them back on select the # of springs and just put them on more springs also makes it harder to push down on the bar also try playing without the back plate to me it sounds better and it will also make it easier to change your strings by not having to take it off
hey ummm did it come with a whammy bar because if you have to buy it do you have to add some thing like a spring or you just the whammy bar in and your good to go please reply!
there are a few things you can do to help with the going out of tune problem. i have heard that putting another 1 or 2 springs in (you can only have a total of five) would help evh did it so did hendrix plus i think that also makes it sound better and have more sustain. their are a few other tricks that you could find on the internet like twisting the ball end every time you move the tunning peg, i learned that from evh in the FEBRUARY 2009 issue of guitar world. you can also do what i did and

You can get locks by the top so when you use ur wammy it doesn't get out of tune
