  • Ive got a siezed one to free up. All new to me, and i dont want to break anything. Any tips?

  • @tattooer8 Lots of WD40 and a hard rubber hammer, and a piece of wood to hit it from the other side, smack the pistion back and forth in the cylinder to free it up o and patience

  • @tattooer8 Put some coca-cola in the cylinder, let it sit for a week, and tap the pistons with a rubber mallet.

  • Did these engines have any valve overlap? I was watching the valve action and didn't see both partially open at any time.

  • @modelterr I wish you well and I hope you are ready for a discovery of a lifetime as that is just the beginning of things you will learn about the Model A . It can be a bit taxing at times but, It's all good!! Never give up discovering NEW THINGS and having fun with your new Model A Ford..It is better when you have Model A Friends to work with..

  • looks like it was running nice and lean on the front cylinders. the back looked a little rich in color

  • @enginemasterbuilder I read a piece in the RESTORER and a study indicated there may be a lack of water circulation in that back no 4 cyl as that cyl has a tendency to have more problems namely burnt valves...
