@Souljacol if you go on google and type in free youtube to mp3 converter, you can download the video and it converts it to mp3 and you can put it on your ipod. thats what i`m doing now. hope this helps
@SpunkDustbin thanks mate, i actually managed to download it from amazon uk. if you type in ''regulate jammin'' it will come up. it was on the Death Row singles collection apparently.
The "Official" version with the I keep forgettin' bits in was the "Jammin' mix" which was indeed played on the radio and released on the UK single release...
This sounds more like some mash up of i keep forgetting and the main version of Regulate.
I seem to remember this was actually the version that always got played on the radio. Because I just heard the ones that DIDN'T have McDonald vocals in for the first time and thought "this sounds wierd"
I don't even like hip-hop, but this got stuck in my head from watching Yacht Rock, Episode 7. Funny shit, it's the 'true' story of how this song was written.
Like so many people have said here - I had started to believe that I'd made this remix up in my head! Thanks so much for posting! I've been looking for this for YEARS!
I f'n love this mashup. I first heard it in 1996 on the Power Pig in Tampa (BLTS FTE) I keep telling my friends about it and they just stare blankly. Now they will still stare blankly but at least they will have killer listening music
This isn't the proper version with Michael McDonald.
The Real version is much better and doesn't have that sample from Young Guns at the beginning, It just kicks straight in with the rap and Michael's samples are much longer forming the chorus.
This is like a bastard hybrid version which was never on the soundtrack.
The real one was called the Jamming mix and was on the B-side of the old Above the Rim soundtrack, with Tupac's Pain.
I remember in 1997 at a party in Gahanna, Ohio someone there put this mix of the "Regulate" song there and every one was singing it - Warren G, Nate Dogg, Michael McDonald and Maureen McDonald - thank you much for the kickass memories
To the people on here calling it a mash-up, it's not really a "mash-up" when you're mixing a song with the original song that the first song gets its hook from. That's like mashing up "U Can't Touch This" with "Superfreak". This is really more like a remix.
It's just a mix of the chorus from Michael McDonald's I Keep Forgetting (which Regulate samples) and Regulate. I don't think any actual collaboration happened.
man aint listend ta this mix for ages love it.
