Last night we huddled in our basement at 1:45 am and listened to this sound as a tornado passed about a half mile away. It. Sucked. The national weather service has not yet confirmed that it was a tornado but there is no doubt in my mind- what else sounds like that? As if it's not enough of a nightmare to hear that getting louder and louder coming at you in the middle of the night, then we started hearing what sounded like trees being snapped in half. That's when it starts to feel "real."

wow...that was really close. you are lucky. thanks for the view. we just survived one in Wadena MN yesterday at 5:20pm Wiped out the school, swimming pool, a cemetary and covered about 10 blocks that are pretty much ransacked if not destroyed but no body died.
TY for posting that video. So many times, I see videos on youtube where some Guy goes back in his backyard and films a few leafs blowing and some rain falling clamming that a tornado was near. Your video was the REAL deal!

We just had a Tornado around here in the Toledo, Ohio area. Millbury Ohio looks like a warzone it's really sad...hugs from Toledo, Ohio!!!
