  • disqustinggggggg

  • as soon as you started i was like 'Oh My God' .. lol (:

  • hey this is really coooollllll....like it so much :D

  • wow this is amazing how you do that! I imagine how it looks like if I could do that. But the question is: how did you learn that? I wish I could do that to, then my friends are impressed ;D

  • @talentboy11

    Thank you!

I posted a bellyroll workout video. That can help you with isolating the proper areas of the belly ^___^

  • no ofense but look really nasty

  • @1471233691

I am not trying to look attractive in this video. It is purely a demonstration of some very difficult moves in bellydance. The camera video is focused on the belly, and I dressed in a way to avoid the distractions of the rest of my body.

  • @1471233691 no offense your english sucks lol

  • Gosh this is awesome haha

  • haha i know how to do that bellyroll

  • Wow, that is beautiful and amazing!!

  • Cool! Thanks! i'll check out that video!

  • that is really cool! i wish i could do that. how did you learn to do it?

  • @MissLalique

It took me about 6 months to be able to do it well in both directions. I'm still working on developing more control.

I posted my ab isolation work out on my channel. It really helps with bellyrolls ^___^

  • i hope you are popping & locking in no time...i know how u must feel not be able to dance due to health,i too are in the same boat! fantastic belly rolls....please post more & instructions (well the cam is ready) all i can say is :WOW!!!!

  • @akAsha6E6D

    Yay thank you ^____^

  • talent

  • VERY GOOD! WOW!

  • People? Can i ask a dump ques of a newbie? Is it true that belly roll make our ab fatter?

  • @Msbigheart123 No Bellyrolls will not make your abs fatter,it will help to tone them. :-)

  • Thx a million!!!!

  • You are so good!

I more recently started belly dancing, it's such an amazing dance! I'm a bit fat so I'm kind of scared to learn belly rolls :/

Your's are absolutely amazing though! Hope your back gets better :)

  • I started recently. My abs are ok, but I have never worked on diaphragm control. Now the time.

I hoep u recover from your back injury. I also have one but I found belly dance and a great option to workout tiny inner muscles and reduce the pain. And you are really good at that. Keep doing it, It is charming, sexy and healthy. Greets! :)

  • Thank you =D

  • @Pusinko1

I've had decent belly-rolls/flutters for years, but when my abs were damaged from pregnancy, my belly-rolls became a LOT bigger. The damage is also the cause of my back issues =\

With belly-rolls you learn to really "let go" of the abs and stretch them out.

Once you learn to "let it all hang out " you have to focus on keeping it all in when doing most other moves. The back NEEDS that support to prevent ingury.

I'd do lots of crunches/ab work to balance that.

  • Hey :)

I did ab workout for 7 years (every single day) to balance my very pronounced back curve (lordosis). Only stopped when a herniation and required specific treatment. Belly dance was by chance and I found it a great exercise.

I'd like to "let go" a bit more as you said, but I really need to take care. Just take care to compensate for these movements but keep doing it if u can. It's amazing! And when u combine it with dance it will look even better. (my friends loved ur video)

    Cheers :)

  • I think that is what I'm dealing with! After carrying a large child in pregnancy my low back felt sore, and then the lack of ab support + carring my son around + sitting for long periods of time really set off loads of problems/pain. Sadly, I can't afford to see a doctor and the one time I went I was told to do physicaltherapy.

I used to have a flat low back when I was doing ballet 12 hours a week in 2001, but something like that can change with lifestyle changes.

    What is your ab workout?

  • Hi :)

well, my basic rule was 50 or 75 abs a day, before going to sleep and never skip one day. Any exception had to be covered the day after. Then, I got my abs more defined and I started to add 3-4 times a week specific training for particular muscles.

Let me take a look around to find a description of my routine and some links.

Yeah... kids are cute and sweet but caring for them requires time for them and for yourself (and your back). I'll be back in a bit

  • is perfect!! ;-)

  • just total cool!

    congratulations!

  • I am so sorry about your back injury : ( hope everything is healing properly : ) yeah, i would love to post vids, but i do not have a camera : ( but i will be getting one soon, so i am going to have some vids uploaded. I like to do tribal fusion style, so i can't wait to show everyone what i can do. thank you for the encouragement, and keep dancing!!! : )

  • Good job! I remember that I used to do exactly what you are doing, and my belly rolls and flutters are awesome! Keep up the great belly rollin' haha : )

  • Sorry someone just asked the same ? & you answered it . Thanx

  • How long did it take you to master that?

  • OMG! really cool and I wish I could do that.

  • Oh my god.... So so envious of u and you alien tummy. So so amazing. You should make a tutorel so we can all try to be like u. Just purfect, your lower abbs are crazy

  • i been doing it for 4 months and im not as good as that, how long did it take for u to get it that good?

  • About 6 months, but I've had years of vocal training.

Sounds weird, but all of the diaphram exercises really help with controlled belly expansion.

It might take a while to get my camera back, but once I do, I'll post a diaphram/expansion workout.

That plus my ab isolation workout should help everyone with their belly rolls! ^____^

  • Luvleh!!!!!

  • youre fantastic! this takes a lot of practice but you make it look like no big deal.. way to go!

  • dang u killed me in belly rolling

  • Looks like your belly lives its own life! lol

    Cool.

  • Bloody brilliant!

  • perfect!

  • I gave you 5 stars and thank you for sharing your video with us. I think that not a lot of people understand how difficult it is to control muscle tummy and isolate each move. You're doing great!

  • Oh my God! Great!

  • WONDERFUL!!! For such a tiny body you sure can make ur tummy stick out. Thats AMAZING ab work u go girl ^_^ i wish i could reach my damn lower abs lol

  • i cant push the top of my stomach out while the rest is in......any help?

  • I, on the other hand, can't push the top of my stomach in or any other part of my belly while all of them are sticking out... plz, help ;)

  • damn.

  • i know what you mean. i recently hurt my back, and ill be in the middle of bellydancing and ill turn or raise my hip and than i get the cinging pain from hitting the rib in my back.. its terrible i know.

  • And I thought that touching you nose with a tounge needs skills! Man, that is totally skills. Beautiful, nice, hot and awesome skills!

  • Tribal bellydance is based on isolation and the belly roll is a continuation of that.

This video is a focus on belly isolation variations. It adds nicely to an overall bellydance performance. I put it up for those interested in different ways to apply my ab isolation workout.

If you are not interested in this then please feel free to stop watching. <3

  • omg that was amazalying wierd

  • Damn... that`s awsome!

  • Thank you ^____^

  • hey what exercises did you do to learn the reverse belly roll???? please tell me i need to work on that!!!

  • I just use my ab isolation workout. I isolate each musle group one at a time, starting at the bottom.

    Check out my tutorial. =D

  • Where is your tutorial? I would love to roll my belly like that. Have been bellydancing for over 2 years and still haven't been able to roll mine like that! Just lovely! As you said...it looks great when adding it to a performance.

  • bbuena

  • those are amazing. i haven't gotten the roll down yet! what is wrong with your back if you don't mind me asking? i hope you can dance bc you look like a natural!

  • Thank you ^__^

My back has been really weak after having my 9 pound son, and I sprained my back about a year ago moving sand bags. I never had the money to go to physical therapy, and I want to take it super slow since I never had an MRI. I'm just working on my core, listening to my body, and if I get ahead of my self I take a break for a bit.

  • I did grow up around bellydance. I've done tribal belly dance with my mother since I was 3. It was a bunch of fun, but I never really worked on technique or anything so I'm not the astounding dancer you'd expect with that much time doing it lol. Plus I quit dancing 6 years ago, and I'm working on getting back into shape.

My mom was all about doing your own thing, so I came up with an interesting style on my own. I just hope I still remember some of that stuff =P

  • Thats so badass. What song is this?

  • Thank you ^__^

The song is a bonus track on the M.I.A. album Arular

  • do u know the name of the song

  • I wanna roll like you! Amazing!

  • omg you are truly amazing.

i read the comments and its shocking it only took you 6 months to get it. but how did you learn? im starting bellydancing and i can KINDA roll. but i wanna roll like you can

  • I posted an ab isolation/belly roll work out. That really is it. I'm going to post two more videos to show how I do these rolls =D

  • awsome.

omg i cant get over how good you are at that!

  • ^___^

I hope the tutorial helps <3

  • Huge applause - you are inspirational. That is my next 6 month plan then :-)

  • awesome belly work! Rachel brice quality!

  • WOW! =O Thank you!

I so WISH I had belly rolls as good as hers O.O But I'll keep working on it =D

  • My inspiration right there. That's right everyone, she's amazing! <3

  • what?? 6 months?? You're truely gifted!! I should drill more and more

  • Aww Thank you so much! =D

My rolls got a lot better once I made up that 4 part isolation work out. It really helped me a lot.

I do have a voice teacher for a mother, so I'm very familiar with the diaphragm, and how to control it. That really makes the expansion more controlled =D

I should put up a tutorial on the diaphragm, and how it helps with bellydance!! ^__^

    Thank you again <3

  • OOOOOHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good!!!!!!!!!!!! i have never seen SUCH A BIG bellyroll!!!!!!!!!!!!! how long did you need to learn that?

  • super amazing

  • :=O

  • ^__^

  • Awesome!!! That's a most amazing belly rolling i've even seen before. evey beat just on the music...so~o~o~o~o great! ^0^

  • Wow, I can only hope to come close to this with my belly rolls. Have any good tips or tricks. I know it takes time and a whole lot of practice. I have trouble isolating my lower abs. Did you practice this sitting or standing?

  • Aww ^_^ thank you.

I do have some tips. I added a tutorial on an ab workout that helps with these rolls. Also work on pushing out different parts of your belly.

Also remember that the upper abs contract the ribs when you pull them in, and when you release the upper abs the ribs should go back to the neutral position.

  • thank you for posting your bellywork videos, I've been trying to figure out how to explain this stuff ot my students!

  • Hey I hope it helps =)

I was thinking about posting more detailed instruction, to help describe how those ab isolations can help other torso isolations and pops.

  • That would be great. It can be so helpful to show students another teacher's methods and approaches to things. I think sometimes they get too used to me and my approach and it doesn't always sink all the way in.

  • Dios ni mi profesora de belly dance puede hacer eso!

  • Wow! Thank you! What an amazing complement =D

  • Omg O_o

    Thats freakin' amazing xD

Did you do the usual 'push out as far as you can' and 'pull in as far as you can' exercises to be able to do this?

  • Thanks =D

Yep ^__^ I did that, and my ab isolation work out. It's one of my youtube videos =D

  • I am not an expert; but, I love the smooth rolls, like you execute. It is more sensual, and to me, shows much more control. Be patient with yourself, as you are doing a beautiful job!

  • Wow =D

    Thank you.

  • Very beautiful! Your belly looks as if it's trying to eat itself!!

  • also, nice outfit! I especially love the top!

  • Aww Thank you

I still think I should try out a cute bra like in your video. That looked GREAT =D

  • You are an inspiration. I wish to be as good as you one day.

This one goes to my favorite list!

  • Yay!! =D You're the best. You just made my day! <3

You and Yameyameyame were my inspiration to post this video =D

  • yay, public video!

what great isolations. you are so controlled! like I've said, I'm jealous!

how long did it take you, with how much practice? were you ever a natural bellyroller at all?

it just seems so hopeless, I've been practicing for so long and I still can't get a good, isolated reverse belly roll going, and my regular bellyrolls aren't that amazing either.

here's to hoping your back is better soon, so you can get back to dancing all the way. good luck!

  • I had to learn this all over again once I had my son, and it took me about 6 months of doing my workout, along with working on pushing out my tummy. It took me WAY longer than that when I first started dancing.

I was not a natural at belly rolls. It's just hard work. Don't worry about the reverse rolls, those are the hardest thing to get down.

You have great isolations already! ^__^ I bet you'll be looking exactly like Rachel Brice in a few months here. =D

  • great control

  • wwooww, great bellyrolls !!

it looks very very good =)

    nice tummy !!!!

    5 stars !!!!

  • Oh yummy! You have such a delicious tummy tum tum! 5 Stars! Please do a tummy dance for us!

  • Your belly rolls are amazing! The fluidity and control you have over your muscles is so enviable. I hope your back heals and you can get back to classes soon because you kick some serious ass. :D

  • OHHH! I love this. Very nice. You are so fluid! What is your secret? : )

    It's not creepy, it's awesome.

  • Thank you so much <3

I just do my isolation work out ^__^ and I work on pushing out different parts of my tummy =D

  • Great posture and technique and one helluva expansion, nicely done!!

  • Thank you =)

Do you think the expansion is too big? I'm not sure =/

  • My opinion, absolutely not...the more expansive, the better (depending on the synchronizing of the beat of the music you're rolling to)...you have nice pace and adjustment speed, there's nothing wrong at all. :D

  • Great! I'm not a dancer, but i can do this to and have vids on my chanel.
