  • Thanks Rach!

  • I love your videos, you are so talented, and give me so many new techniques to try out

    Thanks

  • Can you make this video where mobile phone can view it?

  • @alphafem75 I wasn't aware that it couldn't be viewed on a mobile - I will look into the settings and see what I can do - thanks for making me aware :-)

  • Hello, I was just wondering where you bought the crown or how it was made out of polymer clay.

  • @kiraaxchaos Hi, The crown was made with Fimo soft and a mould by Krafty Lady. I used black clay, and dusted it with gold perfect pearls.

  • Wow..this is amazing! I love the pretty patina color! Thank you for sharing your terrific talent!

  • did that copper sheeting come with the embossed designs on them.. r did you do that? if so ...how/

    i looove it all. thanx.

  • Hi Rachel! I just started subscribing to your videos...I learn more in ONE of your videos than I do in watching MANY others! Please keep them coming! One question, what did you say the paint was that you used on these projects (i.e., on the paper and the clay) to make them look like aged copper?

  • @leetlemother P.S....where did you find the crown mold?

  • Hi Rachel,

Thank you so much for sharing. I can't wait to try your techniques! Hope you don't get tired of sharing.

  • Excellent projects! I have those molds in mind for my next haul :) I love the patina in the third with the fleur de lis. Very pretty.

  • Hi Rach, love this! I had some sheets of copper that I have had for a long time. I am doing the overnite soak tonight. I like the middle one the best. You mentioned the patina coming off and I am wondering if you took some spray acrylic and coated it if that would keep it from coming off? I have sprayed paper to keep glitter from coming off and it worked well. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me. Have a great weekend.

  • @grammypame Hi, Yes, the finishing lacquer that I mention using is acrylic based, though some still came off. I also found that if you want to glue things onto it, use something sharp to score the metal for a better grip - Or use brads etc for attaching embellishments. Have fun playing! Hugs, Rach

  • Great techniques and beautiful projects! TFS!

  • AWESOME job Rach! Two days ago I started a project that has an aged patina look.

  • Hi, Rach. Is this Art Emboss copper sheeting? Did you use light or medium weight? Thanks for sharing. This is a great technique! Sharon :D

  • @NJGardengirl1961 Sorry, I don't know what brand it is - I bought it years ago before any major companies were producing it. I would say it is a medium-heavy weight copper as it is quite rigid - Though I think a lighter weight material would be easier to work with.

  • Hi how did you make the frame did you use a mold?

  • @trinitydore I used a sizzix die cut as a template & cut around it

  • very nice work. My favorite was the crown picture =D

  • Fantastic projects Rachel!! Wondering if you can do a tutorial on making the polymer crown and the frame? They turned out gorgeous! TFS Najat

  • Hi- I just have a question, do you put the perfect pearls on the polymer clay before you bake it or after?

    Thanks, I love your work!

    Becky

  • @beckwhitty I add the perfect pearls before baking because the heat binds them to the clay.
