Rexaura was amazingly cooler in PoR. Also a quick tip to everyone. You only get rexbolt so train your mages with thunder mostly, getting s in wind or fire is useless

@wingbatjoe This is a trial map I believe and it can be played by going to the extras section of the game. There are three possible Trial Maps to unlock. You unlock one by beating the game on Easy Mode, another on Normal Mode, and the third one on Hard Mode. You can unlock all three at once if you just beat the game on Hard Mode once.

@strongnoob i don't have codes for these tomes, but the codes i do have i used with pro action replay and an action replay memory card. i'm no programmer, but i think using a different memory card may make a difference.

mages can use all anima spells in FE9, but in FE10, she can only use Rexflame

@hjt091 unless you use usbGecko, etc. to hack radiant dawn and force it to allow them to use all spells. i can't, but other (smarter) people probably can.

well its really just in FE10 as in FE9 the S rank fire and wind times are unobtainable through normal gameplay, and besides thunder was ridiculously overpowered in FE9 so no one really used anything else

I don't own PoR but only RD... I don't know how but I like the battle sequence here more (character casting spell and such...)

Animations are good, and I can see a great improvement in RD for them.

Yes she did. When a mage do a kind of weid dance before attacking it's sign of critical hit.

Rexcalibur kept its GBA name in the french verson. In english, they took a completely different tome(excalibur) and added an R in the front.

then they expanded Rex into Rexbolt and Rexflame.

It seems that the animations in Rad. Dawn were taken from the regular S levels in this game. But in RD, they still have Aura and Bolganone and stuff so I don't know what their (Bolg., etc.) animations are in RD, never used them.

Actually, the SS magic in RD and S magic in PoR have different animations. For example, PoR Rexcalibur has smaller icebergs but bigger tornado, while RD Rexcalibur has larger icebergs but little tornado.

But they are essentially the same animation - tornado, then little ice chunks.  I mean, it's not like one of them has fire or something. Also, in PoR I don't think it's called Rexcalibur. I think it's Fimbulvetr but that may just be in the French version.

fimbluvetr is the name gived to rexcalibur in the french version of fire emblem games ,but it is a name from the nordic mythology :
