  • Gun Free Zones = Victim Concentration Zones

Those "gun free zone" signs NEVER stopped anyone from killing innocent people. Do you think the crazy fuck who shot up virginia tech gave a shit? NO. Did the Columbine kids care. NO

Did all of the other hundreds of kids that shot up their schools see that sign and say "oh well I guess I can't shoot that place up because of that sign". NOPE. People, get real and quit being so goddamn naive, gun free zones are a crock of shit. Get your CCW permit

  • i carry every day, as a U.S citizen it is your right and your duty. with an armed public, criminals have no idea who is safe to victimize and who is not. there is a reason Sweden has the lowest violent crime rate, and that countries like Australia and England's violent crime rates skyrocketed after strict gun control laws were passed. this is not opinion this is fact, with empirical evidence to back it up.

  • CCW ?.lets take AMERICA back one criminal at a time train, practice, shoot dont hide it in a drawer. be responsible, lets take AMERICA bake one criminal at a time

  • Sad situation that could have ended with fewer lives lost...

  • good advise for a stronger america... you have my vote...

  • More legal guns + concealed carry permits + law abiding citizens = less victims

  • Any way to carry in Illinois?

  • All those gun-free zones. There has never been a mass murder in American history in a place where the intended victims were allowed to be armed. Why do we threaten the would-be murderers with misdemeanors for illegal possession of firearms? That makes no sense!

  • Comment removed

  • Yes you can... educate yourself. Several universities allow students and teachers to carry a firearm on campus.

  • It's the bad guys that get all the press. One good guy that could stop a mass murder like that would never get any news coverage at all. Common sence just don't sell the papers! Me? I'm a CCW holder and I always travel armed.

  • Good common sense message. Our Traitors in Washington and state levels know this, but they don't care about US or doing the right thing. "THey" are simply concerned with disarming US and empowering themselves. Join a pro gun org like JPFO, NRA-ILA,GOA etc..80 mil gun owners and a little over 1 mill bother to spaek up via membership. It cost $30.00 per year to help preserve your right to self defense..DO it and DON'T rely on the next guy to carry your weight. We must stick together. It is US vs..

  • I am glad that living in Utah I am legally allowed to carry concealed at ALL 11 of our public universities statewide. Utah is the ONLY state in the nation that allows this. If anything goes down, I will be able to protect MYSELF. This is my first and only priorty. If I save others in the meantime, so be it. Police have ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION to protect individual citizens, only the general public, they clean up the mess afterwards. Protecting myself is MY OBLIGATION AND RESPONSIBILITY!!!

  • Agreed!

  • @vwaudiwelder Oregon, you are allowed to carry on school grounds

  • THOSE WERE GUN FREE OZONES!!!!! Shows that gun control works!!!

  • You'd be a hero if it worked, but you'd have a felony for carrying on school campus

  • i would but people here in illinois wont let me the pricks, may blood be on theyr hands

  • Darin: Keyes was a good man. Obama and his momma would't have made a pimple on that man's ass. Join a pro gun group and put your opinion (politly) in front of the politicians face everytime you can. I always write my crooked-spineless politicians. If enough of us vote pro gun, there would be no gun control at all. Vote freedom first!

  • In california you can get a concealed carry even....

  • you can get them its just a pain in the ass....

  • Your right currently will not extend to school grounds, so your video FAILS.

  • but it should carry to school grounds. what is more dangerous, one person firing into a group of students, or a student with a permit to carry firing out of a group at a single person? criminals love gun free zones. do you honestly think that columbine would have happened if they knew that the students, or at least the teachers, were armed?

  • Thats must be nice, I am in PA and going on 4th year of college and you can't even carry maise.

  • 45 Coltreloading: You can't carry maise? Did you mean corn (maize). I think u meant MACE!!! Sorry, just busting your chops but it gave me a giggle, thanks. That is silly, not allowed mace. How about pepper spray? I'm also a Utah(SLC) resident, moved from Delaware. Its a different world out here. Very polite, health concious and very family/community oriented. Its not the guns, its the people.

  • Hey thats ok, when you write quick you sometime spell check. lol. But in PA you can only carry one of those 1oz. or smaller mace bottles. The state kind of sucks.

  • vwaudiwelder: I moved from Delaware to Utah 7 months ago and I can tell you one thing, I would trust Utah students more so than the average East coast student with a hand gun. I too have my CC permit and hopefully I won't have to use it. To this day, I'm amazed at the culture out here and I hope most of the west and east coast transplants don't ruin it !! But, you Utahn's are CRAZY drivers!!! I thought the east coast was bad!!

  • i think i am moving to utah

  • and get rid of "gunfree zones"..

  • You're an imbecile.

  • I hope that you realize that even with a Concealed Weapons Permit (a/k/a Concealed Pistol License) it is not permitted to carry a firearm onto public educational facilities (i.e., Columbine or Virginia Tech). Therefore, it would have done no good. This is one of our rights that is being slowly stripped. I am not saying that I agree with it. I would just rather the facts be outlined, than disinformation.

  • I have had my CCW permit for 10 years now. I have not had an incident that would call for me using my weapon, but believe me, if it had, or will be in the future, I wouldnt hesiate to do so. Still its a good feeling to be at the ready, in the event a mad man came into the place where I was at,restraunt or library, to do me or others bodily harm. but its ilke this said so correctly. If you plan on keeping yourself safe, carry, or else dial 911,,,, and die. Well said Jimi 85.

  • Most people I know that have their CCDW like I do have the same basic attitude, that my personal safety is not up to anyone else, it is my responsibility. Police are often over extended and not always available. In those circumstances you are an easy target for criminals.

  • just took my ccw class on saturday

  • My wife and I just took ours the week before you did. In your line of work .....I be tempted to carry never know what you'd run into ( but I'm sure there would be no way possible you could huh )

  • You carry a gun Because You can and It's your right no matter how many people question those rights...It is our right as a people and an expression of those rights in not being slaves to governement or criminals

  • college campus...yes, i should be able to carry my gun. however...at a high school? hell no, i would not even trust myself at that age! not sure if thats what you meant at the beginning.

  • How could you even conceal carry at a highschool if you are NOT EVEN OF AGE to get the permit?! DUH!!!

Only a faculty member, or parent can legally do that... and in the state of GA, it is legal for conceal carry permit holder to carry but only if they were picking up a child from school etc.

  • i assume your comment is about the first part of this video (pics of columbine) as well. This video would be far more effective if he left out the Columbine part and focused on colleges or another public setting.

  • How about teachers and other faculty?

  • for some that would be appropriate. my high school that i graduated from has deputies that patrol the halls and cafeteria.generally the students respect that authority and we have not had any issues. however, there is always that one moment where some student with a gun would decide to open fire in a class room. for that reason, i would support some staff having guns in a high school. but,i am a member of SCCC and our platform has nothing to do with high school.

    ~SCCC@BSU(on personal account)

  • "for some that would be appropriate. my high school that i graduated from has deputies that patrol the halls"

I taught HS and middle school for many years and allowing handguns in those schools is irresponsible. From experience theft is a serious problem in schools and almost nothing is safe. aving a handgun in a females purse or in a desk drawer is a recipe for disaster. The college situation is different.

  • That's the problem though. Irresponsible gun owner ship. A gun should NEVER be left in a desk or left in an unattended purse. Most gun people know that. Since I"ve owned guns, my house is locked up tight, my bedroom at night is locked, etc. My wife (not a gun person, but ok with it) once asked, "if we have a gun, why lock the bedroom door" I told her that since we have guns, I don't want to have to use them so I lock up better to avoid that possibility.

  • @FuchsTone66 Locked doors don't stop intruders. They provide a "defensive depth". You already know this I'm sure but don't be afraid to tell your old lady. Even a paper wall lengthens the time it takes for 1 person to get to another person and strike.

  • Definately good advice.

  • The only problem with this video is that you CANNOT carry a concealed handgun in any of those places.

  • In Oregon you can if your not an employee of the school district and are of age. sorry to burst your bubble.

  • Oregon was not mentioned in the video was it?

  • I can't imagine many states laws being much different. Otherwise what's the point of concealed carry laws.

  • By law yes... who will know if your not a dumbass though? i see nothing wrong with bending the rules when there stupid fucking rules that cost more lives than save them. Go and make laws that prevent guns from being places, and its only the bad guy's who have em.

  • @branman7 The reason shootings at schools are so bad is because the victims are not permitted by law to have the ability to shoot bad. Guns control kills people everyday.

  • @acoow Or maybe the fact they have access to guns is whats killing people?? You paranoid gun nuts are sickening and so is this video. Maybe our gun laws should be changed so that high school kids can't get automatic weapons. Ever think of that? Of course not, you people are too busy twisting the constitution to get your sick way.

  • @Streetmastaalex What is sickening is people like you who think anyone with a gun is a murderer waiting to happen. What happened to you in your youth that makes you have such a low opinion of your fellow man?

As for school kids being able to buy automatic weapons, our laws already makes this illegal. Get your facts straight. If you have to lie to defend your opinion, it is because you are wrong. Ever think of that? Of course not. You are too busy twisting the truth to get your sick way.

  • @acoow Yeah thats what the media has taught you. "Shoot first or be shot" thats the mentality that people like you have and THATS what leads to gun crime. And yeah, its illegal. Then how did the kids get them??? I'm sure they didn't MAKE the guns. Somewhere along the way, someone got them from a legal dealer. So by making the assumption that if someone was carrying that day, they would have been saved, you could also say that if those guns were never sold, the killings wouldn't happen.

  • @Streetmastaalex Although it is true that if these kids hadn't been sold their guns, they would not have been able to shoot anyone, I have three observations to this statement:

    1) If you think this is a viable solution, you are living in a fantasy world.

    2) If you think the only way for a nutcase to kill is with a gun, you are living in a fantasy world.

    3) Criminals, by their nature, ignore the law. If you think making more laws is going to fix this, you are living in a fantasy world.

  • @Streetmastaalex You still haven't explained your tendency to lie to defend your opinion.

  • @Streetmastaalex You really think that if all guns were illegal this would not create an illegal market for guns?

  • @branman7 in Michigan with the Sheriff of the county's written consent.

  • Good advice for those with a clean record.
