I Wonder Why These Are So Expensive. $2000 is way too much i have bought a real one and converted it to Airsoft for no more then $600, and mine is Electric, with a 20,000 Round Drum Mag.

And she MG-42's firerate could also change when the pin hit an certain temperature. A skilled MG-crew could hold a much higher firerate much longer than any inexperienced crew=)

Wrong! AirsoftCornerCOM is right. The MG42 was 1200rpm, but also it could achieve up to 1400rpm with caertain bolts. The barrel has nothing to with the rate of fire on the MG42.

A real MG-42 shoots MUCH faster than 5 RPS. More like 20 RPS.

The real one had a ROF of more like 20 shots a second, 5rps would be really slow.

The Shoei Airsoft MG-42 shoots 300-400 fps, depending on the preassure. ROF is something like 600rpm, or 10 rps, so not at all like the real deal.
