@jake13152 there is black silicone holding the jar to the wood, a black hose connected to the brass fitting which is epoxied into the jar and the black rubber diaphragm cut out of a pond liner. I used washers from a car shock absorber, which are con-caved so as to not cut the diaphragm.

@joeyhuston I used a carbide tipped drill and some water to keep the bit cool and slow speed.

i made the same thing but the dc 12 v motor runs at 500 rpm and it pumps like crazy

Umm a windshield washer pump will put out more than that and is cheaper and uses less power.
