLYBEANZ1209 2 years ago 4
I don't have to have breast or a child to know that exposed breast under any circumstance is socially a faux pas, even during breast feeding.
Perhaps this woman shouldn't have brought her baby to the park. Its not always appropriate to bring your baby everywhere you go. I'm sure she knew that she would have to feed her child while at the park.
Unfortunately, her pleasure of amusement parks came before properly taking into account the predicament she would place her child and others in.
ladyEulaelie 2 years ago
When a woman is breastfeeding it IS completely natural. Where do you think babies got their milk before the invention of the bottle? From breasts!!! That's why God filled them with milk. If a mother was unable to breastfeed her own child, there were nurses that produced milk & would breastfeed someone elses child. It has nothing to do with being a bible thumper or immodest. Breastfeeding is about purpose, not nudity!!

Breastfeeding mothers are in a hormone-induced coma. They think that everything they and their infant do is cute and should be tolerated by everyone around them. WRONG!! The world does not find your baby cute and we do not want to see and hear a slurping, burping, smelly baby on our walk in the park.
nefeli1969 2 years ago
Here is my stance: I have one child and I was unable to breast feed him because my breasts would not express milk. However, I am pregnant and I plan to breastfeed my daughter, even if it means doing that uncovered in public. I will take the stance that it is a natural thing. I live in Wyoming and I may cover up when its cold, but other than that, I shouldn't have to. And as for "modesty" I want to know why men can walk around without a shirt and a woman cant breastfeed in public! Rediculous!

What does being 27 have to do with anything??? Breastfeeding and having a bowel movement... or urinating for that matter have only one thing in common and that is that they all come out of the human body. That's it! Otherwise, 2 of those are waste products and the other is a vital food source to babies for the first year of their life. Since the beginning of the human race, babies have been breastfed! Intelligence is inherited. I've met a LOT of dumb people that were apparently breastfed as infants. Your theory has no merit.
nefeli1969 2 years ago

Breastfeeding women don't take their tops off and expose their entire breasts for the public to see, so don't overreact to a quick glimpse of a nipple before it goes into the child's mouth.
krazymukluk 3 years ago
Why should you even care what people think if you claim to use discretion anyways?? Would we be having this same arguement if your rights to breastfeed were denied in a public nursing room?? No we wouldnt since half of these women who claim to use discretion, dont use it at all

Ok your saying you wouldnt bat an eyelas if a women was feeding her child in public throw open breast right?? What if a grownmans mouth was on a womens nipples? Breastfeeding with a blanket over the baby isn't as easy as you would think. When you are first learning to breastfeed you do need to see what you are doing to make sure the baby is latched on right. I believe a woman should have the right to breastfeeding anyway she wants if she want to go without covering up that is perfectly normal and fine.

How many times have you tried to breastfeed a baby under a blanket? Have you tried to fix a latch without seeing it? Have you ever had to comfort a baby crying from being overheated under a blanket? I hate that "try eating with a blanket over your head" argument. Here's the difference, genius...we grown-ups eat with forks and plates. It is actually impractical to eat with a blanket over our heads. Babies can see out of a nursing shawl just fine. They are designed so that babies can see up through the top of them while they are being fed. Women who complain about not being able to expose their breast in public are the ones who are being indecent.

We all know your comments are excuses excuses excuses and lies to try and cover up ones tracks. I dont believe you one bit KrisPBG because there is more than 100 optional ways of finding private exclusive areas to breastfeed and so many places that is assesible. Your just lazy as to what it boils down to and your really in this for attention because if you werent, you would try to make some effort on keeping it away from the public eye

You are an idiot spitz.

Nursing mothers, please ...
breastfeed in public - RESPONSIBLY.
dixie212 3 years ago
legal issues people. Nudity in public is not okay.. but I bet more breast is showing in a walmart ad than when you nurse.
utarthut98 3 years ago

Pridefulpain 3 years ago 4
Wait a minute... Do these 1/2 naked women on the covers of MAXIM or SPIKE TV have to cover up their breasts or is it just women who nurture their children???
honeybunch2k6 3 years ago 5
*eyes roll*
I don't care if she pulls out her boob, she has the right to breastfeed in public.
It seems to me like some people are ignoring or plain ignorant of the fact that some babies HATE to be covered up while they are feeding. I wouldn't like it either to be honest.
We in American need to loosen up. Are those pictures of Mary nursing baby Jesus sexual? NOOOOOOOOOO!Are they offensive? NoOOOOO!!!And neither is it when another mother does the same to her child.
honeybunch2k6 3 years ago 5
I can't believe you morons just compared peeing pooping and having sex with feeding. Do you cover up your fugly fat american mouth with a towel when stuffing them with food? Or is covering up needed because *blush* *hypocricy ALERT* breasts *hypocricy ALERT* *blush* are involved? Or are you just bitter because your mum didn't breastfed you? Or even hugged for that matter? Poor little American hypocrite jelaous fat inbreds.

peeing, pooping, and having are all sex natural, but doing them PUBLICLY is something taboo. just put a towel over the tit, we're great with that.

Your a fucking idiot. Please don't ever have children. BREASTS WERE MADE FOR BREASTFEEDING!!

and rectums were made for excreting, and urinary tracts were made for urinating.
By the way, I am a twin & my mother breastfed my brother and I, and yet she never undressed infront of strangers in public...

...but when she needed to, she would always cover with a towel.
MacBookHero 4 years ago
Your still not getting it. Once you actually have children, come talk to me. Until then, you really can't say much. You are sexualizing the act of beastfeeding. To you it is dishonorable, disrespectful, and unmoral to breastfeed in public. You obviously have a long way to go in the growing up department honey. How do you know her breast was "flapping in the wind"? Did you know that most babies cannot breastfeed while covered? Probably not.But then again your ignorance doesn't really surprise me.
rere0405 3 years ago 2
Really and how do you know that babies don't like to be covered, maybe you have 5 kids and all 5 wouldn't eat whilecovered, maybe your kids are just messed up. Because there are over a million other kids out there, so how do you know? Oh that is right you don't KNOW anymore than MacBookHero Knows.
k0blac02 3 years ago
Have you ever tried eating with a blanket over your head--or breathing? How did you like it? Many babies despise it so much that they will cry and/or refuse to nurse when under a blanket, because they cannot breathe as well or simply because they cannot look at mom while eating, something many babies like to do. It can be hard/impossible to keep the blanket from falling off when feeding a child, and it can be even more difficult to help a baby find the nipple and latch on while under a blanket.

Do you have children? Have you breastfed? If no, then you have no right to comment. Thank you.

Simple. Easy.
